This document is a correction notice for an article titled "Specific transfection of inflamed brain by macrophages: A new therapeutic strategy for neurodegenerative diseases." The article discusses the anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects of catalase-transfected macrophages in murine models of Parkinson's disease. The genetically modified macrophages were found to decrease neuroinflammation and increase neuronal survival.
