The article discusses key issues concerning collaborative leadership in school administration in the U.S. in 2005. Newly formed collaborative teams require much attention from administrators, but even established teams need ongoing support, especially if they have been re-formed and must develop new norms and relationships. Principals should clearly articulate goals and provide guidance for developing relationships among team members and focusing their work.
