Modern control of the cutting process can only be based on the thorough study of the dynamics of the technological system that allows revealing different mechanisms of the processes occurring in the cutting zone. The article shows the bifurcations inherent in the process of deep drilling that allows explaining a number of phenomena that affect the tool breakdown and development of typical defects of the deep holes mechanical processing. The formation of bifurcations in the deep drilling process is shown based on the mutual influence of the cutting force and the force of the contact interaction between the surface of the hole and the side face of the drill. The forces, appearing in the cutting zone create the non-linear dynamic characteristics of the cutting process which depend on the radial float of the tools. The radial floats of drill are characteristic of the deep drilling of small-diameter bores.

According to the characteristics of wire-line coring drilling technology and combined the project of ZK3 borehole in salt exploration in Ye-wu sag in Henan province, the data of construction cost and efficiency for wire-line coring and roundtrip coring separately have been analyzed. In a certain evaluation period, the technical and economic evaluation for wire-line coring and simulation roundtrip coring in ZK3 borehole conducted by net present value (NPV) method, the result shows that, in ZK3 borehole, comparing with roundtrip coring, the drilling efficiency of wire-line coring method improved by 85%, the profit is 6.3 times than roundtrip coring, its technical economy is more obvious along with the depth increase. The sensibility analysis shows, the most sensitivity factors effecting on the borehole efficiency are construction price and construction period.

The aluminum alloy drill rod has light weight, high specific strength, more deep drilling depth and so on. The development and application of aluminum alloy drill rod has a great practical significance for improving geological drilling efficiency at where it is hard to enter and promoting scientific drilling technological progress and reducing the energy consumption. In this paper, the current situation and key technology of batch and serialization for aluminum alloy rod were introduced, and its application technology characteristics, trial production key technology, indoor experiment, and application situation had been analyzed. The research about aluminum alloy rod for high temperature was suggested after reviewing the foreign research results.

To solve the problem that there are no outburst prediction positional samplers in the mining face, a new outburst prediction positional sampler with the dedicated drilling diameter Ф42 mm, the QDT42/1.0 has been developed. It involves the design of the device structure of the dual-tube sampling, the process of opening and closing the sampling hole, and some key technical parameters. The applied effects of this device with the sampling investigation show that it results in the designated outburst dangerous prediction indexes measurements and it is significantly useful and convenient in taking samples. The increment increases along with the drilling depth. This fully displays that the sampling instruments have better technical performance such as accurate results of the sampling test and good prediction effect. Application tests have shown that the sampler is a simple, accurate positioning, with the short sampling time, and the characteristics and functions of the sampling volume meet the requirements. Therefore, the full realization of the diameter Ф42 mm, 10m deep drilling positional sampling has important application value and practical significance in reality.
