Immunogenic cell death (ICD) is a newly discovered form of cellular demise that triggers adaptive immune responses mediated by T cells. However, the immunogenic cell death-related lncRNAs (ICDRLs) involved in bladder cancer (BC) development and progression remain to be further elucidated. Molecular profiling data and clinicopathological information for BC patients were obtained from TCGA, and the ICDRGs list was obtained from published literature. For the identification of ICDRLs, Pearson co-expression analysis was performed, and a prognostic signature based on 13 ICDRLs was constructed by univariate assays and LASSO assays. Herein, an ICDRLSig consisting of 13 ICDRLs was constructed. KM curves and ROC curves demonstrated that the constructed signature in the TCGA training, testing, entire and external sets have good predictive performance. Multivariate assays illuminated that the signature is an independent predictor for BC patients' OS, exhibiting greater predictive power for the survival than traditional clinicopathological features. Additionally, patients in the high-ICDRLSig risk subgroup had more abundant immune infiltration, higher immune checkpoint gene expression, lower TMB and poorer response to immunotherapy. Efficient specialized vehicle cooperative scheduling is significant for airport operations, particularly during times of high traffic, which reduces the risk of flight delays and increases customer satisfaction. In this paper,we construct a multi-type vehicles collaborative scheduling model with the objectives of minimizing vehicle travel distance and vehicle waiting time. Additionally, a three-layer genetic algorithm is designed, and the crossover and mutation operations are enhanced to address the scheduling model. Due to the numerous uncertainties and stochastic interferences in airport operations, conventional scheduling methods unable to effectively address these challenges, this paper combines improved genetic algorithm, simulation algorithm, and digital twins technology, proposing a multi-strategy scheduling framework for specialized vehicles based on digital twins. The scheduling framework utilises digital twins to capture dynamic data from the airport and continuously adjusts the scheduling plan through the scheduling strategy to ensure robust scheduling for specialized vehicles. In the event of severe delays at the airport, fast and efficient re-scheduling can be achieved. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheduling framework is validated using domestic flight data, and extensive experiments and analyses are conducted in different scenarios. Our study aimed to investigate the relationship between sleep–wake changes and depressive symptoms events among midlife women. We enrolled 1579 women aged 44–56 years who had no clinically relevant depressive symptoms at baseline. Depressive symptoms were assessed at each visit using the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale. At the third and fourth follow-up visits, women reported their sleep habits. The sleep midpoint was defined as the time to fall asleep plus one-half of the sleep duration. Sleep–wake changes were determined by the difference in the midpoint of sleep between the third and fourth visits, which were 1 year apart. The median follow-up time was 7 years (range 1–7 years). Cox proportional hazard models were fitted to calculate hazard ratios and 95% confidence intervals for the incidence of depressive symptoms associated with sleep–wake changes. After adjusting for potential confounding factors, the hazard ratio (95% confidence interval) of depressive symptoms for severe sleep midpoint changes was 1.51 (1.12, 2.05) compared with mild sleep midpoint changes. This relationship remained statistically significant and changed little when additionally controlling for sleep duration, sleep quality, insomnia symptoms, use of sleep medications, use of nervous medications, glucose, insulin, lipids, dietary energy intake, and C-reactive protein. In this work, an innovative design model aimed at enhancing the efficacy of ground-state probabilistic logic with a binary energy landscape (GSPL-BEL) is presented. This model enables the direct conversion of conventional CMOS-based logic circuits into corresponding probabilistic graphical representations based on a given truth table. Compared to the conventional approach of solving the configuration of Ising model-basic probabilistic gates through linear programming, our model directly provides configuration parameters with embedded many-body interactions. For larger-scale probabilistic logic circuits, the GSPL-BEL model can fully utilize the dimensions of many-body interactions, achieving minimal node overhead while ensuring the simplest binary energy landscape and circumventing additional logic synthesis steps. To validate its effectiveness, hardware implementations of probabilistic logic gates were conducted. Probabilistic bits were introduced as Ising cells, and cascaded conventional XNOR gates along with passive resistor networks were precisely designed to realize many-body interactions. HSPICE circuit simulation results demonstrate that the probabilistic logic circuits designed based on this model can successfully operate in free, forward, and reverse modes, exhibiting the simplest binary probability distributions. For a 2-bit × 2-bit integer factorizer involving many-body interactions, compared to the logic synthesis approach, the GSPL-BEL model significantly reduces the number of consumed nodes, the solution space (in the free-run mode), and the number of energy levels from 12, 4096, and 9–8, 256, and 2, respectively. Our findings demonstrate the significant potential of the GSPL-BEL model in optimizing the structure and performance of probabilistic logic circuits, offering a new robust tool for the design and implementation of future probabilistic computing systems. The relationship between bone mineral density and type 2 diabetes is still controversial. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and bone mineral density (BMD) in elderly men and postmenopausal women. The participants in this study included 692 postmenopausal women and older men aged ≥ 50 years, who were divided into the T2DM group and non-T2DM control group according to whether or not they had T2DM. The data of participants in the two groups were collected from the inpatient medical record system and physical examination center systems, respectively, of the Tertiary Class A Hospital. All data analysis is performed in SPSS Software. Compared with all T2DM group, the BMD and T scores of lumbar spines 1–4 (L1–L4), left femoral neck (LFN) and all left hip joints (LHJ) in the non-T2DM group were significantly lower than those in the T2DM group (P < 0.05), and the probability of major osteoporotic fracture in the next 10 years (PMOF) was significantly higher than that in T2DM group (P < 0.001). However, with the prolongation of the course of T2DM, the BMD significantly decreased, while fracture risk and the prevalence of osteoporosis significantly increased (P < 0.05). We also found that the BMD of L1-4, LFN and LHJ were negatively correlated with homeostatic model assessment-insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) (P = 0.028, P = 0.01 and P = 0.047, respectively). The results also showed that the BMD of LHJ was positively correlated with indirect bilirubin (IBIL) (P = 0.018). Although the BMD was lower in the non-T2DM group than in the T2DM group, the prolongation of the course of T2DM associated with the lower BMD. And the higher prevalence of osteoporosis and fracture risk significantly associated with the prolongation of the course of T2DM. The duration-of-fertility (DF), which was defined as the number of days when breeding hens lay fertile eggs following copulation or artificial insemination (AI), is an important economic trait in chick production when it has strong effects on fertile egg output and production costs. Little is known about the underlying genes and molecular markers related to DF trait to date. Here, we measured the DF of 701 Chinese Jinghong hens and 408 Jingfen hens. The DF showed high individual variability and potential for genetic improvement. Then, 192 Jinghong breeding hens were provided for a genome-wide association study, 27 SNPs respectively located in three genomic linkage regions (GGA1:41Kb; GGA3:39Kb and GGA8:39Kb) were suggested to be significantly associated with DF. Particularly, 6 of these 27 SNPs were further verified to be associated with DF in the 701 Jinghong and 408 Jingfen hens using PCR-RFLP genotyping method. These 27 SNPs were also mapped to 7 genes according to their genomic position. Furtherly, 5 of these 7 genes were tested using qPCR. Results show that the CYP2D6, WBP2NL, ESR1 and TGFBR3 mRNA expression levels of hens with long DF were significantly higher than the hens with short DF (P < 0.05). Overall, findings in our research provide new insight into the genetic basis of duration-of-fertility in breeding hens while providing new clues for further functional validation on the DF-related genetic regulation mechanism and improvement of DF through chicken breeding. Borocarbonitride (BCN) materials have shown significant potential as photocatalysts for hydrogen production. However, traditional bulk BCN exhibits only moderate photocatalytic activity. In this study, we introduce an environmentally conscious and sustainable strategy utilizing biomass-derived carbon sources to synthesize BCN nanosheets. The hydrogen evolution efficiency of BCN-A nanosheets (110 μmol h−1 g−1) exceeds that of bulk BCN photocatalysts (12 μmol h−1 g−1) by 9.1 times, mainly due to the increased surface area (205 m2g−1) and the presence of numerous active sites with enhanced charge separation capabilities. Notably, the biomass-derived BCN nanosheets offer key advantages such as sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and reduced carbon footprint during hydrogen production. These findings highlight the potential of biomass-based BCN nanomaterials to facilitate a greener and more efficient route to hydrogen energy, contributing to the global transition towards renewable energy solutions. Perilla frutescens (L.) Britton, a member of the Lamiaceae family, stands out as a versatile plant highly valued for its unique aroma and medicinal properties. Additionally, P. frutescens seeds are rich in Îś-linolenic acid, holding substantial economic importance. While the nuclear and chloroplast genomes of P. frutescens have already been documented, the complete mitochondrial genome sequence remains unreported. To this end, the sequencing, annotation, and assembly of the entire Mitochondrial genome of P. frutescens were hereby conducted using a combination of Illumina and PacBio data. The assembled P. frutescens mitochondrial genome spanned 299,551 bp and exhibited a typical circular structure, involving a GC content of 45.23%. Within the genome, a total of 59 unique genes were identified, encompassing 37 protein-coding genes, 20 tRNA genes, and 2 rRNA genes. Additionally, 18 introns were observed in 8 protein-coding genes. Notably, the codons of the P. frutescens mitochondrial genome displayed a notable A/T bias. The analysis also revealed 293 dispersed repeat sequences, 77 simple sequence repeats (SSRs), and 6 tandem repeat sequences. Moreover, RNA editing sites preferentially produced leucine at amino acid editing sites. Furthermore, 70 sequence fragments (12,680 bp) having been transferred from the chloroplast to the mitochondrial genome were identified, accounting for 4.23% of the entire mitochondrial genome. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that among Lamiaceae plants, P. frutescens is most closely related to Salviamiltiorrhiza and Platostoma chinense. Meanwhile, inter-species Ka/Ks results suggested that Ka/Ks < 1 for 28 PCGs, indicating that these genes were evolving under purifying selection. The damage of road base course has the characteristics of strong concealment and difficulty in detecting. For this reason, the impact imaging method has been used for detection of road base course. This paper discussed systematically collection points setting, excitation mode and data processing method. Through the application in testing for highway pavement base before and after grouting maintenance, the results show that the method is simple and accurate. The detection results can be displayed in a two-dimensional image form and it is easy to be used in road maintenance. This method can be used to identify and locate the damages of the pavement base, to judge the uniformity of the pavement base structure. Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) is closely related to cardiometabolic risk factors and atherosclerosis. This study aims to investigate whether the insertion/deletion (I/D) variant of ACE gene impacts cardiometabolic risk factors, premature coronary artery disease (PCAD), and severity of coronary lesions. PubMed, Cochrane Library, Central, CINAHL, and ClinicalTrials.gov were searched until December 22, 2023. 