This paper analyses the digital ecosystem (DES), entrepreneurial ecosystem (EES) and economic development (ED) indicators as key determinants of digital technology entrepreneurship (DTE) across the globe. The correlation matrix depicts an important relationship between DTE, DES, EES and ED. Further, the partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS‐SEM) results show that DES and EES have a favourable and significant influence on the establishment of digital technology entrepreneurship (DTE) globally. However, the ED, though, has a positive and significant impact on EES and DES, not directly impacting DTE. Carrying out digital innovation is the main channel for enterprises to stimulate internal vitality and enhance core competitiveness in the digital economy era. Based on the Panel data of A‐share listed high‐tech enterprises from 2011 to 2020, this paper integrates digital strategy, executive incentive, and financial flexibility into the same analytical framework from an inter‐organizational perspective and uses the random effect Tobit model to study their direct or indirect effects on digital innovation. The research results indicate that digital strategy has a significant positive impact on digital innovation, while the indirect effect of diversified management weakens the positive impact of digital strategy, specifically manifested as the masking effect; executive incentives have a significant positive impact on digital innovation, while equity concentration negatively moderates the impact of executive incentives on digital innovation; financial flexibility has an inverted U‐shaped impact on digital innovation. Digital technology is an important tool to smooth the dual circulation. This paper empirically examines the impact of digital technology on the enterprise dual circulation and its mechanism based on the data of enterprises in ZGC from 2013 to 2019. It shows that digital technology can significantly promote enterprise dual circulation, and this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests. Mechanisms analyzed found that digital technology promotes enterprise dual circulation by unclogging blockages in the production, distribution, circulation, and consumption chain. Further research found that digital technology facilitates NSOEs more significantly than SOEs. Meanwhile, the application of e‐commerce, big data, cloud computing, mobile Internet, Internet finance, and Internet of Things promote more obviously compared with intelligent hardware. Focusing on digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises, this paper investigates the relationship between digital transformation and financial performance of manufacturing enterprises through descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, multilayer linear regression analysis, and group testing of the impact of digital transformation stages on the financial performance of enterprises, taking listed manufacturing companies that implement digital transformation as a sample. The research results show that there is a significant positive impact of digital transformation on financial performance of manufacturing enterprises; the more digitalized the information technology (IT) architecture is when enterprises undergo digital transformation, the closer to hybrid cloud platform + agile manufacturing, the higher the inventory turnover rate and total asset turnover rate of enterprises will be; in the early stage of digital transformation of enterprises, the profitability performance of enterprises will be reduced. However, as the digitalization process of enterprises deepens, the net sales margin and total asset return of enterprises will gradually increase, which may be due to the reason that the impact of enterprise digital transformation on profitability performance has a certain lag. The adoption of digital technologies in the modern business world stays fast‐moving, and managers underutilize the huge potentials entailed by digitalization. Literature concerning labor market developments proposes an assessment on work‐task level, to evaluate job automation susceptibility. The paper is based on this approach and further extends and details the existing models for the determination of efficiency potentials in the field of marketing and sales. Using a qualitative research design, a new descriptive model for tasks is first developed. In the current era of rapid digital development, the digital transformation of manufacturing has gradually become an inevitable trend in industry development, and the in‐depth study of the relationship between digitalization and competitive advantage has become an important topic in the field of management science. Based on data from Chinese‐listed manufacturing companies from 2012 to 2021, this paper uses empirical analysis to show that digitalization can effectively enhance the low‐cost competitive advantage and differentiation competitive advantage of manufacturing companies, with organizational slack and environmental uncertainty playing a moderating role in this process. The study also delves into the heterogeneity among firms of different scales, ownership characteristics, and life cycles. This research helps to examine the actual effectiveness of manufacturing companies in the process of digital transformation, while also providing a theoretical basis for how manufacturing companies can better acquire and maintain competitive advantages in the process of digitalization. Digitalization has reshaped the way of value co‐creation among innovation subjects, expanded the existing innovation ecosystem theories, and triggered the thinking about the digital innovation ecosystem. How to continuously promote value co‐creation between focal companies and non‐focal subjects within the digital innovation ecosystem to elevate