Recently, the efficacy of two low-invasive treatments, ablation, and radiotherapy, has been fully compared for the patients with the early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the comparison between radiotherapy plus ablation and ablation alone has been less frequently reported. Data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database were searched for early-stage HCC patients treated with ablation plus radiotherapy or ablation alone. The outcome measures were overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS). The propensity score matching (PSM) was used to reduce selection bias. We included 240 and 6619 patients in the radiotherapy plus ablation group and ablation group before the PSM. After PSM, 240 pairs of patients were included. The median OS (mOS) and median CSS (mCSS) of patients receiving ablation alone were longer than that of receiving radiotherapy plus ablation (mOS: 47 vs. 34 months, P = 0.019; mCSS: 77 vs. 40 months, P = 0.018, after PSM) before and after PSM. The multivariate analysis indicated that radiotherapy plus ablation independent risk factor for OS and CSS before PSM, but the significance disappeared after PSM. The detailed subgroup analyses indicated ablation alone brought more benefit in very early-stage HCC and older patients. In addition, we found different types of radiotherapy might lead to different outcomes when combined with ablation. In conclusion, ablation alone is noninferior to radiotherapy plus ablation in patients with early-stage HCC. The additional radiation prior to ablation may bring survival benefits in the patients with higher tumor stage. This study explored the dosimetric difference between hypofractionated whole-breast irradiation (HFWBI) with sequential boost (SEB) and simultaneous integrated boost (SIB) based on supine and prone positions to identify the superior boost mode and superior position. Thirty breast cancer patients eligible for HFWBI after breast-conserving surgery were enrolled. All patients underwent 3DCT simulation scanning in both supine and prone positions. For the SEB-HFWBI plan, the dose prescribed for the planning target volume (PTV) of whole breast (WB) was 2.67 Gy per fraction with a total of 15 fractions, followed by a sequential boost of 3.2 Gy per fraction to the PTV of tumor bed (TB) in 3 fractions. For the SIB-HFWBI plan, the dose prescribed for the PTV of WB was 2.67 Gy per fraction with a total of 15 fractions, with a simultaneously integrated boost of 3.2 Gy per fraction to the PTV of TB with a total of 15 fractions. Regardless of the position, for the PTV of TB, the conformal index (CI) in the SIB-HFWBI plans was greater than those in the SEB-HFWBI plans (T = − 8.114, − 8.114; both P < 0.05). The CI for the PTV of WB increased significantly in the prone position relative to the supine position in both two plans(Z = − 3.340, − 3.501; all P < 0.05). T-cell receptor (TCR) detection can examine the extent of T-cell immune responses. Therefore, the article analyzed characteristic data of glioma obtained by DNA-based TCR high-throughput sequencing, to predict the disease with fewer biomarkers and higher accuracy. We downloaded data online and obtained six TCR-related diversity indices to establish a multidimensional classification system. By comparing actual presence of the 602 correlated sequences, we obtained two-dimensional and multidimensional datasets. Multiple classification methods were utilized for both datasets with the classification accuracy of multidimensional data slightly less to two-dimensional datasets. This study reduced the TCR β sequences through feature selection methods like RFECV (Recursive Feature Elimination with Cross-Validation). Consequently, using only the presence of these three sequences, the classification AUC value of 96.67% can be achieved. The combination of the three correlated TCR clones obtained at a source data threshold of 0.1 is: CASSLGGNTEAFF&#95;TRBV12&#95;TRBJ1-1, CASSYSDTGELFF&#95;TRBV6&#95;TRBJ2-2, and CASSLTGNTEAFF&#95;TRBV12&#95;TRBJ1-1. Surface defects on steel, arising from factors like steel composition and manufacturing techniques, pose significant challenges to industrial production. Efficient and precise detection of these defects is crucial for enhancing production efficiency and product quality. In accordance with these requisites, this paper elects to undertake the detection task predicated on the you only look once (YOLO) algorithm. In this study, we propose a novel approach for surface flaw identification based on the YOLOv5 algorithm, called YOLOv5-KBS. This method integrates attention mechanism and weighted Bidirectional Feature Pyramid Network (BiFPN) into YOLOv5 architecture. Our method addresses issues of background interference and defect size variability in images. Experimental results show that the YOLOv5-KBS model achieves a notable 4.2% increase in mean Average Precision (mAP) and reaches a detection speed of 70 Frames Per Second (FPS), outperforming the baseline model.
