Danmakus are user-generated comments that overlay on videos, enabling real-time interactions between viewers and video content. The emotional orientation of danmakus can reflect the attitudes and opinions of viewers on video segments, which can help video platforms optimize video content recommendation and evaluate users' abnormal emotion levels. Aiming at the problems of low transferability of traditional sentiment analysis methods in the danmaku domain, low accuracy of danmaku text segmentation, poor consistency of sentiment annotation, and insufficient semantic feature extraction, this paper proposes a video danmaku sentiment analysis method based on MIBE-RoBERTa-FF-BiLSTM. This paper constructs a "Bilibili Must-Watch List and Top Video Danmaku Sentiment Dataset" by ourselves, covering 10,000 positive and negative sentiment danmaku texts of 18 themes. A new word recognition algorithm based on mutual information (MI) and branch entropy (BE) is used to discover 2610 irregular network popular new words from trigrams to heptagrams in the dataset, forming a domain lexicon. The Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory is applied to guide the consistent sentiment annotation. The domain lexicon is integrated into the feature fusion layer of the RoBERTa-FF-BiLSTM model to fully learn the semantic features of word information, character information, and context information of danmaku texts and perform sentiment classification. Comparative experiments on the dataset show that the model proposed in this paper has the best comprehensive performance among the mainstream models for video danmaku text sentiment classification, with an F1 value of 94.06%, and its accuracy and robustness are also better than other models. In industry, the task of defect classification and defect localization is an important part of defect detection system. However, existing studies only focus on one task and it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of both tasks. This paper proposes a defect detection system based on improved Yolo_v4, which greatly improves the detection ability of minor defects. For K_Means algorithm clustering prianchors question with strong subjectivity, the paper proposes the Density Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) algorithm to determine the number of Anchors. To solve the problem of low detection rate of small targets caused by insufficient reuse rate of low-level features in CSPDarknet53 feature extraction network, this paper proposes an ECA-DenseNet-BC-121 feature extraction network to improve it. And the Dual Channel Feature Enhancement (DCFE) module is proposed to improve the local information loss and gradient propagation obstruction caused by quad chain convolution in PANet networks to improve the robustness of the model. The experimental results on the fabric surface defect detection datasets show that the mAP of the improved Yolo_v4 is 98.97%, which is 7.67% higher than SSD, 3.75% higher than Faster_RCNN, 10.82% higher than Yolo_v4 tiny, and 5.35% higher than Yolo_v4, and the detection speed reaches 39.4 fps. With a significant number of mechanical products approaching the retirement phase, the batch recycling of discarded mechanical parts necessitates a preliminary assessment of their surface condition. However, the presence of surface rust poses a challenge to defect identification. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for detecting heavily rusted surface defects based on an improved YOLOv8n network. In the Backbone, the C2f-DBB module of re-parameterized deep feature extraction was introduced, and the attention module was designed to improve the accuracy of information extraction. In the Neck part, a Bi-Afpn multiscale feature fusion strategy is designed to facilitate information exchange between features at different scales. Finally, Focal-CIoU is employed as the bounding box loss function to enhance the network's localization performance and accuracy for defects. Experimentally, it is proved that the improved network in this paper improves the Recall, Precision, and mAP0.5 by 1.2%, 2.1%, and 1.9%, respectively, on the original basis, which is better than other network models. In the realm of prognosticating the remaining useful life (RUL) of pivotal components, such as aircraft engines, a prevalent challenge persists where the available historical life data often proves insufficient. This insufficiency engenders obstacles such as impediments in performance degradation feature extraction, inadequacies in capturing temporal relationships comprehensively, and diminished predictive accuracy. To address this issue, a 1D CNN-GRU prediction model for few-shot conditions is proposed in this paper. In pursuit of more comprehensive data feature extraction and enhanced RUL prognostication precision, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is selected for its capacity to discern high-dimensional features amid the intricate dynamics of the data. Concurrently, the Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) network is leveraged for its robust capability in extracting temporal features inherent within the data. We combine the two to construct a CNN-GRU hybrid network. Moreover, the integration of data distribution alongside correlation and monotonicity indices is employed to winnow the input of multi-sensor monitoring parameters into the CNN-GRU network. Finally, the engine RULs are predicted by the trained model. In this paper, experiments are conducted on a sub-dataset of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) C-MAPSS multi-constraint dataset to validate the effectiveness of the method. The intelligent appearance quality classification method for Auricularia auricula is of great significance to promote this industry. This paper proposes an appearance quality classification method for Auricularia auricula based on the improved Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Networks (improved Faster RCNN) framework. The original Faster RCNN is improved by establishing a multiscale feature fusion detection model to improve the accuracy and real-time performance of the model. The multiscale feature fusion detection model makes full use of shallow feature information to complete target detection. It fuses shallow features with rich detailed information with deep features rich in strong semantic information. Since the fusion algorithm directly uses the existing information of the feature extraction network, there is no additional calculation. The fused features contain more original detailed feature information. Therefore, the improved Faster RCNN can improve the final detection rate without sacrificing speed. By comparing with the original Faster RCNN model, the mean average precision (mAP) of the improved Faster RCNN is increased by 2.13%. The average precision (AP) of the first-level Auricularia auricula is almost unchanged at a high level. The AP of the second-level Auricularia auricula is increased by nearly 5%. And the third-level Auricularia auricula AP is increased by 1%. The improved Faster RCNN improves the frames per second from 6.81 of the original Faster RCNN to 13.5. Advances in computer image recognition have significantly impacted many industries, including healthcare, security and autonomous systems. This paper aims to explore the potential of improving image algorithms to enhance computer image recognition. Specifically, we will focus on regression methods as a means to improve the accuracy and efficiency of identifying images. In this study, we will analyze various regression techniques and their applications in computer image recognition, as well as the resulting performance improvements through detailed examples and data analysis. This paper deals with the problems related to visual image processing in outdoor unstructured environment. Finally, the heterogeneous patterns are converted into the same pattern, and the heterogeneous patterns are extracted from the fusion features of data modes. The object scale of a small object scene changes greatly, and the object is easily disturbed by a complex background. Generic object detectors do not perform well on small object detection tasks. In this paper, we focus on small object detection based on FocusDet. FocusDet refers to the small object detector proposed in this paper. It consists of three parts: backbone, feature fusion structure, and detection head. STCF-EANet was used as the backbone for feature extraction, the Bottom Focus-PAN for feature fusion, and the detection head for object localization and recognition.To maintain sufficient global context information and extract multi-scale features, the STCF-EANet network backbone is used as the feature extraction network.PAN is a feature fusion module used in general object detectors. It is used to perform feature fusion on the extracted feature maps to supplement feature