In this paper, we designed a new type of guardrail program with breakaway and energy-absorbing guardrail end terminals and used the dynamic simulation software Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems (ADAMS) to do simulation analysis of flexible collision. Accordingly, it can solve the disadvantage of domestic guardrail that used circular guardrail terminal heads, rigid connection and round steel posts which could cause fatal danger as follows: the inclined car will easily overturned, the head-on car will be pierced by the guardrail end terminals and this endangers the driver and passengers' lives, the rigid steel cylinders have not cushion effect so that the impact car will turn in jack-knife position and this causes the second collision and also endangers the driver and passengers' lives, so the former design of the guardrail couldn't have a good effect on protection. This paper provided with a scientific basis for the trial and the application of the guardrails.
