The paper summarizes faunistic data collected during seasons 2009-2011 and 2014 in a locality Hůrka, a hill in Hluboká nad Vltavou. The locality is characterised by a high ecosystem diversity (sunny exposed xerothermic slope, meadows, natural forest fragments). This work is specialized in leaf beetles (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), but we also publish other faunistically interesting entomological data. As the most interesting findings, we can point out the tortoise beetle Cassida pannonica and the leaf beetle Chrysolina haemoptera - their presence indicates a xerothermic character of some parts of the locality. Significance of the forest complex is indicated by a very rare flea beetle Neocrepidodera brevicollis. Other interesting findings are for example the tortoise beetle Cassida rufovirens, and, excluding the family Chrysomelidae, also Oberea erythrocephala (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae), Carabus scheidleri (Coleoptera: Carabidae) and Brintesia circe (Lepidoptera: Satyridae). We also notify a devastation of the locality, which is realized via building family houses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
