To analyze the influence of different songs on the teaching-learning process of chest compressions for nursing students. Double blind clinical trial conducted during practical classes of chest compressions during laboratory simulation. Forty-three undergraduate students enrolled in the Adult Health discipline aged ≥18 years participated. The characterization and recording of compression frequencies/min in the three phases for the four groups were collected. The p-value ≤0.05 was adopted. There was no statistically significant difference between the mean compressions of the groups - pre-test (p=0.111) and post-test (p=0.213) stages, according to the Kruskal Wallis test. The comparative results of these steps showed a statistically significant difference by Chi-square (p=0.018) and t-paired (p=0.015) tests among those who performed (100- 120comp/min). The different musical contents proposed can be made possible as an accessible support strategy to the teacher in the teaching-learning process of the technique of chest compressions along with resuscitation maneuvers for nursing students.
