Mon réseau® cancer du sein is a social network launched in July 2014. It is dedicated to patients with breast cancer and their relatives. The website Mon réseau® cancer du sein was developed on the basis of personal experiences in the frame of the association Patients en réseau, which gather breast cancer patients and their relatives. The concrete daily needs of the patients during their treatment are at the heart of the project. Mon réseau® cancer du sein is a free and secured social website designed to encourage patients to share their experiences and to support exchanges between patients or between relatives. By providing access to professionals, associations, and care givers specific to their needs, patients benefit from a close network of information and practical, daily support. The objectives of the accompaniment of cancer patients at home must be designed to answer as quickly as possible the multitude of their time-dependent questions and needs. To be effective, health care pathway has to be supported by the information transversally delivered and the interaction between physicians, other close caregivers, and relatives. This objective is clearly presented in the Cancer Plan 3 and in the project of the next Health Act project, based on new structures of territorial coordination. With the agreement of the Regional Agency of Health, we propose to develop a regional project entitled 'Territorial Coordination and Abilities in Cancerology,' concerning mainly medical and social problems; and a complementary proposal, 'Cancer Solidarity Life' targeting the daily and personal life of the cancer patients and their close relatives. The aim is to guarantee the autonomy of the patients and to help the caregivers. It appears as an urgent need to develop a social network platform combining human and numeric resources.