information.In the feature fusion network, FocusDet uses Bottom Focus-PAN to capture a wider range of locations and lower-level feature information of small objects.SIOU-SoftNMS is the proposed algorithm for removing redundant prediction boxes in the post-processing stage. SIOU multi-dimension accurately locates the prediction box, and SoftNMS uses the Gaussian algorithm to remove redundant prediction boxes. FocusDet uses SIOU-SoftNMS to address the missed detection problem common in dense tiny objects.The VisDrone2021-DET and CCTSDB2021 object detection datasets are used as benchmarks, and tests are carried out on VisDrone2021-det-test-dev and CCTSDB-val datasets. Wearable sensors are widely used in medical applications and human–computer interaction because of their portability and powerful privacy. Human activity identification based on sensor data plays a vital role in these fields. Therefore, it is important to improve the recognition performance of different types of actions. Aiming at the problems of insufficient time-varying feature extraction and gradient explosion caused by too many network layers, a time convolution network recognition model with attention mechanism (TCN-Attention-HAR) was proposed. The model effectively recognizes and emphasizes the key feature information. The ability of extracting temporal features from TCN (temporal convolution network) is improved by using the appropriate size of the receiver domain. In addition, attention mechanisms are used to assign higher weights to important information, enabling models to learn and identify human activities more effectively. The performance of the Open Data Set (WISDM, PAMAP2 and USC-HAD) is improved by 1.13%, 1.83% and 0.51%, respectively, compared with other advanced models, these results clearly show that the network model presented in this paper has excellent recognition performance. In the knowledge distillation experiment, the parameters of student model are only about 0.1% of those of teacher model, and the accuracy of the model has been greatly improved, and in the WISDM data set, compared with the teacher's model, the accuracy is 0.14% higher. Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a major global health concern, affecting millions of individuals worldwide. While existing literature predominantly focuses on disease classification using clinical data, there exists a critical research gap concerning HCV genotyping based on genomic sequences. Accurate HCV genotyping is essential for patient management and treatment decisions. While the neural models excel at capturing complex patterns, they still face challenges, such as data scarcity, that exist a lot in computational genomics. To overcome this challenges, this paper introduces an advanced deep learning approach for HCV genotyping based on the graphical representation of nucleotide sequences that outperforms classical approaches. Notably, it is effective for both partial and complete HCV genomes and addresses challenges associated with imbalanced datasets. In this work, ten HCV genotypes: 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 4, 5, and 6 were used in the analysis. This study utilizes Chaos Game Representation for 2D mapping of genomic sequences, employing self-supervised learning using convolutional autoencoder for deep feature extraction, resulting in an outstanding performance for HCV genotyping compared to various machine learning and deep learning models. This baseline provides a benchmark against which the performance of the proposed approach and other models can be evaluated. The experimental results showcase a remarkable classification accuracy of over 99%, outperforming traditional deep learning models. This performance demonstrates the capability of the proposed model to accurately identify HCV genotypes in both partial and complete sequences and in dealing with data scarcity for certain genotypes. Historically, the analysis of stimulus-dependent time–frequency patterns has been the cornerstone of most electroencephalography (EEG) studies. The abnormal oscillations in high-frequency waves associated with psychotic disorders during sensory and cognitive tasks have been studied many times. However, any significant dissimilarity in the resting-state low-frequency bands is yet to be established. Spectral analysis of the alpha and delta band waves shows the effectiveness of stimulus-independent EEG in identifying the abnormal activity patterns of pathological brains. A generalized model incorporating multiple frequency bands should be more efficient in associating potential EEG biomarkers with first-episode psychosis (FEP), leading to an accurate diagnosis. We explore multiple machine-learning methods, including random-forest, support vector machine, and Gaussian process classifier (GPC), to demonstrate the practicality of resting-state power spectral density (PSD) to distinguish patients of FEP from healthy controls. A comprehensive discussion of our preprocessing methods for PSD analysis and a detailed comparison of different models are included in this paper. The GPC model outperforms the other models with a specificity of 95.78% to show that PSD can be used as an effective feature extraction technique for analyzing and classifying resting-state EEG signals of psychiatric disorders. Blinding eye diseases are often related to changes in retinal structure, which can be detected by analysing retinal blood vessels in fundus images. However, existing techniques struggle to accurately segment these delicate vessels. Although deep learning has shown promise in medical image segmentation, its reliance on specific operations can limit its ability to capture crucial details such as the edges of the vessel. This paper introduces LMBiS-Net, a lightweight convolutional neural network designed for the segmentation of retinal vessels. LMBiS-Net achieves exceptional performance with a remarkably low number of learnable parameters (only 0.172 million). The network used multipath feature extraction blocks and incorporates bidirectional skip connections for the information flow between the encoder and decoder. In addition, we have optimised the efficiency of the model by carefully selecting the number of filters to avoid filter overlap. This optimisation significantly reduces training time and improves computational efficiency. To assess LMBiS-Net's robustness and ability to generalise to unseen data, we conducted comprehensive evaluations on four publicly available datasets: DRIVE, STARE, CHASE_DB1, and HRF The proposed LMBiS-Net achieves significant performance metrics in various datasets. It obtains sensitivity values of 83.60%, 84.37%, 86.05%, and 83.48%, specificity values of 98.83%, 98.77%, 98.96%, and 98.77%, accuracy (acc) scores of 97.08%, 97.69%, 97.75%, and 96.90%, and AUC values of 98.80%, 98.82%, 98.71%, and 88.77% on the DRIVE, STARE, CHEASE_DB, and HRF datasets, respectively. In addition, it records F1 scores of 83.43%, 84.44%, 83.54%, and 78.73% on the same datasets. Our evaluations demonstrate that LMBiS-Net achieves high segmentation accuracy (acc) while exhibiting both robustness and generalisability across various retinal image datasets. Generally, the recognition performance of lightweight models is often lower than that of large models. Knowledge distillation, by teaching a student model using a teacher model, can further enhance the recognition accuracy of lightweight models. In this paper, we approach knowledge distillation from the perspective of intermediate feature-level knowledge distillation. We combine a cross-stage feature fusion symmetric framework, an attention mechanism to enhance the fused features, and a contrastive loss function for teacher and student models at the same stage to comprehensively implement a multistage feature fusion knowledge distillation method. This approach addresses the problem of significant differences in the intermediate feature distributions between teacher and student models, making it difficult to effectively learn implicit knowledge and thus improving the recognition accuracy of the student model. Compared to existing knowledge distillation methods, our method performs at a superior level. On the CIFAR100 dataset, it boosts the recognition accuracy of ResNet20 from 69.06% to 71.34%, and on the TinyImagenet dataset, it increases the recognition accuracy of ResNet18 from 66.54% to 68.03%, demonstrating the effectiveness and generalizability of our approach. Tabular data analysis is a critical task in various domains, enabling us to uncover valuable insights from structured datasets. While traditional machine learning methods can be used for feature engineering and dimensionality reduction, they often struggle to capture the intricate relationships and dependencies within real-world datasets. In this paper, we present Multi-representation DeepInsight (MRep-DeepInsight), a novel