The nutrients are fundamental factors that affect the yield of the microalgal cultures, of there the importance of carry out studies to laboratory scale with species of commercial and scientific interest. To such an effect was investigated the biomass production of Scenedesmus obliquus. in different cultures. Two reactors type columns of 2 L of capacity were used using culture Extract of soil, and culture Synthetic Sewer, respectively, the inoculum of culture was added at (1 %) in the logaritmic phase of the growth. To keep homogeneous and agitated the system was supplied air to reason 100 L/h that was measured with the flow regulator and they were placed in a local whose temperature mean was 29,7 °C. The reactors worked in discontinuous way (batch). they stayed with a regime of dark/light of 8/16 hours during 16 days. To follow the behavior of the culture, the optic Density, the chlorophyll a, the volatile suspended solids, the pH and the production of biomass in the system was determined. The speed of specific growth μ was calculated = 0,16 d-1 for the culture in the Extract of soil and μ = 0,33 d-1 for the synthetic Sewer culture. The time of duplication was of 4,33 d'-1 for the culture AES and 2,10 d-1 for the Synthetic Sewer culture. A better behavior of the algae investigated was observed in the Synthetic Sewer culture.