94,270 individuals were included for the analysis. Carriers of DD genotype had higher levels of triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), body mass index (BMI), and waist circumference (WC) than carriers of II or ID genotypes. In addition, carriers of DD genotype were at high risk of PCAD and multiple vessel lesions. The impacts of ACE I/D variant on lipid levels were significant in American individuals but stronger in male individuals. In contrast, the impacts of ACE I/D variant on PCAD and severity of coronary lesions were primarily significant in Caucasian individuals. This study indicates that the ACE I/D variant has a slight but significant impact on cardiometabolic risk factors, PCAD, and severity of coronary lesions. This study aims to observe the hemostatic and anti-inflammatory effects of intravenous administration of tranexamic acid (TXA) in dual segment posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF). The data of 53 patients with lumbar disease treated with double-segment PLIF were included in this study. The observation group was received a single-dose intravenous of TXA (1 g/100 mL) 15 min before skin incision after general anesthesia. The control group was not received TXA. The observation indicators included postoperative activated partial prothrombin time (APTT), thrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT), fibrinogen (FIB), platelets (PLT), and postoperative deep vein thrombosis in the lower limbs, surgical time, intraoperative bleeding volume, postoperative drainage volume, transfusion rate, postoperative hospital stay, red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin (HB), hematocrit (HCT), C-reactive protein (CRP), and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) on the 1st, 4th, 7th, and last tested day after surgery. All patients successfully completed the operation, and there was no deep vein thrombosis after operation. There was no statistically significant difference in postoperative APTT, PT, TT, FIB, PLT, surgical time, and postoperative hospital stay between the two groups (p > 0.05). The intraoperative bleeding volume, postoperative drainage volume, and transfusion rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (p < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in RBC, HB, HCT, CRP, and ESR between the two groups on the 1st, 4th, 7th, and last tested day after surgery (p > 0.05). Intravenous administration of TXA in dual segment PLIF does not affect coagulation function and can reduce bleeding volume, postoperative drainage volume, and transfusion rate. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease marked by inflammatory cell infiltration and joint damage. The Chinese government has approved the prescription medication sinomenine (SIN), an effective anti-inflammation drug, for treating RA. This study evaluated the possible anti-inflammatory actions of SIN in RA based on bioinformatics analysis and experiments. Six microarray datasets were acquired from the gene expression omnibus (GEO) database. We used R software to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and perform function evaluations. The CIBERSORT was used to calculate the abundance of 22 infiltrating immune cells. The weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) was used to discover genes associated with M1 macrophages. Four public datasets were used to predict the genes of SIN. Following that, function enrichment analysis for hub genes was performed. The cytoHubba and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) were employed to select hub genes, and their diagnostic effectiveness was predicted using the receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve. Molecular docking was undertaken to confirm the affinity between the SIN and hub gene. Furthermore, the therapeutic efficacy of SIN was validated in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells line using Western blot and Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) was identified as the hub M1 macrophages-related biomarker in RA using bioinformatic analysis and molecular docking. Our study indicated that MMP9 took part in IL-17 and TNF signaling pathways. Furthermore, we found that SIN suppresses the MMP9 protein overexpression and pro-inflammatory cytokines, including tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the LPS-induced RAW264.7 cell line. In conclusion, our work sheds new light on the pathophysiology of RA and identifies MMP9 as a possible RA key gene. Topography is a critical factor that determines the characteristics of regional soil formation. Small-scale topographic changes are referred to microtopographies. In hilly mountainous regions, the redistribution of water and soil materials caused by microtopography is the main factor affecting the spatial heterogeneity of soil and the utilization of land resources. In this study, the influence of microtopography on pedogenesis was investigated using soil samples formed from mudstones with lacustrine facies deposition in the middle of the Sichuan Basin. Soil profiles were sampled along the slopes at the summit, shoulder, backslope, footslope, and toeslope positions. The morphological, physicochemical, and geochemical attributes of profiles were analyzed. The results showed that from the summit to the toeslope, soil thickness increased significantly and profile configuration changed from A–C to A–B–C. The total contents of Ca and Na decreased at the summit, backslope, and footslope, while the total contents of Al, Fe and Mg showed an opposite trend. On the summit and shoulder of the hillslope, weathered materials were transported away by gravity and surface erosion, exposing new rocks. As a result, soil development in these areas was relatively weak. In flat areas such as the footslope and toeslope with sufficient water conditions, the addition of weathered components and the prolonged contact between water, soil, and sediment led to further chemical weathering, resulting in highly developed characteristics. Microtopography may influence physicochemical properties, chemical weathering, and redistribution of water and materials, causing variations in pedogenic characteristics at different slope positions. Allergic rhinitis is a prevalent inflammatory condition that impacts individuals of all age groups. Despite reports indicating the potential of berberine in alleviating allergic rhinitis symptoms, the specific molecular mechanisms and therapeutic targets of berberine remain unclear. This research aims to explore the pharmacological mechanism of berberine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis through bioinformatic analyses and experimental validation. The research utilized public databases to identify potential targets of berberine. Furthermore, differentially expressed genes (DEGs) related to allergic rhinitis were pinpointed from the GSE52804 dataset. Through bioinformatics techniques, the primary targets were discovered and key KEGG and GO-BP pathways were established. To confirm the therapeutic mechanisms of berberine on allergic rhinitis, an OVA-induced allergic rhinitis model was developed using guinea pigs. We identified 32 key genes responsible for the effectiveness of berberine in treating allergic rhinitis. In addition, five central genes (Alb, Il6, Tlr4, Ptas2, and Il1b) were pinpointed. Further examination using KEGG and GO-BP pathways revealed that the main targets were primarily involved in pathways such as NF-kappa B, IL-17, TNF, and inflammatory