4. PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN IKLIM KERJA TERHADAP KUALITAS MENGAJAR DOSEN

This research aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work climate on the quality of teaching lecturers. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, a sample of 63 lecturers at Fakultas Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Suska Riau. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale model and data was analyzed using simple regression analysis, multiple regression, partial correlation and correlation coefficient of determination. The results shown that: (1) The amount of influence of work motivation on the quality of teaching lecturers obtained results of 0.674 (strong correlation), while the effect was 41%. The research hypothesis shown that "work motivation has a significant effect on the quality of teaching lecturers" is accepted. (2) The amount of work climate influence on the quality of teaching obtainedresults of 0.681 (strong correlation) and the effect of 36%. The research hypothesis can be concluded that "work climate has a significant effect on the quality of teaching lecturers" can be accepted. (3) The influence of motivation and work climate on the quality of teaching obtained results of 0.743 (strong correlation) with the influence of 45% and the remaining 55% was influenced by other factors. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis which states "work motivation and work climate have a significant effect on the quality of teaching lecturers" can be accepted.

Quality of education is the achievement of the implementation of educa-tional process managed in line with the aim of quality improvement. This research is motivated by the initial condition in the field where the quality of equivalency education package C program in Cimahi City not optimal which is allegedly caused by less optimal managerial commitment and leadership of PKBM chairman. This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of the commitment of managers and leadership situational PKBM chairman of the quality of equivalency education package C pro-gram management in Cimahi City. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach using survey design. The subjects of the study were 64 people, consisting of 16 PKBM chairmen and 48 packages of C program managers from 16 PKBM. Data analysis technique used is pear-son product moment correlation, determination, and regression. The re-sults obtained by showing the posittif and significant influence between the commitment of managers and leadership situational PKBM chairman of the quality of equivalency education package C program management. The magnitude of these impacts can be considered for PKBM in an effort to improve the quality of equivalency education package C program

The 21st century is a globall economic era that demands open competition. Therefore, in order to survive in the 21st century, the younger generation is required to have core skills that can overcome severe challenges. At the same time, individuals and organizations associated with educational institutions need to improve competencies both individually and organically. This paper will analyse how the core skills of leadership implemented in SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung. The research method used is descriptive research methodolearning organizationgy with qualitative approach. The discussion is done by triangulation of data from interview, documentation, and observation. This research found some thing that is, the need of develearning organizationpment of learning organization to support the core skill of student leadership in school. Learning organization is a hallmark of 21st century organization, consisting of 4 core components namely; (1) Organization, (2) Individual, (3) Knowledge, (4) Technolearning organizationgy. The four components described in several sub-systems are clearning organizationsely related to the key to the implementation of 21st century core education skills in schools. Both are strongly influenced by organizational leaders' understanding of the process in detail in enhancing the effectiveness of individual teacher roles and groups within the organization. The organizational ability to survive is largely determined by the desire of individuals in change, it is strongly influenced by leaders who have far-sighted visions, who become agents of change, and are aware of the evolving state of the environment.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of ethical leadership, teacher capacity building and school culture in the implementation of character education. This study used a mixed method sequential expalanatory survey method of 252 private junior high schools in West Java, known as Boarding Schools, data analysis used a Co-variant-based SEM approach. The results showed that leadership in boarding school-based junior high schools was formed by the leadership's awareness of ethical values. The teacher is not yet fully ready to accept the online-based learning process and the inter-action limitation system in terms of efforts to achieve learning objectives in the learning system in the boarding school. The cultural values developed include local wisdom, orientation to science and theology. The successful implementation of character education depends on the ability, capability and contribution of the individual in providing character education. Ethical leadership, teacher capacity building and school culture have a significant role in the effectiveness of implementing character education.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Talent Management dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja pegawai Direktorat PGTK PAUD dan Dikmas Kemdikbud dengan metode kuantitatif menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada tahun 2018 ketiga variabel kinerja, talent management, dan motivasi kerja pegawai berada pada kategori “tinggi”. Berdasarkan pengolahan data, talent management berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Begitu pula halnya dengan motivasi kerja yang juga berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Apabila kedua variabel independen ini digabungkan maka didapatkan hasil bahwa talent management dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh sebesar 46,4% terhadap kinerja pegawai, sementara sisanya sebesar 53,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Namun dalam uji parsialnya (uji t), meskipun kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, dapat disimpulkan bahwa khusus variabel talent management dianggap tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan.

