This article focuses on experiences of the author during mining events resulting in the discovery of precious stones. During the course of mining from mid July to mid August, two small vugs were found that contained morganite, tourmaline, quartz and feldspar crystals. At a depth of 8 meters, a large cavity of quartz crystals was broken. Some holes were drilled in the footwall of the pegmatite below the pocket and then loaded with explosives and set off. It turned out to be the biggest pocket with 3.7 × 2.8 × 1.2 meters and packed with sticky wet red-brown clay.