response. Molecular docking analysis demonstrated that berberine exhibited strong affinity towards these five key targets. Furthermore, the expression levels of IL-6, TLR4, PTGS2, and IL-1β were significantly upregulated in the model group but downregulated following berberine treatment. This research has revealed the mechanism through which berberine combats allergic rhinitis and has identified its potential to regulate pathways linked to inflammation. To alleviate the contradiction in healthcare resources, the Chinese government formally established the framework of a hierarchical medical system in 2015, which contains the following brief generalities: " separate treatment of emergencies and slows, first-contact care at the primary, two-way referral, and upper and lower linkage, ". This study systematically summarizes and models the connotations of China's hierarchical medical system and a sample of 11,200 chronic disease patients in Tianjin, the largest port city in northern China, was selected for the empirical study to investigate the relationship between chronic disease patients' policy perceptions of the hierarchical medical system and their preference for healthcare. We found that under the strategy of separate treatment, improving the healthcare accessibility, drug supply, and lowering the cost of medical care would have a positive impact on increasing the preference of patients with chronic diseases to go to the primary hospitals. Bolt looseness detection is a common problem in engineering. Most vision-based detection techniques focus on diagnosing ordinary bolt looseness, i.e., the methods used for diagnosis are based only on the sidelines of nuts. These methods cannot be used for anti-loosening bolt looseness diagnosis because of the simultaneous rotation of screws and nuts. Therefore, a novel anti-loosening bolt looseness diagnosis method based on a vision-based technique is proposed in this paper. First, a regular hexagonal cap was installed on the screw, which can be used as a reference for the nut. Then, to automatically distinguish the hexagonal borders of the screw cap and nut, a new hexagonal border reconstruction algorithm is proposed. Furthermore, the relative rotation angles of the screw cap and nut hexagons can be determined using the sidelines of the reconstructed hexagonal borders of the screw cap and nut. Finally, a novel anti-loosening bolt looseness diagnosis method is established by using the relative rotation angle of the regular hexagonal borders of the screw cap and nut under initial status and loose status. A prototype flange node of the transmission tower was used for experimental verification. The results show that the proposed method can effectively detect the loosening angle of anti-loosening bolts. Understanding the fracture behavior of rock after coupled water and thermal environment is important for many geotechnical projects. This study examines the influence of coupled water and thermal treatments on the fracture toughness and characteristics of a typical sandstone under mode I and mode II loading conditions. Notched deep beam (NDB) specimens were utilized and subjected to soaking treatments at various water temperatures (23 °C, 60 °C, and 99 °C). The experimental results indicate a significant reduction in both mode I and mode II fracture toughness values, with reductions ranging from 15.4% to 13.2% for mode I and 26.1% to 8.9% for mode II respectively. As the water temperatures increase, a slightly rising trend is observed in both mode I and mode II fracture toughness within the examined temperature range. Sandstone specimens displayed typical brittle fracture characteristics at lower soaking temperatures. For mode I specimens, an increase in ductility was evident with higher soaking temperatures, while the ductile behavior is less pronounced in the mode II specimens. Based on the Maximum Tangential Stress (MTS) criterion and the Generalized Maximum Tangential Stress (GMTS) criterion, the predicted values of mode II fracture toughness and the fracture process zone (FPZ) were discussed. The results show that both the GMTS and MTS criteria exhibit inaccuracies in predicting the mode II fracture toughness of sandstone treated at different soaking water temperatures. However, the GMTS criterion, which incorporates T-stress, demonstrates smaller errors compared to the MTS criterion. The study shows that the radius r0 of the fracture process zone is not a constant under both mode I and mode II loading conditions. The diagnostic accuracy of clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa) of Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System version 2 (PI-RADSv2) is limited by subjectivity in result interpretation and the false positive results from certain similar anatomic structures. We aimed to establish a new model combining quantitative contrast-enhanced ultrasound, PI-RADSv2, clinical parameters to optimize the PI-RADSv2-based model. The analysis was conducted based on a data set of 151 patients from 2019 to 2022, multiple regression analysis showed that prostate specific antigen density, age, PI-RADSv2, quantitative parameters (rush time, wash-out area under the curve) were independent predictors. Based on these predictors, we established a new predictive model, the AUCs of the model were 0.910 and 0.879 in training and validation cohort, which were higher than those of PI-RADSv2-based model (0.865 and 0.821 in training and validation cohort). Net Reclassification Index analysis indicated that the new predictive model improved the classification of patients. Decision curve analysis showed that in most risk probabilities, the new predictive model improved the clinical utility of PI-RADSv2-based model. Generally, this new predictive model showed that quantitative parameters from contrast enhanced ultrasound could help to improve the diagnostic performance of PI-RADSv2 based model in detecting csPCa. Phosphorus (P) is a crucial macronutrient for plant growth and development. Basic metabolic processes regulate growth; however, the molecular detail of these pathways under low phosphorous (LP) in wheat is still unclear. This study aims to elucidate the varied regulatory pathways responses to LP stress in wheat genotypes. Phenotypic, physiological, and transcriptome analyses were conducted on Fielder (P efficient) and Ardito (P inefficient) wheat genotypes after four days of normal phosphorous (NP) and LP stress. In response to LP, Fielder outperformed Ardito, displaying higher chlorophyll content-SPAD values (13%), plant height (45%), stem diameter (12%), shoot dry weight (42%), and root biomass (75%). Root structure analysis revealed that Fielder had greater total root length (50%), surface area (56%), volume (15%), and diameter (4%) than Ardito under LP. These findings highlight Fielder's superior performance and