Abstract

Immunobiologics provide the hope for safe and effective long-term management of psoriasis, a life-disabling condition. The use of targeted immunotherapies as pathogenic probes has led to scientific discoveries that help uncover new information on the pathogenesis of psoriasis and on the control of cutaneous immunity. The research described in this paper employs targeted immunotherapies as pathogenic probes of T1-mediated immune disorders, using psoriasis as the primary disease model.
