The article focuses on the author's views on the lawsuit involving Lewis Libby, the former chief of staff and national security adviser to U.S. Vice President Richard B. Cheney. Libby had been accused and convicted of lying about disclosing the identity of an undercover agent of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. The author says that Libby's trials was confusing as the charges filed against him were not proved properly.
