The article presents conversation between Pete Martin, editor and writer and his friend Bing Corby about entertainment industry. According to Bing the studios usually try to co-ordinate all their advertising and publicity with a picture's release. He got started writing nonfiction about Hollywood and show-business personalities almost by accident. Bob Fuoss, executive editor of the newspaper "The Post," gave him the first push. Bing suppose that trade-paper critics have to lean a little bit to the side of the actor and the producer and the studio because they have to sell advertising to keep going.
