Abstract

The article focuses on the study conducted to three ferret-badgers (Melogale moschata) which aims to determine the existence of wildlife rabies in Taiwan, which is a canine rabies-free country, as of 2013. The study performed fluorescent antibody testing the Animal Health Research Institute and Council of Agriculture of Taiwan on July 16, 2013. It also discusses the small-scale palatability field trial conducted by the Council of Agriculture and the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