This research resulted in several things: a) Profile of the student organization of BEM HMD ADPEND and BE HIMA PG-PAUD note that programs of both organizations are run properly with the reali-zation of 100%; b) The role of the Chairman of Department in shaping the character of leadership on student is in terms of planning, participation, communication, delegation, and evaluation; c) How to shape the charac-ter of student leadership is throught activities in the work programme for a period of management. That also maximized by the chairman of the De-partement throught the student conduct will supervision of verbal, non-verbal, partisipasif, persuasive, an motivation; and d) The character of leadership which was formed through the activity of students are intelli-gent, spirited, strong and tough, responsibility, honest and true, dare to take risks, and innovative.

Rendahnya mutu pendidikan yang ditandai dengan rendahnya profesionalisme pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan; kurangnya ketersediaan dan pemanfaatan sarana-prasarana; lemahnya penggalian, manajemen dan akuntabilitas keuangan; dan kurangnya prakarsa/inisiatif berinovasi dalam pengembangan kurikulum merupakan akar masalah perlunya peningkatan kapasitas manajemen sekolah dalam merespons kebutuhan stakeholders dan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan. Tiga segitiga sama sisi kapasitas yaitu kapasitas individu, kapasitas organisasi, kapasitas kepemimpinan menjadi fokus kajian pengembangan kapasitas manajemen sekolah. Penelitian yang melibatkan mahasiswa ini secara intensif menggunakan metode RD dalam rekabangun model yang paling feasibel untuk membangun kapasitas manajemen sekolah yang efektif dan efisien pada SMA di Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan kapasitas manajemen sekolah dimulai dari peningkatan kemampuan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan profesional yang dilandasai pengembangan diri secara individual dan kelompok, dilakukan secara kontinu dan dengan penilaian kinerja yang valid. Alat untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan bagi pengembangan kapasitas manajemen adalah kolegialitas dan prinsip pelaksanaannya adalah berkelanjutan melalui suatu action plan yang terukur. Model yang dikembangkan adalah 4CeeS untuk kepemimpinan bintang 5. 4CS (Casing, Communicating, Competencies, Contribution, Sample), Bintang lima 2 dimensi (Dimensi 1 : spirit-self dicipline, relationship-heart, purpose; Dimensi 2: Constructivistic Leadership-Valuebased leadership-servant leadership; transformationalleadership;visionary leadership)The low quality of education in Indonesia has been indicated by several phenomena, such as the low quality of teachers’ and educational staffs professionalism; the lack of facility, deficiency of educational financing in terms of absorption, budgeting, and accountability; the lack of educational innovations in developing curriculum. Those fundamental problems indicate the need of improvement in terms of capacity development for school management that will be able to response to stakeholder’s needs and scientific development. Importantly, there are three important aspects that should be kept in mind to develop the capacity of school management. Those important aspects are individual, organizational, and leadership capacity. To construct a feasible model that will be able to build an efficient and effective senior high school management in West Java-Indonesia, this study employed a research and development (RD) methodology. The findings revealed that the development of school management was started from the improvements done by teachers and administrators underlined. The improvements made were laid on the foundation of individual and organizational development through managerial tools. One of the tools that could be used was collegiality. It was recommended therefore that the collegiality should be based on measurable action plans that lead to a 4CS model — Casing, Communicating, Competencies, Contribution, and Sample. 4CS model is adopted from five-star leadership that has two dimensions. When the first dimension consists of self-discipline spirit, affective relationship, and purpose, the second dimension consists of constructive, value-based, servant, transformational, and visionary leadership.