extension of the DeepInsight method designed to enhance the analysis of tabular data. By generating multiple representations of samples using diverse feature extraction techniques, our approach is able to capture a broader range of features and reveal deeper insights. We demonstrate the effectiveness of MRep-DeepInsight on single-cell datasets, Alzheimer's data, and artificial data, showcasing an improved accuracy over the original DeepInsight approach and machine learning methods like random forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, FT-Transformer and L2-regularized logistic regression. Our results highlight the value of incorporating multiple representations for robust and accurate tabular data analysis. In remote sensing image fusion, the conventional Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) extract local features of the image through layered convolution, which is limited by the receptive field and struggles to capture global features. Transformer utilizes self-attention to capture long-distance dependencies in images, which has a global receptive field, but the computational cost for high-resolution images is excessively high. In response to the above issues, this paper draws inspiration from the FusionNet network, harnessing the local detail acquisition capability of CNNs and the global data procuring capacity of Transformer. It presents a novel method for remote sensing image sharpening named Guided Filtering-Cross Stage Partial Network-Transformer, abbreviated as GF-CSTNet. This solution unifies the strengths of Guided Filtering (GF), Cross Stage Partial Network (CSPNet), and Transformer. Firstly, this method utilizes GF to enhance the acquired remote sensing image data. The CSPNet and Transformer structures are then combined to further enhance fusion performance by leveraging their respective advantages. Subsequently, a Rep-Conv2Former method is designed to streamline attention and extract diverse receptive field features through a multi-scale convolution modulator block. Simultaneously, a reparameterization module is constructed to integrate the multiple branches generated during training into a unified branch during inference, thereby optimizing the model's inference speed. Finally, a residual learning module incorporating attention has been devised to augment the modeling and feature extraction capabilities of images. Experimental results obtained from the GaoFen-2 and WorldView-3 datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed GF-CSTNet approach. Effective management of dementia requires the timely detection of mild cognitive impairment (MCI). This paper introduces a multi-objective optimization approach for selecting EEG channels (and features) for the purpose of detecting MCI. Firstly, each EEG signal from each channel is decomposed into subbands using either variational mode decomposition (VMD) or discrete wavelet transform (DWT). A feature is then extracted from each subband using one of the following measures: standard deviation, interquartile range, band power, Teager energy, Katz's and Higuchi's fractal dimensions, Shannon entropy, sure entropy, or threshold entropy. Different machine learning techniques are used to classify the features of MCI cases from those of healthy controls. The classifier's performance is validated using leave-one-subject-out (LOSO) cross-validation (CV). The non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA)-II is designed with the aim of minimizing the number of EEG channels (or features) and maximizing classification accuracy. The performance is evaluated using a publicly available online dataset containing EEGs from 19 channels recorded from 24 participants. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in performance when utilizing the NSGA-II algorithm. By selecting only a few appropriate EEG channels, the LOSO CV-based results show a significant improvement compared to using all 19 channels. Additionally, the outcomes indicate that accuracy can be further improved by selecting suitable features from different channels. For instance, by combining VMD and Teager energy, the SVM accuracy obtained using all channels is 74.24%. Interestingly, when only five channels are selected using NSGA-II, the accuracy increases to 91.56%. The accuracy is further improved to 95.28% when using only 8 features selected from 7 channels. This demonstrates that by choosing informative features or channels while excluding noisy or irrelevant information, the impact of noise is reduced, resulting in improved accuracy. These promising findings indicate that, with a limited number of channels and features, accurate diagnosis of MCI is achievable, which opens the door for its application in clinical practice. In order to solve the difficult portability problem of traditional non-invasive sleeping posture recognition algorithms arising from the production cost and computational cost, this paper proposes a sleeping posture recognition model focusing on human body structural feature extraction and integration of feature space and algorithms based on a specific air-spring mattress structure, called SPR-DE (SPR-DE is the Sleep Posture Recognition-Data Ensemble acronym form). The model combines SMR (SMR stands for Principle of Spearman Maximal Relevance) with horizontal and vertical division based on the barometric pressure signals in the human body's backbone region to reconstruct the raw pressure data into strongly correlated non-image features of the sleep postures in different parts and directions and construct the feature set. Finally, the recognit-ion of the two sleep postures is accomplished using the AdaBoost-SVM integrated classifier. SPR-DE is compared with the base and integrated classifiers to verify its performance. The experimental results show that the amount of significant features helps the algorithm to classify different sleeping patterns more accurately, and the f1 score of the SPR-DE model determined by the comparison experiments is 0.998, and the accuracy can reach 99.9%. Compared with other models, the accuracy is improved by 2.9% ~ 7.7%, and the f1-score is improved by 0.029 ~ 0.076. Therefore, it is concluded that the SMR feature extraction strategy in the SPR-DE model and the AdaBoost-SVM can achieve high accuracy and strong robustness in the task of sleep posture recognition in a small area, low-density air-pressure mattress, taking into account the comfort of the mattress structural design and the sleep posture recognition, integrated with the mattress adaptive adjustment system. Medical image fusion aims to fuse multiple images from a single or multiple imaging modes to enhance their corresponding clinical applications in diagnosing and evaluating medical problems, a trend that has attracted increasing attention. However, most recent medical image fusion methods require prior knowledge, making it difficult to select image features. In this paper, we propose a novel deep medical image fusion method based on a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) for directly learning image features from original images. Specifically, source images are first decomposed by low rank representation to obtain the principal and salient components, respectively. Following that, the deep features are extracted from the decomposed principal components via DCNN and fused by a weighted-average rule. Then, considering the complementary between the salient components obtained by the low rank representation, a simple yet effective sum rule is designed to fuse the salient components. Finally, the fused result is obtained by reconstructing the principal and salient components. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms several state-of-the-art medical image fusion approaches in terms of both objective indices and visual quality. To improve the precision of defect categorization and localization in images, this paper proposes an approach for detecting surface defects in hot-rolled steel strips. The approach uses an improved YOLOv5 network model to overcome the issues of inadequate feature extraction capacity and suboptimal feature integration when identifying surface defects on steel strips. The proposed method achieves higher detection accuracy and localization precision, making it more competitive and applicable in real production. Firstly, the multi-scale feature fusion (MSF) strategy is utilized to fuse shallow and deep features effectively and enrich detailed information relevant to target defects. Secondly, the CSPLayer Res2Attention block (CRA block) residual module is introduced to reduce the loss of defect information during hierarchical transmission, thereby enhancing the extraction of fine-grained features and improving the perception of details and global features. Finally, the experimental results indicate that the mAP on the NEU-DET and GC10-DET datasets approaches 78.5% and 67.3%, respectively, which is 4.9% and 2.1% higher than that of the baseline. Meanwhile, it has higher precision and more precise localization capabilities than other methods. During the manufacturing process of printed circuit boards (PCBs), quality defects can occur, which can affect the performance and reliability of PCBs. Existing deep learning-based PCB defect detection methods are difficult to simultaneously achieve the goals of high detection accuracy, fast detection speed, and small number of parameters. Therefore, this paper proposes a PCB defect detection algorithm based on CDI-YOLO. Firstly, the coordinate attention mechanism (CA) is introduced to improve the backbone and neck network of YOLOv7-tiny, enhance the feature extraction capability of the model, and thus improve the accuracy of model detection. Secondly, DSConv is used to replace part of the common convolution in YOLOv7-tiny to achieve lower computing costs and faster detection speed. Finally, Inner-CIoU is used as the bounding box regression loss function of CDI-YOLO to speed up the bounding box regression process. The experimental results show that the method achieves 98.3% mAP on the PCB defect dataset, the detection speed is 128 frames per second (FPS), the parameters is 5.8 M, and the giga floating-point operations per second (GFLOPs) is 12.6 G. Polyp detection is a challenging task in the diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer (CRC), and it demands clinical expertise due to the diverse nature of polyps. The recent years have witnessed the development of automated polyp detection systems to assist the experts in early diagnosis, considerably reducing the time consumption and diagnostic errors. In automated CRC diagnosis, polyp segmentation is an important step which is carried out with deep learning segmentation models. Recently, Vision Transformers (ViT) are slowly replacing these models due to their ability to capture long range dependencies among image patches. However, the existing ViTs for polyp do not harness the inherent self-attention abilities and incorporate complex attention mechanisms. This paper presents Polyp-Vision Transformer (Polyp-ViT), a novel Transformer model based on the conventional Transformer architecture, which is enhanced with adaptive mechanisms for feature extraction and positional embedding. Polyp-ViT is tested on the Kvasir-seg and CVC-Clinic DB Datasets achieving segmentation accuracies of 0.9891 ± 0.01 and 0.9875 ± 0.71 respectively, outperforming state-of-the-art models. Low-rate distributed denial of service attacks, as known as LDDoS attacks, pose the notorious security risks in cloud computing network. They overload the cloud servers and degrade network service quality with the stealthy strategy. Furthermore, this kind of small ratio and pulse-like abnormal traffic leads to a serious data scale problem. As a result, the existing models for detecting minority and adversary LDDoS attacks are insufficient in both detection accuracy and time consumption. This paper proposes a novel multi-scale Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and bidirectional Long-short Term Memory (bi-LSTM) arbitration dense network model (called MSCBL-ADN) for learning and detecting LDDoS attack behaviors under the condition of limited dataset and time consumption. The MSCBL-ADN incorporates CNN for preliminary spatial feature extraction and embedding-based bi-LSTM for time relationship extraction. And then, it employs arbitration network to re-weigh feature importance for higher accuracy. At last, it uses 2-block dense connection network to perform final classification. The experimental results conducted on popular ISCX-2016-SlowDos dataset have demonstrated that the proposed MSCBL-ADN model has a significant improvement with high detection accuracy and superior time performance over the state-of-the-art models. Gliomas are primary brain tumors caused by glial cells. These cancers' classification and grading are crucial for prognosis and treatment planning. Deep learning (DL) can potentially improve the digital pathology investigation of brain tumors. In this paper, we developed a technique for visualizing a predictive tumor grading model on histopathology pictures to help guide doctors by emphasizing characteristics and heterogeneity in forecasts. The proposed technique is a hybrid model based on YOLOv5 and ResNet50. The function of YOLOv5 is to localize and classify the tumor in large histopathological whole slide images (WSIs). The suggested technique incorporates ResNet into the feature extraction of the YOLOv5 framework, and the detection results show that our hybrid network is effective for identifying brain tumors from histopathological images. Next, we estimate the glioma grades using the extreme gradient boosting classifier. The high-dimensional characteristics and nonlinear interactions present in histopathology images are well-handled by this classifier. DL techniques have been used in previous computer-aided diagnosis systems for brain tumor diagnosis. However, by combining the YOLOv5 and ResNet50 architectures into a hybrid model specifically designed for accurate tumor localization and predictive grading within histopathological WSIs, our study presents a new approach that advances the field. By utilizing the advantages of both models, this creative integration goes beyond traditional techniques to produce improved tumor localization accuracy and thorough feature extraction. Additionally, our method ensures stable training dynamics and strong model performance by integrating ResNet50 into the YOLOv5 framework, addressing concerns about gradient explosion. The proposed technique is tested using the cancer genome atlas dataset. During the experiments, our model outperforms the other standard ways on the same dataset. Our results indicate that the proposed hybrid model substantially impacts tumor subtype discrimination between low-grade glioma (LGG) II and LGG III. With 97.2% of accuracy, 97.8% of precision, 98.6% of sensitivity, and the Dice similarity coefficient of 97%, the proposed model performs well in classifying four grades. These results outperform current approaches for identifying LGG from high-grade glioma and provide competitive performance in classifying four categories of glioma in the literature. The pooling layer in convolutional neural networks plays a crucial role in reducing spatial dimensions, and improving computational efficiency. However, standard pooling operations such as max pooling or average pooling are not suitable for all applications and data types. Therefore, developing custom pooling layers that can adaptively learn and extract relevant features from specific datasets is of great significance. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to design and implement customizable pooling layers to enhance feature extraction capabilities in CNNs. The proposed T-Max-Avg pooling layer incorporates a threshold parameter T, which selects the K highest interacting pixels as specified, allowing it to control whether the output features of the input data are based on the maximum values or weighted averages. By learning the optimal pooling strategy during training, our custom pooling layer can effectively capture and represent discriminative information in the input data, thereby improving classification performance. Experimental results show that the proposed T-Max-Avg pooling layer achieves good performance on three different datasets. When compared to LeNet-5 model with average pooling, max pooling, and Avg-TopK methods, the T-Max-Avg pooling method achieves the highest accuracy on CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100, and MNIST datasets. Traffic time series anomaly detection has been intensively studied for years because of its potential applications in intelligent transportation. However, classical traffic anomaly detection methods often overlook the evolving dynamic associations between road network nodes, which leads to challenges in capturing the long-term temporal correlations, spatial characteristics, and abnormal node behaviors in datasets with high periodicity and trends, such as morning peak travel periods. In this paper, we propose a mirror temporal graph autoencoder (MTGAE) framework to explore anomalies and capture unseen nodes and the spatiotemporal correlation between nodes in the traffic network. Specifically, we propose the mirror temporal convolutional module to enhance feature extraction capabilities and capture hidden node-to-node features in the traffic network. Morever, we propose the graph convolutional gate recurrent unit cell (GCGRU CELL) module. This module uses Gaussian kernel functions to map data into a high-dimensional space, and enables the identification of anomalous information and potential anomalies within the complex interdependencies of the traffic network, based on prior