It features the Conscious Youth Media Crew (CYMC), a group of teenaged filmmakers founded by Debra Koffler with the mission to help the youth gain the necessary skills to be productive members of the society. Just Think is a Presidio-based media education organization that demonstrates the correlation of media education program with students' academic performance through their Media Education, Arts and Literacy program.

An interview with cinematographer Ellen Kuras is presented. She explains how she entered the field of cinematography. Kuras compares her different approaches to documentary, narrative and commercial work. She also describes her working relationship with director Spike Lee with whom she worked on creating several documentaries and narrative films.

The article presents the highlights of the First Annual Good Vibrations Amateur Erotic Film Competition that was held at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco, California in November 2006. One of the filmmakers who attended the film festival was Claudia Escobar who stated that her project was different from her previous projects because of its super personal nature. Filmmakers Max Power and J. G. Baroni, who aspire to make sex-positive filmmaking their career, also attended the festival. Judges during the festival focused on short films instead of commercial pornography ones.
