- Abstract
This article is a summary of the master thesis "Identities of Women in Brazilian Politics: discussion analysis of propagandas produced by the Superior Electoral Tribunal (2014 and 2016)", and aims to investigate the identities attributed to women in Brazilian politics. It is considered in this research that the identity or the fragmentation of the identity is a production that occurs in the and by the discourse, being this a practice (FUCAULT, 2015) about the way how the subjects are subjectivated or objectified in our culture. In this dimension, concepts of the French Discourse Analysis (AD) of foucaultian nuance are mobilized; methodological principles of film analysis (VANOYE; GOLIOT-LÉTÉ, 1994); and some reflections of the social sciences about identity. The methodology is qualitative and procedurally based on the analysis of a propaganda broadcast on the television media in the year 2016, which emerged from the campaign to encourage female participation in politics, provided for in TSE Resolution for use in electoral years. In this research, we will try to analyze differences that mark the positions of the "political woman", from new discourses in the history of women in relation to the old identities.