knowledge and input data. We compared our work with several other advanced deep-learning anomaly detection models. This paper proposes an approach to enhance the differentiation task between benign and malignant Breast Tumors (BT) using histopathology images from the BreakHis dataset. The main stages involve preprocessing, which encompasses image resizing, data partitioning (training and testing sets), followed by data augmentation techniques. Both feature extraction and classification tasks are employed by a Custom CNN. The experimental results show that the proposed approach using the Custom CNN model exhibits better performance with an accuracy of 84% than applying the same approach using other pretrained models, including MobileNetV3, EfficientNetB0, Vgg16, and ResNet50V2, that present relatively lower accuracies, ranging from 74 to 82%; these four models are used as both feature extractors and classifiers. To increase the accuracy and other performance metrics, Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO), and Modified Gorilla Troops Optimization (MGTO) metaheuristic optimizers are applied to each model separately for hyperparameter tuning. In this case, the experimental results show that the Custom CNN model, refined with MGTO optimization, reaches an exceptional accuracy of 93.13% in just 10 iterations, outperforming the other state-of-the-art methods, and the other four used pretrained models based on the BreakHis dataset. Abstract Advances in computer image recognition have significantly impacted many industries, including healthcare, security and autonomous systems. This paper aims to explore the potential of improving image algorithms to enhance computer image recognition. Specifically, we will focus on regression methods as a means to improve the accuracy and efficiency of identifying images. In this study, we will analyze various regression techniques and their applications in computer image recognition, as well as the resulting performance improvements through detailed examples and data analysis. This paper deals with the problems related to visual image processing in outdoor unstructured environment. Finally, the heterogeneous patterns are converted into the same pattern, and the heterogeneous patterns are extracted from the fusion features of data modes. The simulation results show that the perception ability and recognition ability of outdoor image recognition in complex environment are improved.

Detecting the water deficit status of vertical greenery plants rapidly and accurately is a significant challenge in the process of cultivating and planting greenery plants. Currently, the mainstream method involves utilizing a single target detection algorithm for this task. However, in complex real-world scenarios, the accuracy of detection is influenced by factors such as image quality and background environment. Therefore, we propose a multi-stage progressive detection method aimed at enhancing detection accuracy by gradually filtering, processing, and detecting images through a multi-stage architecture. Additionally, to reduce the additional computational load brought by multiple stages and improve overall detection efficiency, we introduce a Swin Transformer based on mobile windows and hierarchical representations for feature extraction, along with global feature modeling through a self-attention mechanism. The experimental results demonstrate that our multi-stage detection approach achieves high accuracy in vertical greenery plants detection tasks, with an average precision of 93.5%. The imbalance of land cover categories is a common problem. Some categories appear less frequently in the image, while others may occupy the vast majority of the proportion. This imbalance can lead the classifier to tend to predict categories with higher frequency of occurrence, while the recognition effect on minority categories is poor. In view of the difficulty of land cover remote sensing image multi-target semantic classification, a semantic classification method of land cover remote sensing image based on depth deconvolution neural network is proposed. In this method, the land cover remote sensing image semantic segmentation algorithm based on depth deconvolution neural network is used to segment the land cover remote sensing image with multi-target semantic segmentation; Four semantic features of color, texture, shape and size in land cover remote sensing image are extracted by using the semantic feature extraction method of remote sensing image based on improved sequential clustering algorithm; The classification and recognition method of remote sensing image semantic features based on random forest algorithm is adopted to classify and identify four semantic feature types of land cover remote sensing image, and realize the semantic classification of land cover remote sensing image. Accurate labeling of lung nodules in computed tomography (CT) images is crucial in early lung cancer diagnosis and before nodule resection surgery. However, the irregular shape of lung nodules in CT images and the complex lung environment make it much more challenging to segment lung nodules accurately. On this basis, we propose an improved V-Net segmentation method based on pixel threshold separation and attention mechanism for lung nodules. This method first offers a data augment strategy to solve the problem of insufficient samples in 3D medical datasets. In addition, we integrate the feature extraction module based on pixel threshold separation into the model to enhance the feature extraction ability under different thresholds on the one hand. On the other hand, the model introduces channel and spatial attention modules to make the model pay more attention to important semantic information and improve its generalization ability and accuracy. Experiments show that the Dice similarity coefficients of the improved model on the public datasets LUNA16 and LNDb are 94.9% and 81.1% respectively, and the sensitivities reach 92.7% and 76.9% respectively. which is superior to most existing UNet architecture models and comparable to the manual level segmentation results by medical technologists. Fraud seriously threatens individual interests and social stability, so fraud detection has attracted much attention in recent years. In scenarios such as social media, fraudsters typically hide among numerous benign users, constituting only a small minority and often forming "small gangs". Due to the scarcity of fraudsters, the conventional graph neural network might overlook or obscure critical fraud information, leading to insufficient representation of fraud characteristics. To address these issues, the tran-smote on graphs (GTS) method for fraud detection is proposed by this study. Structural features of each type of node are deeply mined using a subgraph neural network extractor, these features are integrated with attribute features using transformer technology, and the node's information representation is enriched, thereby addressing the issue of inadequate feature representation. Additionally, this approach involves setting a feature embedding space to generate new nodes representing minority classes, and an edge generator is used to provide relevant connection information for these new nodes, alleviating the class imbalance problem. The study aims to investigate the predictive capability of machine learning algorithms for omental metastasis in locally advanced gastric cancer (LAGC) and to compare the performance metrics of various machine learning predictive models. A retrospective collection of 478 pathologically confirmed LAGC patients was undertaken, encompassing both clinical features and arterial phase computed tomography images. Radiomic features were extracted using 3D Slicer software. Clinical and radiomic features were further filtered through lasso regression. Selected clinical and radiomic features were used to construct omental metastasis predictive models using support vector machine (SVM), decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), K-nearest neighbors (KNN), and logistic regression (LR). The models' performance metrics included accuracy, area under the curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic curve, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV). In the training cohort, the RF predictive model surpassed LR, SVM, DT, and KNN in terms of accuracy, AUC, sensitivity, specificity, PPV, and NPV. Compared to the other four predictive models, the RF model significantly improved PPV. In the test cohort, all five machine learning predictive models exhibited lower PPVs. The DT model demonstrated the most significant variation in performance metrics relative to the other models, with a sensitivity of 0.231 and specificity of 0.990. The LR-based predictive model had the lowest PPV at 0.210, compared to the other four models. In the external validation cohort, the