The article discusses the campaign of the U.S. labor union Progressive Educators for Action concerning the end of school privatization and creation of social justice public schools in February 2011. The union represents and promotes the welfare of teachers, students and parents who depend on a high-quality and truly public education. According to its members, the welfare of educators are weakened whenever communities and students are attacked through unjust education reform, racist policies and budget cuts.
