Abstract

An interview with painter Robert Bordo is presented. Bordo talks about the recognition that he garnered from his eyeglasses paintings, the latest of which were included in the "Greater New York" survey of the MoMA PS1 institute. He explains the role played by the "self" in image-making. He discusses how viewers perceive not only his paintings but art works in general.