performance metrics of the predictive models were generally consistent with those in the test cohort. The LR-based model for predicting omental metastasis exhibited a lower PPV. In the realm of marine environmental engineering, the swift and accurate detection of underwater targets is of considerable significance. Recently, methods based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) have been applied to enhance the detection of such targets. However, deep neural networks usually require a large number of parameters, resulting in slow processing speed. Meanwhile, existing methods present challenges in accurate detection when facing small and densely arranged underwater targets. To address these issues, we propose a new neural network model, YOLOv8-LA, for improving the detection performance of underwater targets. First, we design a Lightweight Efficient Partial Convolution (LEPC) module to optimize spatial feature extraction by selectively processing input channels to improve efficiency and significantly reduce redundant computation and storage requirements. Second, we developed the AP-FasterNet architecture for small targets that are commonly found in underwater datasets. By integrating depth-separable convolutions with different expansion rates into FasterNet, AP-FasterNet enhances the model's ability to capture detailed features of small targets. Finally, we integrate the lightweight and efficient content-aware reorganization (CARAFE) up-sampling operation into YOLOv8 to enhance the model performance by aggregating contextual information over a large perceptual field and mitigating information loss during up-sampling.Evaluation results on the URPC2021 dataset show that the YOLOv8-LA model achieves 84.7% mean accuracy (mAP) on a single Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 and operates at 189.3 frames per second (FPS), demonstrating that it outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods in terms of performance. Grape cultivation is important globally, contributing to the agricultural economy and providing diverse grape-based products. However, the susceptibility of grapes to disease poses a significant threat to yield and quality. Traditional disease identification methods demand expert knowledge, which limits scalability and efficiency. To address these limitations our research aims to design an automated deep learning approach for grape leaf disease detection. This research introduces a novel dual-track network for classifying grape leaf diseases, employing a combination of the Swin Transformer and Group Shuffle Residual DeformNet (GSRDN) tracks. The Swin Transformer track exploits shifted window techniques to construct hierarchical feature maps, enhancing global feature extraction. Simultaneously, the GSRDN track combines Group Shuffle Depthwise Residual block and Deformable Convolution block to extract local features with reduced computational complexity. The features from both tracks are concatenated and processed through Triplet Attention for cross-dimensional interaction. The proposed model achieved an accuracy of 98.6%, the precision, recall, and F1-score are recorded as 98.7%, 98.59%, and 98.64%, respectively as validated on a dataset containing grape leaf disease information from the PlantVillage dataset, demonstrating its potential for efficient grape disease classification. During nighttime road scenes, images are often affected by contrast distortion, loss of detailed information, and a significant amount of noise. These factors can negatively impact the accuracy of segmentation and object detection in nighttime road scenes. A cycle-consistent generative adversarial network has been proposed to address this issue to improve the quality of nighttime road scene images. The network includes two generative networks with identical structures and two adversarial networks with identical structures. The generative network comprises an encoder network and a corresponding decoder network. A context feature extraction module is designed as the foundational element of the encoder-decoder network to capture more contextual semantic information with different receptive fields. A receptive field residual module is also designed to increase the receptive field in the encoder network.The illumination attention module is inserted between the encoder and decoder to transfer critical features extracted by the encoder to the decoder. The network also includes a multiscale discriminative network to discriminate better whether the image is a real high-quality or generated image. Additionally, an improved loss function is proposed to enhance the efficacy of image enhancement. According to the literature, seizure prediction models should be developed following a patient-specific approach. However, seizures are usually very rare events, meaning the number of events that may be used to optimise seizure prediction approaches is limited. To overcome such constraint, we analysed the possibility of using data from patients from an external database to improve patient-specific seizure prediction models. We present seizure prediction models trained using a transfer learning procedure. We trained a deep convolutional autoencoder using electroencephalogram data from 41 patients collected from the EPILEPSIAE database. Then, a bidirectional long short-term memory and a classifier layers were added on the top of the encoder part and were optimised for 24 patients from the Universitätsklinikum Freiburg individually. The encoder was used as a feature extraction module. Therefore, its weights were not changed during the patient-specific training. Experimental results showed that seizure prediction models optimised using pretrained weights present about four times fewer false alarms while maintaining the same ability to predict seizures and achieved more 13% validated patients. Therefore, results evidenced that the optimisation using transfer learning was more stable and faster, saving computational resources. In summary, adopting transfer learning for seizure prediction models represents a significant advancement. It addresses the data limitation seen in the seizure prediction field and offers more efficient and stable training, conserving computational resources. Additionally, despite the compact size, transfer learning allows to easily share data knowledge due to fewer ethical restrictions and lower storage requirements. In human–computer interaction systems, speech emotion recognition (SER) plays a crucial role because it enables computers to understand and react to users' emotions. In the past, SER has significantly emphasised acoustic properties extracted from speech signals. The use of visual signals for enhancing SER performance, however, has been made possible by recent developments in deep learning and computer vision. This work utilizes a lightweight Vision Transformer (ViT) model to propose a novel method for improving speech emotion recognition. We leverage the ViT model's capabilities to capture spatial dependencies and high-level features in images which are adequate indicators of emotional states from mel spectrogram input fed into the model. To determine the efficiency of our proposed approach, we conduct a comprehensive experiment on two benchmark speech emotion datasets, the Toronto English Speech Set (TESS) and the Berlin Emotional Database (EMODB). The results of our extensive experiment demonstrate a considerable improvement in speech emotion recognition accuracy attesting to its generalizability as it achieved 98%, 91%, and 93% (TESS-EMODB) accuracy respectively on the datasets. The outcomes of the comparative experiment show that the non-overlapping patch-based feature extraction method substantially improves the discipline of speech emotion recognition. Our research indicates the potential for integrating vision transformer models into SER systems, opening up fresh opportunities for real-world applications requiring accurate emotion recognition from speech compared with other state-of-the-art techniques. Skin cancer is one of the most life-threatening diseases caused by the abnormal growth of the skin cells, when exposed to ultraviolet radiation. Early detection seems to be more crucial for reducing aberrant cell proliferation because the mortality rate is rapidly rising. Although multiple researches are available based on the skin cancer detection, there still exists challenges in improving the accuracy, reducing the computational time and so on. In this research, a novel skin cancer detection is performed using a modified falcon finch deep Convolutional neural network classifier (Modified Falcon finch deep CNN) that efficiently detects the disease with higher efficiency. The usage of modified falcon finch deep CNN classifier effectively analyzed the information relevant to the skin cancer and the errors are also minimized. The inclusion of the