Libraries and the activity of librarians show ethical implications in all their functional areas. This will be demonstrated by a couple of practical examples. Included are ethical conflicts and dilemmas with regard to collection building Internet access, and indexing as well as privacy and equal treatment or inclusion and integration of minorities.