Desentralisasi memberikan keleluasan kepada sekolah untuk mengembangkan langkah manajemen yang diorientasikan pada prakarsa mewujudkan budaya mutu. Dalam terminologi manajemen, lembaga pendidikan yang bermutu adalah yang memenuhi syarat efektifitas, efisiensi, dan produktifitas. Menjadi tanggungjawab pemimpin merintis, menciptakan dan mendorong tumbuhnya budaya mutu di sekolah melalui pemimpin yang memiliki daya pikir jauh ke depan yang mampu menangani perubahan dan menciptakan pembahan pendidikan ke arah kualitas sehingga dapat diraih predikat sekolah efektif. Penelitian ini diarahkan pada budaya yang terdiri atas tiga sub variabel yaitu pola nilai, pola kebiasaan, pola sikap dan tindakan Variabel-variabel tersebut dikaji keberartian kontribusinya pada efektifitas sekolah yang dinilai dari indikator layanan manajemen, learning Organization, dan kompetensi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode explanatory snrvey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui instrument angket. Unit analisisnya adalah Kepala SMAN pada Dinas Pendidikan Kota di Propinsi Jawa Barat, dengan sample 64 orang. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa Efektifitas Sekolah dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan oleh budaya sekolah. Nilai yang perlu selalu dirujuk dalam mengembangkan budaya mutu adalah nilai spiritual, nilai otonomi dan nilai profesionalisme. Sedangkan pola sikap dan tindakan yang perlu terus dibangun adalah komunikasi, pergaulan akademik dan social, serta pembinaan personil. Untuk pola kebiasaan, aspek slogan, moto, upacara-upacara, dan uniformitas dalam berbagai hal perlu dieleminir dan diciptakan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang tidak kontraproduktif dengan efektifitas sekolah

Sekolah adalah tempat untuk memperoleh pendidikan secara lebih terstruktur, sistematis, terencana, serta berkelanjutan. Karena itu guru harus memperhatikan kualitas layanan yang diberikan kepada siswa agar kualitas pendidikan menjadi lebih baik. Untuk itu juga diperlukan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang mampu mengakomodir potensi guru, yaitu kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar pengaruh kualitas layanan guru dan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah dasar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment, determinasi, dan regresi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Populasi penelitian adalah sekolah dasar di Kota Cilegon, 149 sekolah. Sampel penelitian 60 sekolah melalui teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kualitas layanan guru dan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah dasar sangat kuat.AbstractSchool is a place where a person getting an education is more structured, systematic, planned, and sustained. Therefore, teachers should pay attention to the quality of services provided to the students so that the quality of education for the better. It is also necessary for school leadership that is able to accommodate the potential of teachers, namely the principal’s of transformational leadership. This study aims to examine how much influence the quality of service of teachers and the principal transformational leadership to the quality of primary school. The data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation, determination, and regression. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The study population was primary school in Cilegon, 149 schools. The research sample 60 schools through simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the influence of the quality of service of teachers and principals transformational of leadership on the quality of primary schools is very strong.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah (X1) dan kinerja guru (X2) terhadap mutu sekolah (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel yan mencakup kepala sekolah dan guru sebanyak 327 orang pada 39 SD negeri terakreditasi A dikabupaten Cianjur. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner dengan model skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi sederhana, regresi ganda, dan analisis korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan besarnya pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah pada SD negeriterakreditasi A di kabupaten Cianjur diperoleh sebesar 0,700 (korelasi kuat), sedangkan pengaruhnya sebesar 49%. Bedasarkan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan “kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah” dapat diterima. Sedangkan besarnya pengaruh kinerja guru terhadap kineja guru terhadap mutu sekolah pada SD negeri terakreditasi A di kabupaten Cianjur diperoleh sebesar 0,709 (korelasi kuat), sedangkan pengaruhnya sebesar 50,2%. Berdasakan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan “kinerja guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah” dapat diterima. Besarnya pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru terhadap mutu sekolah pada SD Negeri terakreditasi A di kabupaten Cianjur sebesar 0,722 (korelasi kuat), sedangkan pengaruhnya sebesar 52,1% dan sisanya sebesar 47,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan “kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru berpengaruh secara signinifikan terhadap mutu sekolah” dapat diterima. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to empirically examine relationship among transfrmasional leadership and teacher performance to school quality. The method used in this research is descriptice research with quantitative approach with sample include pricipals and teacher which amount 327 people at elementary scholl accredited A in Cianjur. Data sellection techniques using quisionnaires that was developed in the form of Likert Scale. Data processing techniques using regression analysis, the simple regression and multiple regression. The results of research show that principal’s transformational leadership to quality school at elementary school Acredited A in Cianjur as much as 0,700 and the contribution is 49%. Based on finding of the study it can be cocluded that the hypothesis the “principal transformational leadership significantly influence school quality” is acceptable. While the amount of influence on the quality of teacher performance in elementary school acredited A in Cianjur as much as 0,709, and the contribution is 50,2%. Based on the finding of the study it can be concluded that the hypothesis “the teacher performance significantly influence school quality” is acceptable. The effect of transformational leadership principals and teacher performance to school quality at school acredited A in Cianjur as much as 0,722 and the contribution is 52,1% and the rest by other factor. Based on the finding of the study it can be concluded that the hypothesis “the principals transformational leadership and teacher performance significantly influence school quality” is acceptable. - Abstract
Untuk itu penelitian ini memaparkan keterkaitan antara kapasitas manajemen terhadap pemasaran pendidikan yang dilakukan prodi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang didukung dengan studi dokumentasi serta angket sebagai alat pengumpul data utama dengan sampel penelitian ketua prodi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kecendrungan umum ketiga variabel dalam penelitian ini termasuk kategori tinggi. Begitupun dengan hasil uji korelasi ketiga variabel dalam penelitian ini yang menunjukkan tingkat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Sementara itu, nilai regresi kapasitas manajemen dan pemasaran pendidikan terhadap mutu pendidikan yang menunjukkan perubahan dengan arah positif. Hal ini sesuai dengan harga koefisien variabel kapasitas manajemen terhadap variabel mutu pendidikan cukup kuat, pemasaran pendidikan terhadap mutu pendiidkan cukup kuat, Kapasitas manajemen terhadap pemasaran pendidikan terhitung cukup rendah dan keduanya terhadap mutu pendidikan terhitung cukup rendah. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kapasitas manajemen dan pemasaran pendidikan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan. Kata kunci: Kapasitas manajemen, Pemasaran Pendidikan dan Mutu Pendidikan Abstract Therefore, this study elaborates the relation between management capacity towards education marketing performed by the departments. This study uses descriptive method with quantitative approach, and supported by documentation study. Specifically, the questionnaire was used as the main research instrument, with head of departments as the samples. Based on the calculation of general tendency, the three variables used in this study are considered high. Besides that, the result of correlation tests of these three variables shows a positive and significant relationship. Furthermore, the regression value of management capacity and education marketing toward education quality shows changes that lead to positive direction. It is in line with the following results: the coefficient value of management capacity towards education quality is quite strong, the coefficient value of education marketing toward education quality is quite strong, the coefficient value of the management capacity towards education marketing is quite low, and the coefficient value of both of them toward education quality is quite low. Based on those research findings, it can be concluded that management capacity and education marketing have significant influence toward education quality. Dunia kini dihadapkan pada berbagai perubahan yang cepat dan kompleks pada berbagai bidang kehidupan. Persaingan tidak lagi pada level regional, tetapi telah menjadi tantangan nasional bahkan internasional. Pasar bebas telah menampakan bentuknya dan semakin kukuh dengan