Retired U.S. Navy Admiral Timothy Gallaudet has published a paper arguing that unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and unidentified submersible objects (USO) are linked and should be further studied. He believes that these "transmedium" UAPs and USOs, which can travel both in the atmosphere and in the water, pose a risk to U.S. maritime security. Gallaudet references incidents such as the 2019 encounter between the USS Omaha and a transmedium UAP, as well as a sighting in Puerto Rico in 2013. He also mentions the discovery of unusual holes on the North Atlantic seafloor. Gallaudet's advocacy for UAP research is rare among high-ranking military officers, and the evidence he presents is difficult to explain. The extent of future research on this topic remains uncertain. [Extracted from the article]
