A coelomycetous genus, Pseudophragmotrichum gen. nov., with the type species P. cubense sp. nov., is described from dead culms of Oncidium lucidum from Cuba. It differs from other coelomycete genera in having intercalary conidiogenous cells, thallic conidiogenesis and flattened conidia.

Three fungicolous hyphomycetes are described and illustrated. Anastomyces gen. nov., with the type species A. microsporus sp. nov., is described on ascomata of Apiosopora sp. on dead culms of a grass from China. It differs from comparable genera by its fungicolous habitat, sporodochial conidiomata and polylocal conidiogenous cells mostly with 2 loci. Each locus produces one conidium but two conidia formed from the same conidiogenous cells join together to form H-shaped conidia in the earliest stages of their development. Idriella rhododendri sp. nov. grows over other microfungi and is described from leaf litter of Rhododendron ponticum from England. Infundibura adhaerens was found to be commonly associated with ascomata and conidiomata on dead leaves of R. ponticum in England.

Species of Septoria on Hebe and Veronica are revised and 4 taxa are accepted, including 2 species of Septoria, S. exotica (syn. S. exotica var. andersonii, ?S. exotica var. beccabungae ) and S. veronicae (syn. S. triphylli, S. veronicae var. cotyledonicola, S. veronicae var. major, S. veronicae var. spicatae, ?S. exotica var. beccabungae ), Kirramyces hebes sp. nov., and Pseudocercospora veronicicola (Karsten) comb. nov. (syn. S. veronicicola ).

Two species of Coleophoma occurring on leaves of Rhododendron spp. are described and illustrated. One of them, C. fusiformis sp. nov., is differentiated by its wide fusiform conidia, and its parasitic strategy on living leaves of R. ponticum.

A species of Dactylaria was isolated as an endophyte from a living symptomless leaf of Prunus lusitanica. It was compared and contrasted with similar species and concluded to be an undescribed taxon, D. endophytica sp. nov.
