Abstract
The article discusses the restoration of the papers of scholar and educator Samson Occom to Occom's Mohegan homeland in Connecticut from their previous location at Dartmouth College's Rauner Special Collections Library. Topics include an overview of the papers, the recommitment of Dartmouth to its founding intent to recruit and educate Native American and Indigenous students, and significance of returning the papers to Mohegan land.
