We have found that UiO-66-NH2 can be used as an excellent support for the synthesis of highly sparse nanoparticles. UiO-66-NH2 has a high surface area that was functionalized with tetrathia-azacyclopentadecane (TTACP) groups acting as strong conjugation sites so that Ni@Pd nanoparticles were well dispersed without aggregation on the structures of the UiO-66-NH2 microspheres (UiO-66-NH2/TTACP/Ni@Pd). The synthesized UiO-66-NH2/TTACP/Ni@Pd magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) exhibited excellent catalytic activity for the reduction of 2-nitroaniline and 4-nitrophenol. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Various morphologies of a nano CuAl2O4 fiber microsphere were produced through diverse synthesis situations. The findings showed that the morphology, anatomy, and quantity of the fibers in the CuAl2O4 product are vigorously correlated with the various mechanical pressures, calcination, and hydrothermal processing time. Subsequent research has also shown that the best type of sample offers a variety of catalytic functions for carbocarboxylation of styrenes deploying CO2 and amines by reducing the efficiency of dandelion-like CuAl2O4 fiber anatomy. The reaction is catalyzed by the photoredox catalyst and is adaptable with various amines and styrenes. This approach provides extremely functionalized γ-amino acids in satisfactory efficiencies with extreme regioselectivity. The reported synthesis is the first example of visible light induced synthesis of a γ-amino acid from CO2 and includes several advantages like environmentally benign reaction conditions, a minimum amount of catalyst due to fiber structure, cost effectiveness, operational simplicity, short reaction times, excellent yields, and high atom economy, making it a genuinely green protocol. Herein, fibrous rhodium (Rh) was engineered using a microemulsion system. In this study, we report the design and synthesis of high-surface-area rhodium using Na3RhCl6. The fibrous rhodium nanocatalyst was thoroughly characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and a N2 adsorption/desorption study. Due to the large ionic internal character, high mechanical and thermal stability as well as long-term colloidal stability, this system could be considered as a perfect nanocatalyst using the host–guest approach. Fibrous rhodium NPs were highly active for the catalytic hydrogenation of carbon dioxide with a 1 M KOH solution at 70 °C using 1 : 1 partial pressure of pCO2/pH2 and provided a high yield of 97% in 12 h; moreover, the influences of all the catalytic parameters and the reusability of the catalyst were investigated; the catalyst offers high activity and strong potential for application in the carbon dioxide reaction in aqueous media with an affordable metal source and molecular hydrogen. In this study, a novel ionic gelation (IG) of sodium tripolyphosphate (TPP) and spirulina was prepared that, supported on magnetic fibrous silica nanospheres (Fe3O4/KCC-1/IG), has been developed for the synthesis of N-[(2-hydroxyethoxy)carbonyl]glycine from carbon dioxide, ethylene oxide, and α-amino acid. This morphology ultimately leads to higher catalytic activity for the KCC-1-supported ionic gelation. The Fe3O4/KCC-1/IG MNPs were thoroughly characterized by using TEM, FESEM, VSM, FT-IR, TGA, and BET. We supported an ionic gelation on the surface of silica and used spirulina and TPP as a catalyst; the observations were exploited in the direct and selective chemical fixation of CO2 to afford high degrees of CO2 capture and conversion. Compared to epoxides, converting carbon dioxide (CO2) to cyclic carbonates is proposed as the most appropriate way to synthesize C1 building blocks. In this study, a Pd(II) Schiff base complex is fixed on FeNi3/DFNS nanoparticles and then reacted with melamine to provide a recoverable magnetic heterogeneous nanocomposite of FeNi3/DFNS/salen/Pd(II). It was determined that the FeNi3/DFNS nanoparticles are an appropriate catalyst for the oxidation carboxylation of styrenes with CO2 in a one-step reaction. The FeNi3/DFNS nanoparticles were characterized via XPS, FTIR, EDX, FE-SEM, XRD, TGA, TEM, IC, VSM and BET analyses.
