The author discusses the 2 practical reviews presented in the journal including one by NE Jufas and R. Wood which considers benzodiazepines as a potential treatment option in tinnitus. Tinnitus represents a condition without consistent and robust treatment pathway and physicians will often try multiple therapies with patients acting as willing recipients seeking relief. The other review is an example of a Cochrane style secondary research effort with well-being goals and structured data search.
