The present paper, based on an imagological type of analysis, tries to set into relief the necessity and importace of the dialogue in relation with the Other starting from the discussion of the mechanism of self-revealment. Using this mechanism the social corpus benefits of the opportunity to offer its audience the essential elements defining one's own identity so that the effect should be that of a total opening of the channels of communication with the Other (perceived as stranger), but also of articulating and harmonizing the relational patterns in society. Thus, the negative stereotypal images could gradually lose from their capacity of being transmitted over generations, slowly fading in a process that finally leads to the loss of their penetreating force in the collective mindscaspe, leading to repositioning and behavioural adjustments towards the other. Taking as point of departure in discussion an already „classical" example of negative stereotype, namely the image of the Jew, we have underlined once again the condamnable ease with which a whole nation can be stigmatized and subjected to incredible imagological pressure up to total diabolization. Juggling both real and fantastic, magical metamorphosis of the Romanian fairy tale hero (his own initiative, on demand or by chance), reveals (another) traditional literary innovation who tried (and might succeed it), to (re)connect archaic layers of culture and new horizons between the real (= an universe physically present, palpable, but conditioned, restricted / limited) and fantastic (= an free universe, unlimited by law, sizes, rules, own structures, who can be seen as an alternative to the reality of everyday life), between of their own cultural structures and universal ones. The (trans)corporale transformations in order to overcome a problem, otherwise hopeless, to whom the heroes of the Romanian fantastic tales are subjected to, turn to or to anticipate the final victory, outlines once again this type of universalist structure of Romanian fantastic tale. Therefore in this study, beyond the necessary classification of transformations on the human body of fairytale heroes, Fve taken into consideration a mythanalysis of the basis, from phenomenological and hermeneutical perspective, who give meaning and (ontological) motivation of such metamorphoses. The need to discover, capture and understand the complex mechanism of imaginary fantastic traditional Romanian tale, almost for a „pure imagination” (as expression of authors - L. Boia), pushed me to the „isolation” of such a topic. Conceptually, we tried to synthesize in these study, from a hermeneutic perspective, semiotics as an important element cosmogonical - water. From the general to the particular, from abstract to signifier / consacrate, from figured to objective, „presences” of this element cosmogonical claiming some kind of investigation. Without being (just) a cultural decoupage, and without pretending that we fixed structure of such a primordial element, my approach aimed especially writable constants, determinants and resultants (pure) ontological epic scope, a type of thought and symbolism mitofolcloric with permanent connection to the wider range of symbolic thinking. Therefore, categories are created by me somehow and especially in the light of the examples given for each category, a symbolic expression of the dimensions and connotations imagological they had or got water from the archaic traditional thinking, with particular transposition at the Romanian fantastic tale.