diberlakukannya AFTA 2003. Realitas ini menuntut SDM memiliki “comparative dan competelive advantage”untuk dapat “survive"dan “exist” mensiasati kehidupan yang serba sulit dan “ tur bu lance”. Kecenderungan perkembangan kebutuhan dan tuntutan masyarakat Indonesia masa depan yang diantisipasi sebagai era teknologi, informasi dan globalisasi berakar pada mutu sumber daya manusia. System kehidupan social, ekonomi, politik, ilmu, teknologi, dan bahkan agama sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas SDM dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu manusia dituntut memiliki pribadi berkualitas yaitu pribadi utuh dan tangguh, memiliki keunggulan-keunggulan ilmu agar mampu menghadapi dan memecahkan masalah kehidupan yang dihadapi, mampu berkompetisi dan melakukan kemajuan-kemajuan. Kepribadian yang utuh dan tangguh didukung oleh keterpaduan dan keseimbangan dan kemampuan intelektual, social, emosional, moral, agama, fisik- motorik. Keunggulan profesional ditopang oleh penguasaan kemampuan dan keahlian dalam berbagai bidang profesi (Ro’in, 2001:1). Menghadapi dunia yang semakin kompleks dan cepat berubah, diperlukan adanya akselerasi untuk mengisi, mengimbangi dan mengejar berbagai ketinggalan, peluang dan tantangan global. Pendidikan merupakan akselerator melalui peran dan fungsinya dalam mengembangkan sumber daya manusia, meningkatkan kecerdasan dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Pendidikan tidak saja berfungsi sebagai pewarisan nilai-nilai budaya dalam konteks ilmu pengetahuan, tetapi juga menjadikan manusia bertahan dalam kehidupan lewat kreativitas kerja yang diciptakannya untuk tetap dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Dengan demikian pendidikan dituntut dapat mengembangkan dan menimbulkan motivasi berkreasi pada siswa terutama kreasi yang dapat menghasilkan sesuatu yang bernilai/berharga secara finansial. Moerdiono (1996) mengungkapkan bahwa pengembangan kreativitas serta prakarsa pada peserta didik mungkin merupakan tuntutan terbesar peran dunia pendidikan kita, sebab kemajuan akan pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sangat dinamis ditambah persaingan kompetitif memerlukan kreativitas dan prakarsa setiap peserta didik, anggota keluarga, dan anggota masyarakat. Kreativitas serta prakarsa tidak lahir dengan sendirinya akan tetapi dilahirkan melalui tatanan kehidupan masyarakat itu sendiri, yaitu melalui nilai-nilai budaya, agama, dan lingkungan dengan segala aktivitasnya. Apabila kreativitas dan prakarsa individu sejalan dengan orientasi kerja yang bersifat mandiri dan berkualitas yaitu memiliki keterampilan, disiplin, dan tanggungjawab serta mampu mengantisipasi kebutuhan dari buah kreativitas tersebut, maka dengan sendirinya potensi sumber daya alam (SDA) yang relatif banyak dapat memberikan peluang keija mandiri bagi sumber daya manusia (SDM). Adapun bentuk usahanya tidak selalu tergantung pada orang lain melainkan melalui keija mandiri bidang wiraswasta atau wirausaha. Broad Based Education (BBE) melalui pelaksanaan life skills berupaya mengakomodir tuntutan masyarakat akan pendidikan yang membekali siswa keterampilan kecakapan hidup melalui pendidikan berbasis luas, artinya pendidikan dapat memanfaatkan apa yang dimiliki lingkungan secara luas tidak saja hanya lingkungan sekitar tetapi juga wawasan global guna kepentingan eksplorasi pendidikan. Harapannya adalah pendidikan memiliki keleluasan mengembangkan programnya, masyarakat terakomodir dalam peran sertanya, serta lingkungan luas dapat terpikirkan untuk dieksplorasi pendidikan guna diperoleh outcome pendidikan yang sesuai dengan tuntutan, minat, sifat, dan kebutuhan peserta didik dan masyarakat pengguna.

This research aims to study and analyze in depth about improving the quality of lecturers in the learning process at the university which is focused on university policies and programs in improving lecturer qualifications and competencies in terms of seven quality elements. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach in 27 study programs at the University of Singaperbangsa Karawang, and involves elements of leadership, quality control units, lecturers and students as research participants. The results of this study indicate that the university has implemented policies and programs to improve the qualifications and competencies of lecturers, but overall the results have not shown superior quality in accordance with the quality standards of lecturers that have been set as a prerequisite in organizing a quality learning process at the university. Seven quality elements to improving lecturer qualifications and competencies namely quality philosophy, quality standards, quality policy objectives, quality structure, processes quality, quality control cycle and quality assessment, so that it increasingly meets the prerequisites for organizing a quality learning process.
