An optimization algorithm based on the LMPEC algorithm is proposed to rectify the nameplate image to address the problem that overexposure and underexposure of the nameplate image of electrical equipment will make subsequent nameplate recognition difficult. In the network structure, the PS-UNet++ network is based on the sub-pixel convolution upsampling module, and the UNet++ network is constructed as the feature extraction sub-network of the optimization algorithm to extract more detailed information from the model. Smooth L1 loss is substituted for L1 loss in the loss function to prevent model oscillation. In addition, to increase the robustness of the model, an improved method built on the multi-scale training method is applied. The experimental results indicate that, among all comparison algorithms, the optimized algorithm performs the best on the data set of electrical equipment nameplate exposure the experimenter generated. Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks are causing a lot of damage to critical organizations and institutions. Therefore, early detection and warning of APT attack campaigns are very necessary today. In this paper, we propose a new approach for APT attack detection based on the combination of Feature Intelligent Extraction (FIE) and Representation Learning (RL) techniques. In particular, the proposed FIE technique is a combination of the Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) deep learning network and the Attention network. The FIE combined model has the function of aggregating and extracting unusual behaviors of APT IPs in network traffic. The RL method proposed in this study aims to optimize classifying APT IPs and normal IPs based on two main techniques: rebalancing data and contrastive learning. Specifically, the rebalancing data method supports the training process by rebalancing the experimental dataset. And the contrastive learning method learns APT IP's important features based on finding and pulling similar features together as well as pushing contrasting data points away. The combination of FIE and RL (abbreviated as the FIERL model) is a novel proposal and innovation and has not been proposed and published by any research. The recognition of food images is of great significance for nutrition monitoring, food retrieval and food recommendation. However, the accuracy of recognition had not been high enough due to the complex background of food images and the characteristics of small inter-class differences and large intra-class differences. To solve these problems, this paper proposed a food image recognition method based on transfer learning and ensemble learning. Firstly, generic image features were extracted by using the convolutional neural network models (VGG19, ResNet50, MobileNet V2, AlexNet) pre-trained on the ImageNet dataset. Secondly, the 4 pre-trained models were transferred to the food image dataset for model fine-tuning. Finally, different basic learner combination strategies were adopted to establish the ensemble model and classify feature information. In this paper, several kinds of experiments were performed to compare the results of food image recognition between single models and ensemble models on food-11 dataset. The experimental results demonstrated that the accuracy of the ensemble model was the highest, reaching 96.88%, which was superior to any base learner. Therefore, the convolutional neural network model based on transfer learning and ensemble learning has strong learning ability and generalization ability, and it is feasible and practical to apply the method to food image recognition. To overcome the problem of the high initial position of the point cloud required by the traditional Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm, in this paper, we propose a point cloud registration method based on normal vector and directional histogram features (SHOT). Firstly, a hybrid filtering method based on the voxel idea is proposed and verified using the measured point cloud data, and the noise removal rates of 97.5%, 97.8%, and 93.8% are obtained. Secondly, in terms of feature point extraction, the original algorithm is optimized, and the optimized algorithm can better extract the missing part of the point cloud. Finally, a fine alignment method based on normal vector and directional histogram features (SHOT) is proposed, and the improved algorithm is compared with the existing algorithm. Taking the Stanford University point cloud data and the self-measured point cloud data as examples, the plotted iteration-error plots can be concluded that the improved method can reduce the number of iterations by 40.23% and 37.62%, respectively. Road crack detection is one of the important parts of road safety detection. Aiming at the problems such as weak segmentation effect of basic U-Net on pavement crack, insufficient precision of crack contour segmentation, difficult to identify narrow crack and low segmentation accuracy, this paper proposes an improved U-net network pavement crack segmentation method. VGG16 and Up_Conv (Upsampling Convolution) modules are introduced as backbone network and feature enhancement network respectively, and the more abstract features in the image are extracted by using the Block depth separable convolution blocks, and the multi-scale features are captured and enhanced by higher level semantic information to improve the recognition accuracy of narrow cracks in the road surface. The improved network embedded the Ca(Channel Attention) attention mechanism in U-net's jump connection to enhance the crack portion to suppress background noise. At the same time, DG_Conv(Depthwise GSConv Convolution) module and UnetUp(Unet Upsampling) module are added in the decoding part to extract richer features through more convolutional layers in the network, so that the model pays more attention to the detailed part of the crack, so the segmentation accuracy can be improved. In order to verify the model's ability to detect cracks in complex backgrounds, experiments were carried out on CFD and Deepcrack datasets. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional U-net network F1-score and mIoU have increased by 13.6% and 9.9% respectively. Superior to advanced models such as U-net, Segnet and Linknet in accuracy and generalization ability, the improved model provides a new method for asphalt pavement crack detection. With the increasing applications of traffic scene image classification in intelligent transportation systems, there is a growing demand for improved accuracy and robustness in this classification task. However, due to weather conditions, time, lighting variations, and annotation costs, traditional deep learning methods still have limitations in extracting complex traffic scene features and achieving higher recognition accuracy. The previous classification methods for traffic scene images had gaps in multi-scale feature extraction and the combination of frequency domain, spatial, and channel attention. To address these issues, this paper proposes a multi-scale and multi-attention model based on Res2Net. Our proposed framework introduces an Adaptive Feature Refinement Pyramid Module (AFRPM) to enhance multi-scale feature extraction, thus improving the accuracy of traffic scene image classification. Additionally, we integrate frequency domain and spatial-channel attention mechanisms to develop recognition capabilities for complex backgrounds, objects of different scales, and local details in traffic scene images. The paper conducts the task of classifying traffic scene images using the Traffic-Net dataset. Frequent occlusion of tracking targets leads to poor performance of tracking algorithms. A common practice in multi-target tracking algorithms is to re-identify the occluded tracking targets, which increases the number of identity switching occurrences. This paper focuses on online multi-object tracking and designs an anti-occlusion, robust association strategy, and feature