adaptation to LP stress. Transcriptome analysis of wheat genotype roots identified 3029 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in Fielder and 1430 in Ardito, highlighting LP-induced changes. Key DEGs include acid phosphatases (PAPs), phosphate transporters (PHT1 and PHO1), SPX, and transcription factors (MYB, bHLH, and WRKY). KEGG enrichment analysis revealed key pathways like plant hormones signal transduction, biosynthesis of secondary metabolites, and carbohydrate biosynthesis metabolism. Shear failure of rock bridges is an important process in geological phenomena, including landslides and earthquakes. However, the progressive failure of natural rock bridges has not yet been fully understood. In this work, we carried out direct shearing experiments on both granite and marble rock bridges, and applied acoustic emission (AE) monitoring throughout the experiments. With the mechanical curves and the evolution of AE activity (including AE energy rate and b value), the failure of rock bridges can be divided into three pre-failure phases and one ultimate failure phases. We analyzed the effects of normal stress and lithology on the pre-failure phases. We noted that with the increasing of normal stress, the length of stable cracking phase decreases and the length of unstable cracking phase slightly increases, except for marble rock bridges at high normal stress, which maintains a great proportion of stable cracking phase that possibly results from the great off-fault damage. Increasing normal stress also suppresses the dilation of granite rock bridges, but has a different effect on marble rock bridges, which also suggests the effect of lithology on failure modes. Health is the basis for human survival and development and is an important symbol to evaluate a country's economic growth and social progress. This article measures the degree of sports industry agglomeration in different regions of China and uses the Moran index to verify the existence of global autocorrelation in sports agglomeration. Next, the spatial Durbin model was used to verify the spatial spillover effect of sports industry agglomeration on the health level of residents, and the following conclusions were obtained.Firstly, there is spatial autocorrelation and heterogeneity in the clustering level of China's sports industry. The spatial distribution is extremely uneven, and different regions have formed relatively stable spatial patterns. Secondly, the degree of aggregation of the sports industry can reduce the number of per capita visits and have a positive spatial spillover effect on the health of residents. Not only can it promote the health level of residents in the province, but it also has spatial spillover effects on surrounding areas.Finally, based on the research results, the following conclusions are proposed in this article. This study investigates the impact of geopolitical risk (GPR) on consumption-based carbon (CCO2) emissions as well as the moderating role of environmental policy stringency (EPS) on the above relationship. Based on data collected from 27 countries from 1990 to 2020, the basic results from the sample of the study indicate that GPR accelerates CCO2 emissions. Quantile regression results reveal that the effect of GPR is more pronounced in countries with higher CCO2 emissions. Moreover, EPS weakens the escalating effect of GPR on CCO2 emissions. The robust test results validate the findings reported in the basic regression model. The heterogeneity test indicates that the impact of GPR on CCO2 emissions is greater in developing countries compared in developed countries. The study also proposes these policy implications based on the findings: (1) countries should ensure a stable political environment, establish a robust legal system and promote energy transition; and (2) the scope of environmental taxes should be expanded where different tax rates should be imposed in order to be useful in reducing CCO2 emissions. It is a challenging and meaningful task to carry out UAV-based livestock monitoring in high-altitude (more than 4500 m on average) and cold regions (annual average – 4 °C) on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The purpose of artificial intelligence (AI) is to execute automated tasks and to solve practical problems in actual applications by combining the software technology with the hardware carrier to create integrated advanced devices. Only in this way, the maximum value of AI could be realized. In this paper, a real-time tracking system with dynamic target tracking ability is proposed. It is developed based on the tracking-by-detection architecture using YOLOv7 and Deep SORT algorithms for target detection and tracking, respectively. In response to the problems encountered in the tracking process of complex and dense scenes, our work (1) Uses optical flow to compensate the Kalman filter, to solve the problem of mismatch between the target bounding box predicted by the Kalman filter (KF) and the input when the target detection in the current frame is complex, thereby improving the prediction accuracy; (2) Using a low confidence trajectory filtering method to reduce false positive trajectories generated by Deep SORT, thereby mitigating the impact of unreliable detection on target tracking. (3) A visual servo controller has been designed for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to reduce the impact of rapid movement on tracking and ensure that the target is always within the field of view of the UAV camera, thereby achieving automatic tracking tasks. Finally, the system was tested using Tibetan yaks on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau as tracking targets, and the results showed that the system has real-time multi tracking ability and ideal visual servo effect in complex and dense scenes. The impact of aging on diabetic retinopathy (DR) remains underestimated. The current study aimed to investigate the association between biological aging and DR, in contrast to chronological age (CA). Using the National Health and Nutrition Survey data from 2005 to 2008. Biological aging was evaluated through the biological age (BA) and phenotypic age (PA), which were calculated from clinical markers. DR was identified in participants with diabetes mellitus (DM) when they exhibited one or more retinal microaneurysms or retinal blot hemorrhages under retinal imaging, with or without the presence of more severe lesions. Survey-weighted multivariable logistic regression was performed, and the regression model was further fitted using restricted cubic splines. The discriminatory capability and clinical utility of the model were evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and decision curve analysis (DCA). Based on weighted analyses, of the 3100 participants included in this study, of which 162 had DR. In the adjusted model, BA (odds