Bocashi is an organic fermented fertilizer, originating from Japan, made from organic waste such as manure, straw, rice husk, charcoal, yeast, molasses, and rock dust. Its fermentation process takes two to three weeks, during which regular aeration is maintained to prevent unpleasant odors and toxic gases. Among its benefits enhances the physical and chemical properties of the soil by improving water retention, stimulating microbial activity. These benefits lead to healthier, more resilient crops and make Bocashi an important tool for organic agriculture, particularly on small-scale farms. On a global scale, Bocashi offers a practical solution for soil fertility recovery and food self-sufficiency, particularly in developing countries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