extraction model. Specifically, the least squares algorithm and the Kalman filter are used to predict the trajectory of the tracking target, while the two-way self-attention mechanism is employed to extract the features of the tracking target, as well as positive and negative samples. After the tracking target is occluded, the association strategy is used to assign the identity information from before the occlusion. Android malware is becoming more common, and its invasion of smart devices has brought immeasurable losses to people's lives. Most existing Android malware detection methods extract Android features from the original application files without considering the high-order hidden information behind them, but these hidden information can reflect malicious behaviors. To solve this problem, this paper proposes Z2F, a detection framework based on multidimensional Android feature extraction and graph neural networks for Android applications. Z2F first extracts seven types of Android features from the original Android application and then embeds them into a heterogeneous graph. On this basis, we design 12 kinds of meta-structures to analyze different semantic spaces of heterogeneous graphs, mine high-order hidden semantic information, and adopt a multi-layer graph attention mechanism to iteratively embed and update information. Silkworms are insects with important economic value, and mulberry leaves are the food of silkworms. The quality and quantity of mulberry leaves have a direct impact on cocooning. Mulberry leaves are often infected with various diseases during the growth process. Because of the subjectivity and time-consuming problems in artificial identification of mulberry leaf diseases. In this work, a multi-scale residual network fusion Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks (SENet) is proposed for mulberry leaf disease recognition. The mulberry leaf disease dataset was expanded by performing operations such as brightness enhancement, contrast enhancement, level flipping and adding Gaussian noise. Multi-scale convolution was used instead of the traditional single-scale convolution, allowing the network to be widened to obtain more feature information and avoiding the overfitting phenomenon caused by the network piling up too deep. SENet was introduced into the residual network to enhance the extraction of key feature information of the model, thus improving the recognition accuracy of the model. The experimental results showed that the method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the recognition performance of the model. The recognition accuracy reached 98.72%. The recall and F1 score were 98.73% and 98.72% respectively. Traditional optical flame detectors (OFDs) in flame detection are susceptible to environmental interference, which will inevitably cause detection errors and miscalculations when confronted with a complex environment. The conventional deep learning-based models can mitigate the interference of complex environments by flame image feature extraction, which significantly improves the precision of flame recognition. However, these models focus on identifying the general profile of the static flame, but neglect to effectively locate the source of the dynamic flame. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel dynamic flame detection method named Dynamic Deformable Adaptive Framework (DDAF) for locating the flame root region dynamically. Specifically, to address limitations in flame feature extraction of existing detection models, the Deformable Convolution Network v2 (DCNv2) is introduced for more flexible adaptation to the deformations and scale variations of target objects. The Context Augmentation Module (CAM) is used to convey flame features into Dynamic Head (DH) to feature extraction from different aspects. Subsequently, the Layer-Adaptive Magnitude-based Pruning (LAMP) where the connection with the smallest LAMP score is pruned sequentially is employed to further enhance the speed of model detection. More importantly, both the coarse- and fine-grained location techniques are designed in the Inductive Modeling (IM) to accurately delineate the flame root region for effective fire control. Additionally, the Temporal Consistency-based Detection (TCD) contributes to improving the robustness of model detection by leveraging the temporal information presented in consecutive frames of a video sequence. Compared with the classical deep learning method, the experimental results on the custom flame dataset demonstrate that the AP0.5 value is improved by 4.4%, while parameters and FLOPs are reduced by 25.3% and 25.9%, respectively. With the widespread use of UAVs, UAV aerial image target detection technology can be used for practical applications in the military, traffic planning, personnel search and rescue and other fields. In this paper, we propose a multi-scale UAV aerial image detection method based on adaptive feature fusion for solving the problem of detecting small target objects in UAV aerial images. This method automatically adjusts the convolution kernel receptive field and reduces the redundant background of the image by adding an adaptive feature extraction module (AFEM) to the backbone network. This enables it to obtain more accurately and effectively small target feature information. In addition, we design an adaptive feature weighted fusion network (SBiFPN) to effectively enhance the representation of shallow feature information of small targets. Finally, we add an additional small target detection scale to the original network to expand the receptive field of the network and strengthen the detection of small target objects. The training and testing are carried out on the VisDrone public dataset. The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve 38.5% mAP, which is 2.0% higher than the baseline network YOLOv5s, and can still detect the UAV aerial image well in complex scenes. Mitosis is the process by which eukaryotic cells divide to produce two similar daughter cells with identical genetic material. Research into the process of mitosis is therefore of critical importance both for the basic understanding of cell biology and for the clinical approach to manifold pathologies resulting from its malfunctioning, including cancer. In this paper, we propose an approach to study mitotic progression automatically using deep learning. We used neural networks to predict different mitosis stages. We extracted video sequences of cells undergoing division and trained a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) to extract image features. The use of RNN enabled better extraction of features. The RNN-based approach gave better performance compared to classifier based feature extraction methods which do not use time information. Evaluation of precision, recall, and F-score indicates the superiority of the proposed model compared to the baseline. To study the loss in performance due to confusion between adjacent classes, we plotted the confusion matrix as well. In addition, we visualized the feature space to understand why RNNs are better at classifying the mitosis stages than other classifier models, which indicated the formation of strong clusters for the different classes, clearly confirming the advantage of the proposed RNN-based approach. Brain extraction is an important prerequisite for the automated diagnosis of intracranial lesions and determines, to a certain extent, the accuracy of subsequent lesion identification, localization, and segmentation. To address the problem that the current traditional image segmentation methods are fast in extraction but poor in robustness, while the Full Convolutional Neural Network (FCN) is robust and accurate but relatively slow in extraction, this paper proposes an adaptive mask-based brain extraction method, namely AMBBEM, to achieve brain extraction better. The method first uses threshold segmentation, median filtering, and closed operations for segmentation, generates