ratio [OR] = 1.12, 95% CI, 1.06–1.18) and PA (OR = 1.11, 95% CI, 1.07–1.14) were associated with DR, while CA was not significantly (OR = 1.01, 95% CI, 0.99–1.03). Narrowing the analysis to DM participants and adjusting for factors like insulin showed similar results. ROC and DCA analyses indicate that BA/PA predicted DR better than CA and offer greater clinical utility. The positive association between BA/PA and DR was consistent across subgroups despite potential interactions. Biological aging heightens DR risk, with BA/PA showing a stronger association than CA. This study's purpose was to confirm the observed underexpression of miRNA-410 in glioma tissues and several glioma cells by Quantitative RT-PCR. Our findings suggest that epigenetic alterations occurring at the promoter region of miR-410 may be responsible for the reduced expression of miR-410 in glioma. The occurrence of DNA methylation in the miR-410 promoter was verified to be more prevalent through glioma tissues contrasted to adjacent non-tumor brain tissues through the utilization of methylation-specific PCR and CpG bisulfite sequencing sites in the miR-410 promoter region. Accordantly, miR-410 expression in glioma cell lines was observed to be significantly lesser in comparison to that of the human fetal glial cell line. In addition, it was demonstrated through gain- and loss-of-function investigations that miR-410 exerts significant regulation over cell growth, cell cycle development, and glioma cell apoptosis. The findings of the Luciferase reporter assay and western blot analysis indicate that miR-410 has a direct effect on the 3'-UTR of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), thereby inhibiting its expression within glioma cells. Besides, our clinical investigation indicates a negative association between miR-410 expression and STAT3 within the glioma tissues of humans. In aggregate, the data provided in this investigation indicates that miR-410 is subjected to underexpression via DNA methylation. Furthermore, it has been observed to perform its function as a tumor suppressor in glioma cells through direct targeting of STAT3. This research focuses on the evolution of mechanical behavior of bimodal mixtures undergoing compaction and diametrical compression. The clusters were built and discrete element method (DEM) was used to investigate the densification process and micromechanics of bimodal mixtures. Additionally, a more comprehensive investigate of the respective breakage of the bimodal mixtures has been carried out. On this basis, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the compressive force, force chain, contact bonds and density field evolution characteristics of the clusters are investigated during the compression process. The entire loading process of the clusters is divided into three stages: rearrangement, breakage and elastic–plastic deformation. Additionally, there are differences in the evolution of micromechanics behavior of different particles in the bimodal mixture, with pregelatinized starch breakage and deformation occurring before microcrystalline cellulose. With the tablet deformation, the fragmentation process of the tablet started at the point of contact and extended toward the center, and the curvature of the force chain increased. This approach may potentially hold a valuable new information relevant to important transformation forms batch manufacturing to advanced manufacturing for the oral solid dosage form. To assess whether Roberts' age-adjusted warfarin loading protocol is effective in Chinese patients and whether the SAMeTT2R2 score can predict international normalized ratio (INR) control. Roberts' protocol for warfarin titration was applied to patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) complicated with ischemic stroke at the Department of Neurology between 2014 and 2019. Clinical and sociodemographic variables were recorded. A minimum of 1-year follow-up was used to calculate the time in therapeutic range (TTR) of the INR. A total of 94 acute ischemic stroke patients with NVAF were included in the study. Seventy-seven (81.9%) of the patients had attained stable INR (2.0–3.0) at the fifth dose, and 90.0% of the patients had achieved stable INR on the ninth day. Seventeen (18.1%) of the patients had an INR > 4 during dose-adjustment period. Patients with INR > 4 had significantly lower body weight (53.8 vs. 63.1 kg, P = 0.014), lower rate of achievement of stable INR (35.3% vs. 92.2%, P = 0.000), and lower rate of TTR ≥ 65% (23.5% vs. 70.1%, P = 0.001), but with no significant increase in bleeding risk. A total of 89 patients underwent long-term INR follow-up, of which 58 (65.2%) patients achieved TTR ≥ 65%. Patients with poor TTR had significantly lower body weight (56.3 vs. 63.7 kg, P = 0.020) and lower rate of stable INR achievement (64.5% vs. 89.7%, P = 0.002). All 94 patients had SAMeTT2R2 score ≥ 2. There was no linear association between SAMeTT2R2 score and the rate of TTR ≥ 65% (Ptrend = 0.095). Chinese ischemic stroke patients with NVAF on warfarin can safely and quickly achieve therapeutic INR using Roberts' age-adjusted protocol and can obtain a good TTR. Lower body weight may be a predictor of poor TTR and INR > 4. Patients who have not attained stable INR after adjusting the dose five times are at high risk for poor TTR. Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a potentially life-threatening condition in children with sepsis. We herein aimed to identify clinical and laboratory predictors of HLH in children with sepsis. We conducted a retrospective study of 568 children with sepsis admitted to Guangdong Women and Children Hospital from January 2019 to June 2022. HLH, while rare (6.34%), proved to be a highly fatal complication (37.14%) in children with sepsis. Children with HLH had higher levels of aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, triglycerides, and ferritin than children without HLH; conversely, they displayed decreased levels of neutrophils, hemoglobin, platelets, fibrinogen, and albumin. Additionally, the HLH group showed higher rates of prolonged fever (> 10 days), hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly than the non-HLH group. Our retrospective analysis identified hypofibrinogenemia (OR = 0.440, P = 0.024) as an independent predictor for the development of HLH in patients with sepsis. The optimal cutoff value for fibrinogen was found to be < 2.43 g/L. The area under the curve for diagnosing HLH was 0.80 (95% confidence interval: 0.73–0.87, P < 0.0001), with a sensitivity of 72.41% and specificity of 76.27%. Since its recent successful synthesis and due to its promising physical and chemical properties, the carbon nitrite nanomaterial, C3N3, has attracted considerable attention in various scientific areas. However, thus far, little effort has been devoted to investigating