Building partition wall, as one of the building partition constructions, and as one of the major renovation projects of the decoration and renovation engineering in commercial and official buildings, it often has an effect on the project’s fire safety. In this article, the type, structure and materials of partition walls are summarized in classification, factors affecting the fire performance of building partition walls are analyzed, and problems of partition walls in engineering and fire protection designing are illustrated and analyzed. International and national standards are analyzed. Through discussions on fire safety audit and setting of partition walls, the adverse effects of partition wall renovation projects on building structures, damage to fire prevention compartment, impact on evacuation route of people, smoke control design and on other fixed fire protection facilities, are discussed in this article. It can be seen from these projects, if building partition walls were designed improperly, it would do great harm to building fire safety. Therefore, it should be taken seriously in fire safety designing. Traditional residence is an important part of our culture and heritage of ancient architecture, which contains rich experience in the construction of ecological. But limited at the construction technology and economic level, traditional residence also has shortcomings. Therefore, in addition to heritage of its ecological wisdom, syndrome differentiation treatment should be used. In this paper, on the basis of the energy-saving reconstruction project located in Anju town of Chongqing, its energy-saving advantages and disadvantages were analyzed. Then methods of traditional residence in energy-saving were proposed, which not only met the energy requirements and economics, but also improved the thermal comfort significantly. Small Russian cities are characterized by the fragility of mass development. Being relatively late, it inherits the traditional characteristics of an old town and, together with dominant structures, defines its image. Conservation of traditions and the image of the city in the context of inevitable replacement of a large portion of housing stock is a difficult task. Currently, many property investors are faced with the necessity of examination before purchasing the object. The survey is especially important if they plan reconstruction. During examination the particular difficulty is the inspection of hidden part of the basements. The article describes methods for determining the depth of laying Foundation base. This is a key element for investors when they determining future costs for reconstruction. Through experimental examination of the basement, the comparison of different methods was made. The methods were compared from the standpoint of the survey (difficulty, labor, damage), and from the quality of the data obtained. The article describes procedure of the survey. Also you can find an algorithm for determining the depth of the Foundation. In conclusion, recommendations on the choice of a method for determining the depth of the Foundation base were made. Pipe rehabilitation and trenchless replacement technologies have seen a steadily increasing use and represent an increasing proportion of the annual expenditure on operations and maintenance of the water and wastewater infrastructure around the world. Despite the large public investment in use of these technologies, there has been little quantitative evaluation of how these technologies are performing. A retrospective study conducted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency collected 25 samples between 2009 and 2013 of in-service gravity sewer liners from 11 cities in North America. Testing of the various liners included thickness, annular gap, ovality, specific gravity, porosity, flexural strength, flexural modulus, tensile strength, tensile modulus, surface hardness, glass transition temperature, Raman spectroscopy, environmental stress crack resistance and pipe stiffness as appropriate to the liner type and condition. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners comprised 18 of the 25 samples. Other liners included were PVC fold-and-form, HDPE deform-reform and sliplining. The samples had seen from 5 years to 34 years in service. A number of areas where the QA/QC of liner installation should improve were noted in the studies but, overall, the liners were in excellent condition and the physical test results indicated that these liners are expected to last their 50-year design life and probably well beyond. The article presented new approach to the repair of partial county roads - lower technical category - in Poland. Most roads in Poland have asphalt pavement [1] . Often these were surfaces designed and made in 80 - 90s for very light cars and horse carts. Many of these roads are in operation under much greater traffic and exceeded load design values. This results in degradation and destruction of the road surface. Due to the large backlog of road repairs and many years of negligence regarding road infrastructure resulting from financial constraints of road managers, an urgent need arose to repair several kilometres of asphalt roads, colloquially speaking, at the drop of a hat. Resurfacing and overhauls were first performed on national roads and, to a limited extent, on the roads of lower functional classes. Technologies currently used leave much to be desired in terms of quality and economy. One way to reduce the cost of contracting, while increasing the quality of the work, is to search for solutions using new technologies. The article proposes the use of a new Swedish device SPRIDER in Polish conditions. Summary The viaduct is positioned on the highway, connecting the city of Sofia with the northern part of Bulgaria. The total length of the viaduct is 645m, where it has 16 spans of 40.5m length each. The maximum height of the piers is 50m. During the renovation of the deck and the piers has been discovered that some of the 120t post-tensioned concrete beams are in very bad condition. Approximately more than 50% from their origin load bearing capacity has been diminished. A decision was taken for these beams to be replaced by steel ones. In the paper are described the design and the implementation of the renovation of the important structural elements, including the problems which were encountered upon. The design approach of the different elements has also been analyzed. The main innovation in the project is in the usage of concrete and steel beams in one and the same span. Due to the replacement of some post-tensioned beams with steel beams, the beneficent requested a full-scale load test of the bridge to be provided before it enters in operation again. The scientific study of the issues of the modern urban park design applying innovative urban planning methods is a prospective area of our scientific interests. The results of our investigations can be useful both for the theory and practice of the urban landscape design at the numerous disrupted territories of the Volgograd agglomeration. This paper considers the issues of enhancing the level of the environmental comfort of the urban development in the Volgograd agglomeration through the arrangement of new urban parks applying innovative urban planning methods for the urban landscape design. Also, there is a brief review of the global experience in the use of new technologies for the landscape ecological reconstruction and regeneration of urban areas. This paper presents a model for maintenance and renovation of public sector buildings. The model creates the basis for the Buildpass application, which allows users to apply these methods through a web interface. The author researched innovative approaches in detail, in order to deal with the problems of maintenance and construction refurbishments indicated by companies dealing with software applications used for Facility Management. Maintenance and renovation represent a significant cost within the whole lifecycle of a built asset. Rational owners and facility managers try to minimize the outlays on maintenance and renovation. However, it is necessary to set a baseline condition above which the condition of buildings should be maintained, taking into account the type of usage and demands imposed on the building. The model must be applicable at a level that the user, who is not a civil engineering specialist, would be able to understand it without getting biased or misguided results. On the other hand, the aim is to create an environment where the civil engineering expert can intervene in the primary inputs of the model and thus use his/her own experience and knowledge. Attributes of the IT solution do exist – the potential to work on various levels of the model's detail and the time exigency for obtaining information and tasks being solved. It is sometimes necessary to get data within a short timeframe, or alternative solutions to be analyzed, so it is key to focus only on the optimal solution identified, without wasting time exploring poor variants. The application must return a result within a short time, and at the same time not seriously bias the outputs. Abstract: In this paper knowledge-based model for standard housing renovation is proposed. The key idea of the model is to transfer the knowledge gathered from already implemented typical renovation projects to the forthcoming renovation projects by selecting best project alternatives. In order to solve this task MCDA (Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis) approach is used. The concept of knowledge transfer in renovation is discussed, the developed model is presented, main stages of its implementation described.