falcon finch optimization in the deep CNN classifier is necessary for efficient parameter tuning. This tuning enhanced the robustness and boosted the convergence of the classifier that detects the skin cancer in less stipulated time. The modified falcon finch deep CNN classifier achieved accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity values of 93.59%, 92.14%, and 95.22% regarding k-fold and 96.52%, 96.69%, and 96.54% regarding training percentage, proving more effective than literary works. Spectrum feature extraction plays a crucial role in identifying seismic events and calculating structural response parameters. However, the criteria for identifying effective modal components in Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) are not well-defined, resulting in inaccurate spectrum feature extraction. To address this issue, we propose a novel spectrum feature extraction method that combines Allan variance, VMD, and power spectral density (PSD). Firstly, VMD is applied to filter noise components from triaxial accelerometer observations and add effective signals. Secondly, PSD is utilized to extract three groups of seismic frequencies (tri-axial accelerometers). Finally, the Allan method is introduced to identify the group of accelerometer observations with the highest reliability as the vibration frequency caused by the seismic excitation. We validate the effectiveness of our method by analyzing a Mw 2.6 micro-seismic event that occurred in Huairou, Beijing in 2022. The result shows that our proposed method accurately extracts spectrum features of the Great Wall. Specifically, the seismic excitation vibration frequencies at four monitoring stations were found to be 26.95 Hz, 12.89 Hz, 12.89 Hz, and 12.5 Hz. These findings underscore our method's utility in evaluating the Great Wall's structural response to seismic loading, which has significant implications for the conservation and protection of heritage structures. Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disease, characterized by spontaneous, unprovoked, recurrent seizures that may lead to long-term disability and premature death. Despite significant efforts made to improve epilepsy detection clinically and pre-clinically, the pervasive presence of noise in EEG signals continues to pose substantial challenges to their effective application. In addition, discriminant features for epilepsy detection have not been investigated yet. The objective of this study is to develop a hybrid model for epilepsy detection from noisy and fragmented EEG signals. We hypothesized that a hybrid model could surpass existing single models in epilepsy detection. Our approach involves manual noise rejection and a novel statistical channel selection technique to detect epilepsy even from noisy EEG signals. Our proposed Base-2-Meta stacking classifier achieved notable accuracy (0.98 ± 0.05), precision (0.98 ± 0.07), recall (0.98 ± 0.05), and F1 score (0.98 ± 0.04) even with noisy 5-s segmented EEG signals. Application of our approach to the specific problem like detection of epilepsy from noisy and fragmented EEG data reveals a performance that is not only superior to others, but also is translationally relevant, highlighting its potential application in a clinic setting, where EEG signals are often noisy or scanty. Our proposed metric DF-A (Discriminant feature-accuracy), for the first time, identified the most discriminant feature with models that give A accuracy or above (A = 95 used in this study). This groundbreaking approach allows for detecting discriminant features and can be used as potential electrographic biomarkers in epilepsy detection research. What determines the outcome of a shot (scored or unscored) in football (soccer)? Numerous studies have investigated various aspects of this question, including the skills and physical/mental state of the shooter or goalkeeper, the positional information of shots, as well as the attacking styles and defensive formations of the opposing team. However, a critical question has received limited attention: How does the passing path affect the outcome of a shot? In other words, does the path of the ball before shooting significantly influence the result when the same player takes two shots from the same location? This study aims to fill the gap in the literature by conducting qualitative studies using a dataset comprising 34,938 shots, along with corresponding passing paths from top-tier football leagues and international competitions such as the World Cup. Eighteen path features were extracted and applied to three different machine-learning models. The results indicate that the passing path, whether with or without the positional information of shots, can indeed predict shooting outcomes and reveal influential path features. Moreover, it suggests that taking quick actions to move the ball across areas with a high probability of scoring a goal can significantly increases the chance of a successful shot. Interestingly, certain path features that are commonly considered important for team performance, such as the distribution of passes among players and the overall path length, were found to be less significant for shooting outcomes. These findings enhance our understanding of the effective ball-passing and provide valuable insights into the critical factors for achieving successful shots in football games. Graph domain adaptation (GDA) aims to address the challenge of limited label data in the target graph domain. Existing methods such as UDAGCN, GRADE, DEAL, and COCO for different-level (node-level, graph-level) adaptation tasks exhibit variations in domain feature extraction, and most of them solely rely on representation alignment to transfer label information from a labeled source domain to an unlabeled target domain. However, this approach can be influenced by irrelevant information and usually ignores the conditional shift of the downstream predictor. To effectively address this issue, we introduce a target-oriented unsupervised graph domain adaptive framework for graph adaptation called TO-UGDA. Particularly, domain-invariant feature representations are extracted using graph information bottleneck. The discrepancy between two domains is minimized using an adversarial alignment strategy to obtain a unified feature distribution. Hepatitis C, a particularly dangerous form of viral hepatitis caused by hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, is a major socio-economic and public health problem. Due to the rapid development of deep learning, it has become a common practice to apply deep learning to the healthcare industry to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of disease identification. In order to improve the effectiveness and accuracy of hepatitis C detection, this study proposes an improved denoising autoencoder (IDAE) and applies it to hepatitis C disease detection. Conventional denoising autoencoder introduces random noise at the input layer of the encoder. However, due to the presence of these features, encoders that directly add random noise may mask certain intrinsic properties of the data, making it challenging to learn deeper features. In this study, the problem of data information loss in traditional denoising autoencoding is addressed by incorporating the concept of residual neural networks into an enhanced denoising autoencoder. In our experimental study, we applied this enhanced denoising autoencoder to the open-source Hepatitis C dataset and the results showed significant results in feature extraction. While existing baseline machine learning methods have less than 90% accuracy and integrated algorithms and traditional autoencoders have only 95% correctness, the improved IDAE achieves 99% accuracy in the downstream hepatitis C classification task, which is a 9% improvement over a single algorithm, and a nearly 4% improvement over integrated algorithms and other autoencoders. The above results demonstrate that IDAE can effectively capture key disease features and improve the accuracy of disease prediction in hepatitis C data. This indicates that IDAE has the potential to be widely used in the detection and management of hepatitis C and similar diseases, especially in the development of early warning systems, progression prediction and personalised treatment strategies. Gastric cancer is a highly prevalent disease that poses a serious threat to public health. In clinical practice, gastroscopy is frequently used by medical practitioners to screen for gastric cancer. However, the symptoms of gastric cancer at different stages of advancement vary significantly, particularly in the case of early gastric cancer (EGC). The manifestations of EGC are often indistinct, leading to a detection rate of less than 10%. In recent years, researchers have focused on leveraging deep learning algorithms to assist medical professionals in detecting EGC