the structural influence of the direct interaction of this 2D nanomaterial and biomolecules, including proteins and biomembranes so as to understand the physical origin of its bio-effect, particularly from the molecular landscape. Such information is fundamental to correlate to the potential nanotoxicology of the C3N3 nanomaterial. In this work, we explored the potential structural influence of a C3N3 nanosheet on the prototypical globular protein, villin headpiece (HP35) using all-atom molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. We found that HP35 could maintain its native conformations upon adsorption onto the C3N3 nanosheet regardless of the diversity in the binding sites, implying the potential advantage of C3N3 in protecting the biomolecular structure. The adsorption was mediated primarily by vdW interactions. Moreover, once adsorbed on the C3N3 surface, HP35 remains relatively fixed on the nanostructure without a distinct lateral translation, which may aid in keeping the structural integrity of the protein. In addition, the porous topological structure of C3N3 and the special water layer present on the C3N3 holes conjointly contributed to the restricted motion of HP35 via the formation of a high free energy barrier and a steric hindrance to prevent the surface displacement. This work revealed for the first time the potential influence of the 2D C3N3 nanomaterial in the protein structure and provided the corresponding in-depth molecular-level mechanism, which is valuable for future applications of C3N3 in bionanomedicine. Static magnetic field (SMF) promoting bone tissue remodeling is a potential non-invasive therapy technique to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement (OTM). The periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs), which are mechanosensitive cells, are essential for force-induced bone remodeling and OTM. However, whether and how the PDLSCs influence the process of inflammatory bone remodeling under mechanical force stimuli in the presence of SMFs remains unclear. In this study, we found that local SMF stimulation significantly enhanced the OTM distance and induced osteoclastogenesis on the compression side of a rat model of OTM. Further experiments with macrophages cultured with supernatants from force-loaded PDLSCs exposed to an SMF showed enhanced osteoclast formation. RNA-seq analysis showed that interleukin-6 (IL-6) was elevated in force-loaded PDLSCs exposed to SMFs. IL-6 expression was also elevated on the pressure side of a rat OTM model with an SMF. The OTM distance induced by an SMF was significantly decreased after injection of the IL-6 inhibitor tocilizumab. These results imply that SMF promotes osteoclastogenesis by inducing force-loaded PDLSCs to secrete the inflammatory cytokine IL-6, which accelerates OTM. Current research has shown an increasing acceptance of interventions for depression through dietary modifications. However, whether composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI) is associated with depression and all-cause mortality in middle-aged and elderly population remains unknown. This study aimed to explore those associations in American middle-aged and elderly population. Weighted logistic regression models and weighted Cox proportional hazard regression models were used to assess the association of CDAI, covariates, depression, and all-cause mortality, respectively. The stability of the results was also determined by a linear trend test based on CDAI quintiles. Restricted cubic spline curves were employed to test for non-linear relationships. In the model adjusted for all covariates, significant associations were found with the ORs (95% CI) for CDAI and depression [0.77 (0.67, 0.89)] and the HRs (95% CI) for CDAI with all-cause mortality[0.91 (0.83, 1.00)]. Upon conducting restricted cubic spline curves, we found that the association between CDAI and depression was linear, whereas the association between CDAI and all-cause mortality was non-linear with an inflection point of -0.19. Statistical significance was only found before the inflection point. Brain–computer interfaces (BCIs) that reconstruct and synthesize speech using brain activity recorded with intracranial electrodes may pave the way toward novel communication interfaces for people who have lost their ability to speak, or who are at high risk of losing this ability, due to neurological disorders. Here, we report online synthesis of intelligible words using a chronically implanted brain-computer interface (BCI) in a man with impaired articulation due to ALS, participating in a clinical trial (ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT03567213) exploring different strategies for BCI communication. The 3-stage approach reported here relies on recurrent neural networks to identify, decode and synthesize speech from electrocorticographic (ECoG) signals acquired across motor, premotor and somatosensory cortices. We demonstrate a reliable BCI that synthesizes commands freely chosen and spoken by the participant from a vocabulary of 6 keywords previously used for decoding commands to control a communication board. Evaluation of the intelligibility of the synthesized speech indicates that 80% of the words can be correctly recognized by human listeners. Our results show that a speech-impaired individual with ALS can use a chronically implanted BCI to reliably produce synthesized words while preserving the participant's voice profile, and provide further evidence for the stability of ECoG for speech-based BCIs. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide. Macrophage-mediated innate immune responses play a crucial role in tumor development. This study revealed the mechanism of SHP-1 in regulating HCC progression. SHP-1 inhibits tumour development in vivo. Increasing SHP-1 expression in macrophages promotes the expression of p-SHP-1, SHP2, and p-SHP-2. In macrophages GM-CSF recruits SHP-2 to the GM-CSF receptor GM-CSFR induces p-SHP-2 dephosphorylation. GM-CSF recruits p-SHP-2 for dephosphorylation by up-regulating HoxA10HOXA10 activates the transcription of TGFβ2 by interacting with tandem cis-elements in the promoter thereby regulating the proliferation and migration of liver cancer cells. GM-CSF inhibits SHP-1 regulation of p-SHP-1, SHP2, and p-SHP-2 in macrophages. Detailed studies have shown that SHP-1 regulates SHP2 expression, and SHP-1 and SHP2 are involved in macrophage M2 polarisation. SHP-1 inhibits HOXA10 and TGFβ2 which in turn regulates the expression of the migration-associated proteins, MMP2/9, and the migration of hepatocellular carcinoma cells. Overexpression of SHP-1 inhibits macrophage M2 polarisation via the p-STAT3/6 signalling pathway Classical markers arginase-1, CD206, CD163 and regulate the expression of M2 polarisation cytokines IL-4 and IL-10. In addition, hypoxia-induced ROS