An investigation is made to examine the influence of chemically reactive species and mixed convection on the magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) Williamson nanofluid induced by a nonisothermal cone and plate in porous medium. In the boundary layer region, nanoparticles deliver potentials in increasing the impact of convective heat transfer. Joule heating effect is also considered. Similarity transformations are used to convert the coupled partial differential equations into a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations with variable coefficients. The transformed governing nonlinear boundary layer equations are solved numerically by using amended form of Fehlberg's method. It is adequate to discuss several physical mechanisms such as analytical velocity, temperature and concentration profiles and also closed-form skin friction/mass transfer/heat transfer coefficients, all as given in the present analysis. The numerical results acquired for several physical mechanisms are revealed through plots for two different cases (cone and plate). It is found that temperature profile increases for large values of thermophoresis parameter, Brownian motion and Eckert number, but reduces for large values of Prandtl number. A mathematical model is presented to discuss magnetohydrodynamic Sisko fluid flow over a stretching cylinder with cumulative effects of viscous dissipation and Joule heating in the presence of nanoparticles. The mathematical modelling of the physical problem produced nonlinear set of partial differential equations which are transfigured into simultaneous system of ordinary differential equations with appropriate boundary conditions via suitable scaling group of transforms. Shooting technique is used to solve nonlinear set of flow govern equations. Comparison of numerical solution is made with previously reported data to validate the accuracy. The influence of governing parameters on the velocity, temperature and concentration is discussed under different parametric conditions. The numerically computed results are deliberated via graphs by selecting suitable values of the relevant physical parameters. Additionally to insight physical phenomenon in the vicinity of surface skin friction coefficient, local Nusselt number and local Sherwood number are computed and explicated through tables as well as graphs. The objective of this article is to explore the computational aspects of temperature dependent dynamic viscosity of Maxwell nanofluid flow over a variable thicked surface. The dynamic viscosity of the fluid is assumed to depend on temperature and due to thermal and solutal stratifications, viscosity of the liquid also depends on thermal and concentration diffusions. Temperature dependent dynamic viscosity model causes change in thermal and solutal stratifications. The basic mathematical model (system of PDEs) is reduced into nonlinear ODEs by applying similarity variables. Computational solutions of the differential system are obtained by efficient numerical approach (fifth order Rung-Kutta Fehlberg method) along the Cash and Karp. The consequential solutions are sketched for different values of physical constraints. Parameters like the temperature dependent viscosity, the fluid relaxation parameter, the wall thickness parameter and the Hartmann number are found to control the flow field. In addition, the Prandtl number, the Brownian motion parameter, the activation energy parameter, the chemical reaction rate parameter, the thermophoresis parameter, the thermal stratification parameter, the Lewis number, and the solutal stratification parameter are found to control the concentration and temperature distributions inside the stretching surface. It can be seen that for large values of the fluid relaxation parameter, the temperature dependent viscosity and the wall thickness parameter the velocity profile declines whereas reverse behavior is noticed for Hartmann number. Moreover, for large values the Lewis number, solutal stratification parameter and activation energy parameter the concentration profile shows decrease behavior. • Change in viscosity of Maxwell nanofluid on heat and mass is clarified. • Plastic dynamic viscosity at initial steady state is investigated. • Activation energy is considered mass equation. • Small nanoparticle size is beneficial for heat assignment increase. • Relationship between kinematic viscosity and intermolecular force is described.
