This article presents reprints of articles from the magazine 50, 100 and 150 years ago. In the October 1957 issue one article looks at the migration of the middle class in America out of the cities and into the suburbs while another reports on the supposed translation of ancient baked clay tablets found in Greece. In the 1907 edition, the authors decry the lack of public interest in raisins and picture the invention of large roller skates that look like car hubcaps. The 1857 edition recounts the sinking of the "Central America" ship off the coast of North Carolina which was loaded with gold.