the sustainable development of the system is an urgent issue to be solved. In this paper, we built a model of value co‐creation behavior evolution of focal companies and non‐focal subjects in the digital innovation ecosystem based on the complex network evolutionary game theory. The dynamic decision‐making process and critical factors of value co‐creation behavior of focal companies and non‐focal subjects were explored, and the emergence mechanism from micro‐behavior of value co‐creation to macro‐evolution was studied. The results showed that (1) increasing the variability of digital resources shared by focal companies and non‐focal subjects and the level of digital innovation benefits could promote value co‐creation in the system, but digital innovation ecosystems of different scales have various sensitivities to the variability of digital resources and the level of digital innovation benefits; (2) during the initial construction period of digital innovation ecosystems, the distribution of digital innovation benefits should be dominated by focal companies. With the expansion of the ecosystem, the focus of benefit distribution should gradually shift to non‐focal subjects. (3) In the evolution of the digital innovation ecosystem, focal companies should bear relatively more coordination costs of value co‐creation to promote the stable development of the system. (4) It is necessary to establish a punishment mechanism for opportunistic behavior, and the punishment should be gradually increased as the scale of digital innovation ecosystem expands. This study characterizes the digital innovation ecosystem with scale‐free networks in complex networks and constructs a complex network evolutionary game model to study the dynamic decision‐making process of value co‐creation behavior in the system, which makes up for the limitations of traditional evolutionary game research in which game subjects interact in a uniformly mixed manner and highlights the macroscopic phenomena emerging from the dynamic decision‐making of value co‐creation behavior of micro subjects. The research findings have important implications for the co‐creation of value by focal companies and non‐focal subjects in the digital innovation ecosystem and the sustainable development of the system. Digitally driven green high‐quality development is an essential way to realize Chinese‐style green modernization. This paper uses exploratory spatial data analysis, the spatial panel Durbin model, and the panel threshold model. The results show that the spatial correlation between substantive green innovation and digital industry agglomeration is significantly positive. Digital industry agglomeration has a positive spatial spillover effect on substantive green innovation. Under the adjustment of two mechanisms, digital industry agglomeration, and government innovation preference, the optimistic impact of digital industry agglomeration on substantive green innovation shows a "gradient" growth. The greening of enterprises concerning society is a matter of sustainable development of the economy. At the same time, the Internet brings technology diffusion and information transfer, which affects the greening of enterprises. Therefore, we empirically examine the impact of the Internet on greening from the perspective of green innovation and environmental violations based on the data of listed firms in China between 2010 and 2019. This paper found that the Internet effectively promotes green innovation and inhibits environmental violation, and governmental transparency positively moderates the relationship between the Internet and greening. We also conducted a series of robustness tests like a quasi‐natural experiment based on Broadband China and tested the impact of digital transformation on greening for further study. The increasing value of patents for innovation and the permeability of digital technologies have triggered patent digital platforms (PDPs) as a new business model of patent intermediaries. While current literature mainly focuses upon PDPs within a developed country, China shows unique features with a relatively unmatured patent market. This paper aims to explore conditional configurations that lead to the operational success of PDPs throughout China. The results indicate two configurational paths: "firm size driven" and "digital infrastructure and knowledge assets driven." Furthermore, environmental factors are peripheral conditions yet important. This paper investigates conditional configurations for improving high‐tech enterprises' new product development (NPD) performance under complex environment of digital era in China. The results indicate that digital transformation is neither sufficient nor necessary for high NPD performance but a significant component of those configurations for high NPD performance. Through the fuzzy‐set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) approach, four configurations for high NPD performance and four configurations for non‐high NPD performance are generated from complex nonlinear interactions among five antecedent conditions of NPD performance. In the new manufacturing area, the Chinese textile industry is facing the opportunities and challenges under the sustainable development model and advanced manufacturing technology. It is urgent to use digital technology to realize digital transformation. In this process, digital dynamic capability and digital innovation are significant for textile firms to achieve digital transformation performance. Drawing on the data from 367 questionnaires of Chinese textile firms, we apply multiple regression to examine how a firm's digital transformation is affected by adopting digital technology. A conceptual model based on framework of resource–capability–performance is developed to examine how adoption of