a mask for the first time, then combines the ResNet50 model, region growing algorithm, and image properties analysis to further segment the mask, and finally complete brain extraction by multiplying the original image and the mask. The algorithm was tested on 22 test sets containing different lesions, and the results showed MPA = 0.9963, MIoU = 0.9924, and MBF = 0.9914, which were equivalent to the extraction effect of the Deeplabv3+ model. However, the method can complete brain extraction of approximately 6.16 head CT images in 1 second, much faster than Deeplabv3+, U-net, and SegNet models. In summary, this method can achieve accurate brain extraction from head CT images more quickly, creating good conditions for subsequent brain volume measurement and feature extraction of intracranial lesions. This paper introduces a method aiming at enhancing the efficacy of speaker identification systems within challenging acoustic environments characterized by noise and reverberation. The methodology encompasses the utilization of diverse feature extraction techniques, including Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs) and discrete transforms, such as Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Discrete Sine Transform (DST), and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Additionally, an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) serves as the classifier for this method. Reverberation is modeled using varying-length comb filters, and its impact on pitch frequency estimation is explored via the Auto Correlation Function (ACF). This paper also contributes to the field of cancelable speaker identification in both open and reverberation environments. The proposed method depends on comb filtering at the feature level, deliberately distorting MFCCs. This distortion, incorporated within a cancelable framework, serves to obscure speaker identities, rendering the system resilient to potential intruders. Three systems are presented in this work; a reverberation-affected speaker identification system, a system depending on cancelable features through comb filtering, and a novel cancelable speaker identification system within reverbration environments. The findings revealed that, in both scenarios with and without reverberation effects, the DWT-based features exhibited superior performance within the speaker identification system. To accurately locate faulty components in analog circuits, an analog circuit fault diagnosis method based on Tunable Q-factor Wavelet Transform(TQWT) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the Grey Wolf algorithm (GWO) is used to improve the TQWT. The improved TQWT can adaptively determine the parameters Q-factor and decomposition level. Secondly, The signal is decomposed, and single-branch reconstruction is conducted with TQWT to facilitate adequate feature extraction. Thirdly, to capture the time-frequency features in the signal, a CNN-LSTM network is built by combining CNN and LSTM for feature extraction. Finally, CNN, which introduces Fully Convolutional Network (FCN) layers and a Batch Normalization layer, is used to fault diagnosis. The method was comprehensively evaluated with a second-order bandpass filter circuit. Computer networks face vulnerability to numerous attacks, which pose significant threats to our data security and the freedom of communication. This paper introduces a novel intrusion detection technique that diverges from traditional methods by leveraging Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) for both data preprocessing and feature extraction. The proposed process is based on the following steps: (1) training the data using RNNs, (2) extracting features from their hidden layers, and (3) applying various classification algorithms. This methodology offers significant advantages and greatly differs from existing intrusion detection practices. The effectiveness of our method is demonstrated through trials on the Network Security Laboratory (NSL) and Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC) 2017 datasets, where the application of RNNs for intrusion detection shows substantial practical implications. Specifically, we achieved accuracy scores of 99.6% with Decision Tree, Random Forest, and CatBoost classifiers on the NSL dataset, and 99.8% and 99.9%, respectively, on the CIC 2017 dataset. By reversing the conventional sequence of training data with RNNs and then extracting features before applying classification algorithms, our approach provides a major shift in intrusion detection methodologies. Time series data complexity presents new challenges in clustering analysis across fields such as electricity, energy, industry, and finance. Despite advances in representation learning and clustering with Variational Autoencoders (VAE) based deep learning techniques, issues like the absence of discriminative power in feature representation, the disconnect between instance reconstruction and clustering objectives, and scalability challenges with large datasets persist. This paper introduces a novel deep time series clustering approach integrating VAE with metric learning. It leverages a VAE based on Gated Recurrent Units for temporal feature extraction, incorporates metric learning for joint optimization of latent space representation, and employs the sum of log likelihoods as the clustering merging criterion, markedly improving clustering accuracy and interpretability. Experimental findings demonstrate a 27.16% improvement in average clustering accuracy and a 47.15% increase in speed on industrial load data. Infrared target detection is widely used in industrial fields, such as environmental monitoring, automatic driving, etc., and the detection of weak targets is one of the most challenging research topics in this field. Due to the small size of these targets, limited information and less surrounding contextual information, it increases the difficulty of target detection and recognition. To address these issues, this paper proposes YOLO-ISTD, an improved method for infrared small target detection based on the YOLOv5-S framework. Firstly, we propose a feature extraction module called SACSP, which incorporates the Shuffle Attention mechanism and makes certain adjustments to the CSP structure, enhancing the feature extraction capability and improving the performance of the detector. Secondly, we introduce a feature fusion module called NL-SPPF. By introducing an NL-Block, the network is able to capture richer long-range features, better capturing the correlation between background information and targets, thereby enhancing the detection capability for small targets. Lastly, we propose a modified K-means clustering algorithm based on Distance-IoU (DIoU), called K-means_DIOU, to improve the accuracy of clustering and generate anchors suitable for the task. Additionally, modifications are made to the detection heads in YOLOv5-S. The original 8, 16, and 32 times downsampling detection heads are replaced with 4, 8, and 16 times downsampling detection heads, capturing more informative coarse-grained features. This enables better understanding of the overall characteristics and structure of the targets, resulting in improved representation and localization of small targets. Experimental results demonstrate significant achievements of YOLO-ISTD on the NUST-SIRST dataset, with an improvement of 8.568% in mAP@0.5 and 8.618% in mAP@0.95. Binary code similarity detection plays a crucial role in various applications within binary security, including vulnerability detection, malicious software analysis, etc. However, existing methods suffer from limited differentiation in binary embedding representations across different compilation environments, lacking dynamic high-level semantics. Moreover, current approaches often neglect multi-level semantic feature extraction, thereby failing to acquire precise semantic information about the binary code. To address these limitations, this paper introduces a novel