The aqueducts that fed Poitiers during the antiquity have been the subject of various studies since the nineteenth century, but none has proposed a precise plan or a real description in detail of the various arrangements constituting the works (outside the underground conduits) : bridge, aqueduct walls, spillways. A collective research project was set up in 2015 to complete these data by a complete study and a topographic survey of the elements still visible, achieved by photogrammetric surveys of the most important elements. This work is also based on a Geographic Information System (GIS). This topographical Atlas of the ancient aqueducts of Poitiers aims to publish a synthesis in a monograph within two years., Les aqueducs qui alimentaient Poitiers durant l’Antiquité ont fait l’objet de diverses études depuis le XIXe s., mais aucune n’a proposé de plan précis, ni de description détaillée des différents aménagements constituant les ouvrages (en dehors des conduits souterrains) tels que les ponts-aqueducs, les murs-bahuts ou les déversoirs. Un projet collectif de recherche a été mis en place en 2015 afin de compléter ces données par une étude complète et un relevé topographique des éléments encore visibles des différents conduits, associé à des relevés photogrammétriques des parties les plus importantes. Ce travail s’appuie également sur un Système d’information géographique (SIG).