digital technology, digital dynamic capability, and digital innovation orientation affects a firm's digital transformation performance. The results indicate that the positive relationship between digital technology adoption and digital transformation performance is less significant; this path is fully mediated through digital dynamic capability. Digital innovation orientation has a positive moderating effect and that the efficiency digital innovation has the most significant moderating effect among all digital innovation types. In addition, compared with textile firms in the low level of digital technology adoption, the firms in the high‐level group show a significant positive relationship between digital technology adoption and digital transformation performance. These findings confirm the validity of the model and contribute to existing literature on technology efforts in firms and provide guidelines to help managers implement informed decisions about digital transformation. Digital transformation has become a general trend for enterprises, and it is necessary to investigate the impact of government support on enterprises' digital transformation from the perspective of policy instruments. But so far, there is less empirical evidence on their relationship. Based on Chinese firm‐level data, we investigate the effects of government subsidies and tax incentives on enterprises' digital transformation. The results show that two forms of government support both positively promote enterprises' digital transformation. Moreover, we analyze which factors mediate the observed effects. We demonstrate that easing financial constraints, increasing Research and Development (R&D) investment, and improving risk‐taking ability are underlying mechanisms. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that enterprises that are non‐state‐owned, with higher technology level and higher absorptive capacity, have higher digital transformation. The higher the level of digital finance development and network infrastructure construction in a region, the greater the positive effect of government support on enterprises' digital transformation. This research examines the effect of companies' digital transformation on innovation by integrating factors of capital, labor, and technology into the framework, aiming to understand how the enterprises can leverage digital technology to improve absorptive capacity in the innovation process. We use archival data of digital transformation extracted from the annual reports by the methods of text mining and statistical word frequency to conduct large‐sample empirical research of Chinese listed companies. Drawing upon the sample of A‐share listed companies between 2007 and 2019, this article finds that digital transformation can improve both radical and incremental innovation. Further results reveal that the digital transformation has a more significant impact on innovation for companies in the labor‐intensive and technology‐intensive industries, which have more opportunities to utilize digital technology to improve absorptive capacity, and for the companies during the recession period, which lack absorptive capacity and thus can utilize the digital technology to improve absorptive capacity more significantly. Meanwhile, the results reveal that the impact of digital transformation in the industries driven by different factors on radical innovation and incremental innovation is heterogeneous. The choice of legal standards (LSs) in antitrust enforcement, to guide the assessment of potentially anticompetitive conduct, in order to decide whether there is liability or not, has been hotly debated for many years. The debate has gained in intensity in recent years as a result of the concerns expressed in many countries with the antitrust treatment of the major digital platforms. This article provides a detailed presentation of a new methodology for defining LSs along the continuum of LSs, depending on the screens assessed at different stages of the continuum. This is followed by a detailed formal examination of how all the pertinent factors that could influence error minimisation interact to determine the optimal LSs for different conducts and markets. This study examines how adopting advanced digital technologies (ADTs) affects a firm's performance indicators, such as growth in sales, labor productivity, and export, by analyzing Korean firms' panel data. This study finds that the effect of adopting ADTs on firm performance depends on the productivity level, performance types, and technology combination. The effect of adopting ADTs on sales growth has a U‐shaped relationship with the firm's productivity level. Drawing on the resource dependency view, we examine the impact of the regional digital economy on enterprise innovation. Using data on Chinese A‐share listed manufacturing firms between 2011 and 2019, we find that digital economy development is positively associated with enterprise innovation. In addition, the digital economy positively enhances enterprise digital transformation, and enterprise digital transformation has a significant positive effect on enterprise innovation. Thus, enterprise digital transformation partially mediates the relationship between the digital economy and enterprise innovation. Drawing from institutional arbitrage perspective and the view of organizational capability, we develop arguments showing how emerging‐market firms' (EMFs) innovation capabilities and digital transformation facilitate or constrain the importance of domestic institutional quality in their export activities. We use the data of Chinese firms collected from World Bank's Enterprise Survey database to test the research hypotheses. The results indicate that home country institutional constraints relate positively to export intensity.