detection solution called BinBcla. This method employs an enhanced pre-training model to generate instruction embeddings with dynamic semantics for binary functions. Subsequently, multi-feature fusion technique is utilized to extract local semantic information and long-distance global features from the code, respectively, employing self-attention to comprehend the structure information of the code. Finally, an improved cosine similarity method is employed to learn relationships among all elements of the distance vectors, thereby enhancing the model's robustness to new sample functions. The identification research of hydrogenation catalyst information has always been one of the most important businesses in the chemical industry. In order to aid researchers in efficiently screening high-performance catalyst carriers and tackle the pressing challenge at hand, it is imperative to find a solution for the intelligent recognition of hydrogenation catalyst images. To address the issue of low recognition accuracy caused by adhesion and stacking of hydrogenation catalysts, An image recognition algorithm of hydrogenation catalyst based on FPNC Net was proposed in this paper. In the present study, Resnet50 backbone network was used to extract the features, and spatially-separable convolution kernel was used to extract the multi-scale features of catalyst fringe. In addition, to effectively segment the adhesive regions of stripes, FPN (Feature Pyramid Network) is added to the backbone network for deep and shallow feature fusion. Introducing an attention module to adaptively adjust weights can effectively highlight the target features of the catalyst. The experimental results showed that the FPNC Net model achieved an accuracy of 94.2% and an AP value improvement of 19.37% compared to the original CenterNet model. Automatic Urdu handwritten text recognition is a challenging task in the OCR industry. Unlike printed text, Urdu handwriting lacks a uniform font and structure. This lack of uniformity causes data inconsistencies and recognition issues. Different writing styles, cursive scripts, and limited data make Urdu text recognition a complicated task. Major languages, such as English, have experienced advances in automated recognition, whereas low-resource languages, such as Urdu, still lag. Transformer-based models are promising for automated recognition in high- and low-resource languages such as Urdu. This paper presents a transformer-based method called ET-Network that integrates self-attention into EfficientNet for feature extraction and a transformer for language modeling. The use of self-attention layers in EfficientNet helps to extract global and local features that capture long-range dependencies. These features proceeded into a vanilla transformer to generate text, and a prefix beam search is used for the finest outcome. NUST-UHWR, UPTI2.0, and MMU-OCR-21 are three datasets used to train and test the ET Network for a handwritten Urdu script. A crucial part of sentiment classification is featuring extraction because it involves extracting valuable information from text data, which affects the model's performance. The goal of this paper is to help in selecting a suitable feature extraction method to enhance the performance of sentiment analysis tasks. In order to provide directions for future machine learning and feature extraction research, it is important to analyze and summarize feature extraction techniques methodically from a machine learning standpoint. There are several methods under consideration, including Bag-of-words (BOW), Word2Vector, N-gram, Term Frequency- Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), Hashing Vectorizer (HV), and Global vector for word representation (GloVe). To prove the ability of each feature extractor, we applied it to the Twitter US airlines and Amazon musical instrument reviews datasets. Finally, we trained a random forest classifier using 70% of the training data and 30% of the testing data, enabling us to evaluate and compare the performance using different metrics. Based on our results, we find that the TD-IDF technique demonstrates superior performance, with an accuracy of 99% in the Amazon reviews dataset and 96% in the Twitter US airlines dataset. Vehicle re-identification (Re-ID) is a challenging task that aims to recognize the same vehicle across different non-overlapping cameras. Existing attention mechanism-based methods for vehicle Re-ID often suffer from significant intra-class variation and inter-class variation due to various factors such as illumination, occlusion, viewpoint, etc. In this paper, we propose a novel network architecture for vehicle Re-ID, named Dimensional Decoupling Strategy and Non-local Relationship Network (DMNR-Net), which uses three modules to extract complementary features: global feature extraction module, non-local relationship capture module(NRCM), and dimensional decoupling module (DDS). The global feature extraction module captures complete and coarse-grained features from the whole image; the NRCM module extracts saliency information from feature maps in both spatial and channel dimensions; and the DDS decouples spatial and channel features into two branches to extract fine-grained features and focus on specific subspaces. In order to improve the detection performance of image fusion in focus areas and realize end-to-end decision diagram optimization, we design a multi-focus image fusion network based on deep learning. The network is trained using unsupervised learning and a multi-scale hybrid attention residual network model is introduced to enable solving for features at different levels of the image. In the training stage, multi-scale features are extracted from two source images with different focal points using hybrid multi-scale residual blocks (MSRB), and the up-down projection module (UDP) is introduced to obtain multi-scale edge information, then the extracted features are operated to obtain deeper image features. These blocks can effectively utilize multi-scale feature information without increasing the number of parameters. The deep features of the image are extracted in its test phase, input to the spatial frequency domain to calculate and measure the activity level and obtain the initial decision map, and use post-processing techniques to eliminate the edge errors. Finally, the decision map is generated and optimized, and the final fused image is obtained by combining the optimized decision map with the source image. The comparative experiments show that our proposed model achieves better fusion performance in subjective evaluation, and the quality of the obtained fused images is more robust with richer details. Hazardous chemical vehicles are specialized vehicles used for transporting flammable gases, medical waste, and liquid chemicals, among other dangerous chemical substances. During their transportation, there are risks of fire, explosion, and leakage of hazardous materials, posing serious threats to human safety and the environment. To mitigate these possible hazards and decrease their probability, this study proposes a lightweight object detection method for hazardous chemical vehicles based on the YOLOv7-tiny model.The method first introduces a lightweight feature extraction structure, E-GhostV2 network, into the trunk and neck of the model to achieve effective feature extraction while reducing the burden of the model. Additionally, the PConv is used in the model's backbone to effectively reduce redundant computations and memory access, thereby enhancing efficiency and feature extraction capabilities. Furthermore, to address the problem of performance degradation caused by overemphasizing high-quality samples, the model adopts the WIoU loss function, which balances the training effect of high-quality and low-quality samples, enhancing the model's robustness and generalization performance. Alzheimer's disease is the most prevalent form of dementia, which is a gradual condition that begins with mild memory loss and progresses to difficulties communicating and responding to the environment. Recent advancements in neuroimaging techniques have resulted in large-scale multimodal neuroimaging data, leading to an increased interest in using deep learning for the early diagnosis and automated classification of Alzheimer's disease. This study uses machine learning (ML) methods to determine the severity level of Alzheimer's disease using MRI images, where the dataset consists of four levels of severity. A hybrid of 12 feature extraction methods is used to diagnose Alzheimer's disease severity, and six traditional machine learning methods are applied, including decision tree, K-nearest neighbor, linear discrimination analysis, Naïve Bayes, support vector machine, and ensemble learning methods. During training, optimization is performed to obtain the best solution for each classifier. Additionally, a CNN model is trained using a machine learning system algorithm to identify specific patterns. Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) have become an immensely popular tool for health assessment and fault diagnosis of rolling element bearings. The advantages of an HMM include its simplicity, robustness, and interpretability, while the generalization capability of the model still needs to be enhanced. The Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence can be used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation, and Stacking provides a novel training strategy. Therefore, the HMM-based fusion method and ensemble learning method are proposed to increase the credibility of quantitative analysis and optimize classifiers respectively. This work investigates whether inclusion of the low-frequency components of heart sounds can increase the accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis of cardiovascular disorders. We standardized the measurement method to minimize changes in signal characteristics. We used the Continuous Wavelet Transform to analyze changing frequency characteristics over time and to allocate frequencies appropriately between the low-frequency and audible frequency bands. We used a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and deep-learning (DL) for image classification, and a CNN equipped with long short-term memory to enable sequential feature extraction. The accuracy of the learning model was validated using the PhysioNet 2016 CinC dataset, then we used our collected dataset to show that incorporating low-frequency components in the dataset increased the DL model's accuracy by 2% and sensitivity by 4%. The main characteristic of cervical cytopathy is reflected in the edge shape of nuclei. Existing computer-aided diagnostic techniques can clearly segment individual nuclei, but cannot clearly segment the rough edges of adherent nucleus. Therefore, we propose an effective method (ASATrans) to accurately segment rough cervical nuclei edges by exploring adaptive spatial aggregation methods. ASATrans creates a Multi-Receptive Embedding Layer that samples patches using diverse-scale kernels. This approach provides cross-scale features to each embedding, preventing semantic corruption that might arise from mapping disparate patches to analogous underlying representations. Furthermore, we design Adaptive Pixel Adjustment Block by introducing a long-range dependency and adaptive spatial aggregation. This is achieved through the stratification of the spatial aggregation process into distinct groups. Each group is given an exclusive sampling volume and modulation scale, fostering a collaborative learning paradigm that combines local features and global dependencies. This collaborative approach to feature extraction achieves adaptability, mitigates interference from unnecessary pixels, and allows for better segmentation of edges in the nucleus. The function and structure of brain networks (BN) may undergo changes in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), particularly in those accompanied by mild cognitive impairment (ESRDaMCI). Many existing methods for fusing BN focus on extracting interaction features between pairs of network nodes from each mode and combining them. This approach overlooks the correlation between different modal features during feature extraction and the potentially valuable information that may exist between more than two brain regions. To address this issue, we propose a model using a multi-head self-attention mechanism to fuse brain functional networks, white matter structural networks, and gray matter structural networks, which results in the construction of brain fusion networks (FBN). Initially, three networks are constructed: the brain function network, the white matter structure network, and the individual-based gray matter structure network. The multi-head self-attention mechanism is then applied to fuse the three types of networks, generating attention weights that are transformed into an optimized model. The optimized model introduces hypergraph popular regular term and L1 norm regular term, leading to the formation of FBN. Finally, FBN is employed in the diagnosis and prediction of ESRDaMCI to evaluate its classification performance and investigate the correlation between discriminative brain regions and cognitive dysfunction. Experimental results demonstrate that the optimal classification accuracy achieved is 92.80%, which is at least 3.63% higher than the accuracy attained using other methods. The classification of vehicles presents notable challenges within the domain of image processing. Traditional models suffer from inefficiency, prolonged training times for datasets, intricate feature extraction, and variable assignment complexities for classification. Conventional methods applied to categorize vehicles from extensive datasets often lead to errors, misclassifications, and unproductive outcomes. Consequently, leveraging machine learning techniques emerges as a promising solution to tackle these challenges. This study adopts a machine learning approach to alleviate image misclassifications and manage large quantities of vehicle images effectively. Specifically, a contrast enhancement technique is employed in the pre-processing stage to highlight pixel values in vehicle images. In the feature segmentation stage, Mask-R-CNN is utilized to categorize pixels into predefined classes. VGG16 is then employed to extract features from vehicle images, while an autoencoder aids in selecting features by learning non-linear input features and compressing representation features. Finally, the CatBoost (CB) algorithm is implemented for vehicle classification (VC) in diverse critical environments, such as inclement weather, twilight, and instances of vehicle blockage. Agricultural pests and diseases pose major losses to agricultural productivity, leading to significant economic losses and food safety risks. However, accurately identifying and controlling these pests is still very challenging due to the scarcity of labeling data for agricultural pests and the wide variety of pest species with different morphologies. To this end, we propose a two-stage target detection method that combines Cascade RCNN and Swin Transformer models. To address the scarcity of labeled data, we employ random cut-and-paste and traditional online enhancement techniques to expand the pest dataset and use Swin Transformer for basic feature extraction. Subsequently, we designed the SCF-FPN module to enhance the basic features to extract richer pest features. Specifically, the SCF component provides a self-attentive mechanism with a flexible sliding window to enable adaptive feature extraction based on different pest features. Meanwhile, the feature pyramid network (FPN) enriches multiple levels of features and enhances the discriminative ability of the whole network. Finally, to further improve our detection results, we incorporated non-maximum suppression (Soft NMS) and Cascade R-CNN's cascade structure into