The internship is a central curricular element in the processes of fabrication and maintenance of teachers identities. Anchored in a report produced by a supervised internship student from the Physical Education course of a public university, this article aims to discuss the power games that go through the internship and point out other possibilities for reading and writing this practice. Starting from a review that points to changes in the meaning of the term, the text proposes the redefinition of the internship based on Michel Foucault's notion of transgression. Viewed as a transgressive action, which is not limited to professional subjection within an established political-discursive order, the internship can make it possible to overcome the outlined limits, configuring itself as a limit-experience.
