In their editorial on the challenges to well-being faced by academic staff in the UK, Kinman and Wray [[1]] highlight work changes imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic in this sector. In addition, Weisman I et al. i [[5]] found that tattoo artists and dental workers have similar musculoskeletal pain patterns. If their conclusions are correct, the readership might consider the much greater expected stressors experienced by front-line workers, not to mention those who lost their jobs or had their professions/businesses restricted by pandemic regulations and lockdowns.
