The article presents an analysis on the method of four phthalate monoesters in human urine with the use of high performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry detection. It highlights the multiple reactions monitoring models in the treatment of urine samples using solid-phase extraction columns. It also mentions the accurate quantitative method provided in assessing environmental toxicants and detecting of toxic phthalate esters in urine.