and thereby improve detection rates. To enhance the ability of deep learning to detect EGC and segment lesions in gastroscopic images, an Improved Mask R-CNN (IMR-CNN) model was proposed. This model incorporates a "Bi-directional feature extraction and fusion module" and a "Purification module for feature channel and space" based on the Mask R-CNN (MR-CNN). Our study includes a dataset of 1120 images of EGC for training and validation of the models. The experimental results indicate that the IMR-CNN model outperforms the original MR-CNN model, with Precision, Recall, Accuracy, Specificity and F1-Score values of 92.9%, 95.3%, 93.9%, 92.5% and 94.1%, respectively. Intelligent detection of athlete behavior is beneficial for guiding sports instruction. Existing mature target detection algorithms provide significant support for this task. However, large-scale target detection algorithms often encounter more challenges in practical application scenarios. We propose SCB-YOLOv5, to detect standardized movements of gymnasts. First, the movements of aerobics athletes were captured, labeled using the labelImg software, and utilized to establish the athlete normative behavior dataset, which was then enhanced by the dataset augmentation using Mosaic9. Then, we improved the YOLOv5 by (1) incorporating the structures of ShuffleNet V2 and convolutional block attention module to reconstruct the Backbone, effectively reducing the parameter size while maintaining network feature extraction capability; (2) adding a weighted bidirectional feature pyramid network into the multiscale feature fusion, to acquire precise channel and positional information through the global receptive field of feature maps. Finally, SCB-YOLOv5 was lighter by 56.9% than YOLOv5. The detection precision is 93.7%, with a recall of 99% and mAP value of 94.23%. This represents a 3.53% improvement compared to the original algorithm. Extensive experiments have verified that our method. SCB-YOLOv5 can meet the requirements for on-site athlete action detection. The six-dimensional (6D) pose object estimation is a key task in robotic manipulation and grasping scenes. Many existing two-stage solutions with a slow inference speed require extra refinement to handle the challenges of variations in lighting, sensor noise, object occlusion, and truncation. To address these challenges, this work proposes a decoupled one-stage network (DON6D) model for 6D pose estimation that improves inference speed on the premise of maintaining accuracy. Particularly, since the RGB images are aligned with the RGB-D images, the proposed DON6D first uses a two-dimensional detection network to locate the interested objects in RGB-D images. Then, a module of feature extraction and fusion is used to extract color and geometric features fully. Further, dual data augmentation is performed to enhance the generalization ability of the proposed model. Finally, the features are fused, and an attention residual encoder–decoder, which can improve the pose estimation performance to obtain an accurate 6D pose, is introduced. The proposed DON6D model is evaluated on the LINEMOD and YCB-Video datasets. Software vulnerabilities pose a significant threat to system security, necessitating effective automatic detection methods. Current techniques face challenges such as dependency issues, language bias, and coarse detection granularity. This study presents a novel deep learning-based vulnerability detection system for Java code. Leveraging hybrid feature extraction through graph and sequence-based techniques enhances semantic and syntactic understanding. The system utilizes control flow graphs (CFG), abstract syntax trees (AST), program dependencies (PD), and greedy longest-match first vectorization for graph representation. A hybrid neural network (GCN-RFEMLP) and the pre-trained CodeBERT model extract features, feeding them into a quantum convolutional neural network with self-attentive pooling. The system addresses issues like long-term information dependency and coarse detection granularity, employing intermediate code representation and inter-procedural slice code. To mitigate language bias, a benchmark software assurance reference dataset is employed. Evaluations demonstrate the system's superiority, achieving 99.2% accuracy in detecting vulnerabilities, outperforming benchmark methods. Along with the progress of natural language processing technology and deep learning, the subjectivity, slow feedback, and long grading time of traditional English essay grading have been addressed. Intelligent English automatic scoring has been widely concerned by scholars. Given the limitations of topic relevance feature extraction methods and traditional automatic grading methods for English compositions, a topic decision model is proposed to calculate the topic relevance score of the topic richness in English composition. Then, based on the Score of Relevance Based on Topic Richness (TRSR) calculation method, an intelligent English composition scoring method combining artificial feature extraction and deep learning is designed. From the findings, the Topic Decision (TD) model achieved the best effect only when it was iterated 80 times. The corresponding accuracy, recall and F1 value were 0.97, 0.93 and 0.95 respectively. The model training loss finally stabilized at 0.03. This research explores the use of gated recurrent units (GRUs) for automated brain tumor detection using MRI data. The GRU model captures sequential patterns and considers spatial information within individual MRI images and the temporal evolution of lesion characteristics. The proposed approach improves the accuracy of tumor detection using MRI images. The model's performance is benchmarked against conventional CNNs and other recurrent architectures. The research addresses interpretability concerns by employing attention mechanisms that highlight salient features contributing to the model's decisions. The proposed model attention-gated recurrent units (A-GRU) results show promising results, indicating that the proposed model surpasses the state-of-the-art models in terms of accuracy and obtained 99.32% accuracy. The complexity of localising the epileptogenic zone (EZ) contributes to surgical resection failures in achieving seizure freedom. The distinct patterns of epileptiform activity during interictal and ictal phases, varying across patients, often lead to suboptimal localisation using electroencephalography (EEG) features. We posed two key questions: whether neural signals reflecting epileptogenicity generalise from interictal to ictal time windows within each patient, and whether epileptiform patterns generalise across patients. Utilising an intracranial EEG dataset from 55 patients, we extracted a large battery of simple to complex features from stereo-EEG (SEEG) and electrocorticographic (ECoG) neural signals during interictal and ictal windows. Our features (n = 34) quantified many aspects of the signals including statistical moments, complexities, frequency-domain and cross-channel network attributes. Decision tree classifiers were then trained and tested on distinct time windows and patients to evaluate the generalisability of epileptogenic patterns across time and patients, respectively. Evidence strongly supported generalisability from interictal to ictal time windows across patients, particularly in signal power and high-frequency network-based features. Consistent patterns of epileptogenicity were observed across time windows within most patients, and signal features of epileptogenic regions generalised across patients, with higher generalisability in the ictal window. Signal complexity features were particularly contributory in cross-patient generalisation across patients. These findings offer insights into generalisable features of epileptic neural activity across time and patients, with implications for future automated approaches to supplement other EZ localisation methods. The classroom video has a complex background and dense targets. This study utilizes small object detection technology to analyze and evaluate students' behavior in the classroom, aiming to objectively and accurately assess classroom quality. Firstly, noise is removed from the images using a median filter, and the contrast of the images is enhanced through histogram equalization. Label smoothing is applied to reduce the model's sensitivity to labels. Then, features are extracted from the preprocessed images, and multi-scale feature fusion is employed to enhance semantic expression across multiple scales. Finally, a combination loss function is utilized to improve the accuracy of multi-object recognition tasks. Real-time detection of students' behaviors in the classroom is performed based on the small object detection model. The average head-up rate in the classroom is calculated, and the quality of teaching is evaluated and analyzed.