the optimization process to ensure more accurate and reliable prediction results. In a detection task involving 28 pest species, our algorithm achieves 92.5%, 91.8%, and 93.7% precision in terms of accuracy, recall, and mean average precision (mAP), respectively, which is an improvement of 12.1%, 5.4%, and 7.6% compared to the original baseline model. Atrial Fibrillation (AF), a type of heart arrhythmia, becomes more common with aging and is associated with an increased risk of stroke and mortality. In light of the urgent need for effective automated AF monitoring, existing methods often fall short in balancing accuracy and computational efficiency. To address this issue, we introduce a framework based on Multi-Scale Dilated Convolution (AF-MSDC), aimed at achieving precise predictions with low cost and high efficiency. By integrating Multi-Scale Dilated Convolution (MSDC) modules, our model is capable of extracting features from electrocardiogram (ECG) datasets across various scales, thus achieving an optimal balance between precision and computational savings. We have developed three MSDC modules to construct the AF-MSDC framework and assessed its performance on renowned datasets, including the MIT-BIH Atrial Fibrillation Database and Physionet Challenge 2017. Empirical results unequivocally demonstrate that our technique surpasses existing state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods in the AF detection domain. Specifically, our model, with only a quarter of the parameters of a Residual Network (ResNet), achieved an impressive sensitivity of 99.45%, specificity of 99.64% (on the MIT-BIH AFDB dataset), and an F1all score of 85.63% (on the Physionet Challenge 2017 AFDB dataset). This high efficiency makes our model particularly suitable for integration into wearable ECG devices powered by edge computing frameworks. Multi beam forward looking sonar plays an important role in underwater detection. However, due to the complex underwater environment, unclear features, and susceptibility to noise interference, most forward looking sonar systems have poor recognition performance. The research on MFLS for underwater target detection faces some challenges. Therefore, this study proposes innovative improvements to the YOLOv5 algorithm to address the above issues. On the basis of maintaining the original YOLOv5 architecture, this improved model introduces transfer learning technology to overcome the limitation of scarce sonar image data. At the same time, by incorporating the concept of coordinate convolution, the improved model can extract features with rich positional information, significantly enhancing the model's detection ability for small underwater targets. Furthermore, in order to solve the problem of feature extraction in forward looking sonar images, this study integrates attention mechanisms. This mechanism expands the receptive field of the model and optimizes the feature learning process by highlighting key details while suppressing irrelevant information. These improvements not only enhance the recognition accuracy of the model for sonar images, but also enhance its applicability and generalization performance in different underwater environments. In response to the common problem of uneven training sample quality in forward looking sonar imaging technology, this study made a key improvement to the classic YOLOv5 algorithm. By adjusting the bounding box loss function of YOLOv5, the model's over sensitivity to low-quality samples was reduced, thereby reducing the punishment on these samples. After a series of comparative experiments, the newly proposed CCW-YOLOv5 algorithm has achieved detection accuracy in object detection mAP@0.5 Reached 85.3%, and the fastest inference speed tested on the local machine was 54 FPS, showing significant improvement and performance improvement compared to existing advanced algorithms. Imaging mass spectrometry (IMS) provides promising avenues to augment histopathological investigation with rich spatio-molecular information. We have previously developed a classification model to differentiate melanoma from nevi lesions based on IMS protein data, a task that is challenging solely by histopathologic evaluation. Most IMS-focused studies collect microscopy in tandem with IMS data, but this microscopy data is generally omitted in downstream data analysis. Microscopy, nevertheless, forms the basis for traditional histopathology and thus contains invaluable morphological information. In this work, we developed a multimodal classification pipeline that uses deep learning, in the form of a pre-trained artificial neural network, to extract the meaningful morphological features from histopathological images, and combine it with the IMS data. To test whether this deep learning-based classification strategy can improve on our previous results in classification of melanocytic neoplasia, we utilized MALDI IMS data with collected serial H&E stained sections for 331 patients, and compared this multimodal classification pipeline to classifiers using either exclusively microscopy or IMS data. The multimodal pipeline achieved the best performance, with ROC-AUCs of 0.968 vs. 0.938 vs. 0.931 for the multimodal, unimodal microscopy and unimodal IMS pipelines respectively. Due to the use of a pre-trained network to perform the morphological feature extraction, this pipeline does not require any training on large amounts of microscopy data. In recent years, various data-driven algorithms have been applied to the classification and staging of brain glioma MRI detection. However, the restricted availability of brain glioma MRI data in purely data-driven deep learning algorithms has presented challenges in extracting high-quality features and capturing their complex patterns. Moreover, the analysis methods designed for 2D data necessitate the selection of ideal tumor image slices, which does not align with practical clinical scenarios. Our research proposes an novel brain glioma staging model, Medical Cognition Embedded (MCE) model for 3D data. This model embeds knowledge characteristics into data-driven approaches to enhance the quality of feature extraction. Approach includes the following key components: (1) Deep feature extraction, drawing upon the imaging technical characteristics of different MRI sequences, has led to the design of two methods at both the algorithmic and strategic levels to mimic the learning process of real image interpretation by medical professionals during film reading; (2) We conduct an extensive Radiomics feature extraction, capturing relevant features such as texture, morphology, and grayscale distribution; (3) By referencing key points in radiological diagnosis, Radiomics feature experimental results, and the imaging characteristics of various MRI sequences, we manually create diagnostic features (Diag-Features). The efficacy of proposed methodology is rigorously evaluated on the publicly available BraTS2018 and BraTS2020 datasets. In this study, we used unidirectional and bidirectional long short-term memory (LSTM) deep learning networks for Chinese news classification and characterized the effects of contextual information on text classification, achieving a high level of accuracy. A Chinese glossary was created using jieba—a word segmentation tool—stop-word removal, and word frequency analysis. Next, word2vec was used to map the processed words into word vectors, creating a convenient lookup table for word vectors that could be used as feature inputs for the LSTM model. A bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM) network was used for feature extraction from word vectors to facilitate the transfer of information in both the backward and forward directions to the hidden layer. Subsequently, an LSTM network was used to perform feature integration on all the outputs of the BiLSTM network, with the output from the last layer of the LSTM being treated as the mapping of the text into a feature vector. The output feature vectors were then connected to a fully connected layer to construct a feature classifier using the integrated features, finally classifying the news articles. The hyperparameters of the model were optimized based on the loss between the true and predicted values using the adaptive moment estimation (Adam) optimizer. Additionally, multiple dropout layers were added to the model to reduce overfitting. Our innovative solution, the Multi-Labeling Ensemble (MLEn), tackles the intricate task of extracting multi-labeled data, employing advanced techniques for accurate preprocessing of textual data through the NLTK toolkit. This approach is carefully tailored to the prevailing language used in logistics communication. MLEn utilizes innovative methods, including sentiment intensity analysis, Word2Vec, and Doc2Vec, ensuring comprehensive feature extraction. This proves particularly suitable for logistics in e-commerce, capturing nuanced communication essential for efficient operations. Ethical considerations are a cornerstone in logistics communication, and MLEn plays a pivotal role in detecting and categorizing inappropriate language, aligning inherently with ethical norms. Leveraging Tf-IDF and Vader for feature enhancement, MLEn adeptly discerns and labels ethically sensitive content in logistics communication. Across diverse datasets, including Emotions, MLEn consistently achieves impressive accuracy levels ranging from 92% to 97%, establishing its superiority in the logistics context. The specific emitter identification is widely used in electronic countermeasures, spectrum control, wireless network security and other civil and military fields. In response to the problems that the traditional specific emitter identification algorithm relies on a priori knowledge and has poor generalizability, and the existing specific emitter identification algorithm based on deep learning has poor feature selection and the adopted feature extraction network is not targeted, etc., the specific emitter identification algorithm based on multi-sequence feature learning is proposed. Firstly, multiple sequence features of the emitted signal of the communication radiation source are extracted, and these features are combined into multiple sequence features. With the rapid development of the Internet, the continuous increase of malware and its variants have brought greatly challenges for cyber security. Due to the imbalance of the data distribution, the research on malware detection focuses on the accuracy of the whole data sample, while ignoring the detection rate of the minority categories' malware. In the dataset sample, the normal data samples account for the majority, while the attacks' malware accounts for the minority. However, the minority categories' attacks will bring great losses to countries, enterprises, or individuals. For solving the problem, this study proposed the GNGS algorithm to construct a new balance dataset for the model algorithm to pay more attention to the feature learning of the minority attacks' malware to improve the detection rate of attacks' malware. The traditional malware detection method is highly dependent on professional knowledge and static analysis, so we used the Self-Attention with Gate mechanism (SAG) based on the Transformer to carry out feature extraction between the local and global features and filter irrelevant noise information, then extracted the long-distance dependency temporal sequence features by the BiGRU network, and obtained the classification results through the SoftMax classifier. In the study, we used the Alibaba Cloud dataset for malware multi-classification. Compared the GSB deep learning network model with other current studies, the experimental results showed that the Gaussian noise generation strategy (GNGS) could solve the unbalanced distribution of minority categories' malware and the SAG-BiGRU algorithm obtained the accuracy rate of 88.7% on the eight-classification, which has better performance than other existing algorithms, and the GSB model also has a good effect on the NSL-KDD dataset, which showed the GSB model is effective for other network intrusion detection. In this study, structural images of 1048 healthy subjects from the Human Connectome Project Young Adult study and 94 from ADNI-3 study were processed by an in-house tractography pipeline and analyzed together with pre-processed data of the same subjects from braingraph.org. Whole brain structural connectome features were used to build a simple correlation-based regression machine learning model to predict intelligence and age of healthy subjects. Our results showed that different forms of intelligence as well as age are predictable to a certain degree from diffusion tensor imaging detecting anatomical fiber tracts in the living human brain. Though we did not identify significant differences in the prediction capability for the investigated features depending on the imaging feature extraction method, we did find that crystallized intelligence was consistently better predictable than fluid intelligence from structural connectivity data through all datasets. The YOLO-B infrared target detection algorithm is proposed to address the problems of incomplete extraction of detailed features and missed and wrong detection of infrared targets by YOLOv5s. The algorithm improves the SPPF of YOLOv5s feature extraction network by proposing the CSPPF structure to increase the sensory field of the model. The Bifusion Neck structure is invoked to fuse the shallow location information with deep semantic information to enhance the feature extraction capability of the model. Taking fully into account the different information of concern for classification and localization, the efficient decoupled head is used as the prediction head of this algorithm, which reduces the latency while maintaining the accuracy. WIoUv3 loss is used as a bounding box regression loss function to reduce the harmful gradient generated by low-quality examples and reduce the competitiveness of high-quality anchor frames. Comparative experiments were conducted for each of the four improvement points, and the experimental results showed that each improvement point had the highest detection accuracy in the comparative experiments of the same category. All improvement points are fused in turn and ablation experiments are performed. The YOLO-B algorithm improves 1.9% in accuracy, 7.3% in recall, 3.8% in map_0.5, and 4.6% in map_0.5:0.95 compared to YOLOv5s. Depression is a serious mental health disorder affecting millions of individuals worldwide. Timely and precise recognition of depression is vital for appropriate mediation and effective treatment. Electroencephalography (EEG) has surfaced as a promising tool for inspecting the neural correlates of depression and therefore, has the potential to contribute to the diagnosis of depression effectively. This study presents an EEG-based mental depressive disorder detection mechanism using a publicly available EEG dataset called Multi-modal Open Dataset for Mental-disorder Analysis (MODMA). This study uses EEG data acquired from 55 participants using 3 electrodes in the resting-state condition. Twelve temporal domain features are extracted from the EEG data by creating a non-overlapping window of 10 seconds, which is presented to a novel feature selection mechanism. The feature selection algorithm selects the optimum chunk of attributes with the highest discriminative power to classify the mental depressive disorders patients and healthy controls. The selected EEG attributes are classified using three different classification algorithms i.e., Best- First (BF) Tree, k-nearest neighbor (KNN), and AdaBoost. The highest classification accuracy of 96.36% is achieved using BF-Tree using a feature vector length of 12. The proposed mental depressive classification scheme outperforms the existing state-of-the-art depression classification schemes in terms of the number of electrodes used for EEG recording, feature vector length, and the achieved classification accuracy. This article proposes an advanced classification algorithm for bronze drinking utensils, taking into account the complexity of their cultural characteristics and the challenges of dynasty classification. The SSA-CBAM-GNNs algorithm integrates the Sparrow Search Algorithm (SSA), Spatial and Spectral Attention (CBAM) modules, and Graph Neural Networks (GNNs). The CBAM module is essential for optimizing feature extraction weights in graph neural networks, while SSA enhances the weighted network and expedites the convergence process. Experimental results, validated through various performance evaluation indicators, illustrate the outstanding performance of the improved SSA-CBAM-GNNs algorithm in accurately identifying and classifying cultural features of bronze drinking utensils. Comparative experiments confirm the algorithm's superiority over other methods. Overall, this study proposes a highly efficient identification and classification algorithm, and its effectiveness and excellence in extracting and identifying cultural features of bronze drinking utensils are experimentally demonstrated. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are frequently used algorithms because of their propensity to learn relevant and hierarchical features through their feature extraction technique. However, the availability of enormous volumes of data in various variations is crucial for their performance. Capsule networks (CapsNets) perform well on a small amount of data but perform poorly on complex images. To address this, we proposed a new Capsule Network architecture called Tri Texton-Dense CapsNet (TTDCapsNet) for better complex and medical image classification. The TTDCapsNet is made up of three hierarchic blocks of Texton-Dense CapsNet (TDCapsNet) models. A single TDCapsNet is a CapsNet architecture composed of a texton detection layer to extract essential features, which are passed onto an eight-layered block of dense convolution that further extracts features, and then the output feature map is given as input to a Primary Capsule (PC), and then to a Class Capsule (CC) layer for classification. The resulting feature map from the first PC serves as input into the second-level TDCapsNet, and that from the second PC serves as input into the third-level TDCapsNet. The routing algorithm receives feature maps from each PC for the various CCs. Routing the concatenation of the three PCs creates an additional CC layer. All these four feature maps combined, help to achieve better classification. On fashion-MNIST, CIFAR-10, Breast Cancer, and Brain Tumor datasets, the proposed model is evaluated and achieved validation accuracies of 94.90%, 89.09%, 95.01%, and 97.71% respectively. Findings from this work indicate that TTDCapsNet outperforms the baseline and performs comparatively well with the state-of-the-art CapsNet models using different performance metrics. This work clarifies the viability of using Capsule Network on complex tasks in the real world. In the field of data security, biometric security is a significant emerging concern. The multimodal biometrics system with enhanced accuracy and detection rate for smart environments is still a significant challenge. The fusion of an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal with a fingerprint is an effective multimodal recognition system. In this work, unimodal and multimodal biometric systems using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) are conducted and compared with traditional methods using different levels of fusion of fingerprint and ECG signal. This study is concerned with the evaluation of the effectiveness of proposed parallel and sequential multimodal biometric systems with various feature extraction and classification methods. Additionally, the performance of unimodal biometrics of ECG and fingerprint utilizing deep learning and traditional classification technique is examined. The suggested biometric systems were evaluated utilizing ECG (MIT-BIH) and fingerprint (FVC2004) databases. Additional tests are conducted to examine the suggested models with:1) virtual dataset without augmentation (ODB) and 2) virtual dataset with augmentation (VDB). The findings show that the optimum performance of the parallel multimodal achieved 0.96 Area Under the ROC Curve (AUC) and sequential multimodal achieved 0.99 AUC, in comparison to unimodal biometrics which achieved 0.87 and 0.99 AUCs, for the fingerprint and ECG biometrics, respectively. The overall performance of the proposed multimodal biometrics outperformed unimodal biometrics using CNN. Moreover, the performance of the suggested CNN model for ECG signal and sequential multimodal system based on neural network outperformed other systems. Robust and reliable diagnostic methods are desired in various types of industries. This article presents a novel approach to object detection in industrial or general ultrasound tomography. The key idea is to analyze the time-dependent ultrasonic signal recorded by three independent transducers of an experimental system. It focuses on finding common or related characteristics of these signals using custom-designed deep neural network models. In principle, models use convolution layers to extract common features of signals, which are passed to dense layers responsible for predicting the number of objects or their locations and sizes. Predicting the number and properties of objects are characterized by a high value of the coefficient of determination R2 = 99.8% and R2 = 98.4%, respectively. An ultrasonic phased array defect extraction method based on adaptive region growth is proposed, aiming at problems such as difficulty in defect identification and extraction caused by noise interference and complex structure of the detected object during ultrasonic phased array detection. First, bilateral filtering and grayscale processing techniques are employed for the purpose of noise reduction and initial data processing. Following this, the maximum sound pressure within the designated focusing region serves as the seed point. An adaptive region iteration method is subsequently employed to execute automatic threshold capture and region growth. In addition, mathematical morphology is applied to extract the processed defect features. In the final stage, two sets of B-scan images depicting hole defects of varying sizes are utilized for experimental validation of the proposed algorithm's effectiveness and applicability. The defect features extracted through this algorithm are then compared and analyzed alongside the histogram threshold method, Otsu method, K-means clustering algorithm, and a modified iterative method. The results reveal that the margin of error between the measured results and the actual defect sizes is less than 13%, representing a significant enhancement in the precision of defect feature extraction. The escalating prevalence of cybersecurity risks calls for a focused strategy in order to attain efficient resolutions. This study introduces a detection model that employs a tailored methodology integrating feature selection using SHAP values, a shallow learning algorithm called PV-DM, and machine learning classifiers like XGBOOST. The efficacy of our suggested methodology is highlighted by employing the NSL-KDD and UNSW-NB15 datasets. Our approach in the NSL-KDD dataset exhibits exceptional performance, with an accuracy of 98.92%, precision of 98.92%, recall of 95.44%, and an F1-score of 96.77%. Notably, this performance is achieved by utilizing only four characteristics, indicating the efficiency of our approach. The proposed methodology achieves an accuracy of 82.86%, precision of 84.07%, recall of 77.70%, and an F1-score of 80.20% in the UNSW-NB15 dataset, using only six features. Our research findings provide substantial evidence of the enhanced performance of the proposed model compared to a traditional deep-learning model across all performance metrics.