inhibited SHP-1 regulation by suppressing the expression of p-SHP-1. The combined effect of GM-CSF and ROS significantly increased p-HOXA10/TGFβ2 and macrophage M2 polarisation, and the regulatory effect of ROS was significantly suppressed by GM-CSF knockdown. These findings suggest that increasing the expression of tyrosine phosphatase SHP-1 can inhibit hepatocellular carcinoma progression by modulating the SHP2/GM-CSF pathway in TAM and thus inhibit the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma. The primary goal of this study is to develop a wearable system for providing CNC machine operators with visual and tactile perception of triaxial cutting forces, thereby assisting operators in industrial environments to enhance work efficiency and prevent mechanical failures. To achieve this goal, we successfully integrated a virtual machining tool simulator with the remote-control wearable system (RCWS). Using the 'King Path' milling parameters, we employed the simulation software developed by the AIM-HI team to calculate static and dynamic cutting forces, converting this data into vibrational commands for the RCWS to generate corresponding tactile feedback. Furthermore, we conducted extensive experiments, testing various data conversion methods, including three sampling techniques and two data compression strategies, aiming to provide accurate tactile feedback related to cutting forces under different operating conditions. In the absence of evidence-based guidance on the impact of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) blood concentration on efficacy and ocular toxicity in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the clinical monitoring of HCQ blood concentration is not yet widely performed, which raised concerns about the necessity of conducting HCQ blood concentration monitoring. In this retrospective study, we consecutively enrolled 135 patients with SLE who received HCQ treatment for more than 6 months from July 2022 to December 2022. Ocular toxicity was evaluated by collecting relevant retinal parameters using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). Therapeutic efficacy was evaluated using the SLE disease activity index (SLEDAI) and relevant clinical parameters. HCQ blood concentration was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC–MS/MS). Spearman correlation analysis revealed that the cumulative dose of HCQ was positively correlated with the foveal avascular zone (FAZ) perimeter and FAZ area (r = 0.734, P < 0.001; r = 0.784, P < 0.001). Meanwhile, the treatment duration of HCQ was positively correlated with FAZ perimeter and FAZ area (r = 0.761, P < 0.001; r = 0.882, P < 0.001). The univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses indicated that HCQ blood concentration was associated with the disease activity of patients with SLE (odds ratio 0.994, 95% CI 0.990–0.999). HCQ blood concentration may be an important factor in assessing the therapeutic effectiveness of SLE patients. The HCQ-related ocular toxicity was a long-term effect related to long term exposure, rather than the blood concentration of HCQ at the time of testing. CircRNAs are a class of highly stable noncoding RNAs that play an important role in the progression of many diseases, especially cancer. In this study, high-throughput sequencing was used to screen for abnormally expressed circRNAs, and we found that circGPC3 was overexpressed in HCC tissues. However, the underlying mechanism of circGPC3 in the development and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains unknown. In our study, we found that circGPC3 was significantly upregulated in HCC tissues and cells and that its overexpression was positively correlated with overall survival, TNM stage and lymph node metastasis. In vivo and in vitro experiments showed that circGPC3 knockdown repressed HCC cell migration, invasion and proliferation and promoted apoptosis. Mechanistically, circGPC3 promoted HCC proliferation and metastasis through the miR-578/RAB7A/PSME3 axis. This study investigates the impact of macroprudential policies on ecological footprint (EF) in the top 11 largest countries. This study uses country-level panel data from these countries, covering the period from 1992 to 2020. Findings indicate that macroprudential policies alleviates ecological footprint in the sample. Macroprudential policies primarily reduce the ecological footprint before medium quantile (50%) while the environmental benefits of the policies end in the later quantiles. Moreover, environmental policy stringency (EPS) amplifies the positive influence of macroprudential policies on environmental sustainability. Estimate results stay the same with basic regression results in the post-global financial crisis (GFC) period while the impact is positive in the pre-GFC period. Finally, other robust tests validate the findings reported in basic regression model. This study suggests that governments should customize various types of macroprudential policies while also considering environmental concerns. A flexible drilling tool is a special drilling tool for ultrashort-radius radial horizontal wells. This tool is composed of many parts and has the characteristics of a multibody system. In this paper, a numerical method for the dynamic analysis of flexible drilling tools is proposed. The flexible drill tool is discretized into spatial beam elements, while the multilayer contact of the flexible drilling tool is represented by the multilayer dynamic gap element, and the dynamic model of the multibody system for the flexible drilling tool's multilayer contact is established, considering the interaction force between the drill bit and the rock. The nonlinear dynamic equation is solved using the Newmark method and Newton–Raphson method. An analysis of the dynamic behavior of a flexible drilling tool is conducted. The results indicate that the flexible drilling tool experiences vortex formation due to the interaction between the flexible drilling pipe and the guide pipe, leading to increased friction and wear. This situation hinders safe drilling operations with flexible drilling tools. The hemorrhagic progression of a contusion (HPC) after Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is one of the important causes of death in trauma patients. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the predictive effect of imaging features of Computed tomography (CT) on HPC after TBI. A comprehensive systematic search was performed using PubMed, EMBASE, and WEB OF SCIENCE databases to identify all relevant literature. A total of 8 studies involving 2543 patients were included in this meta-analysis. Meta-analysis showed that subarachnoid hemorrhage (OR 3.28; 95% CI 2.57–4.20), subdural hemorrhage (OR 4.35; 95% CI 3.29–5.75), epidural hemorrhage (OR 1.47;95% CI 1.15–1.89), contrast extravasation (OR 11.81; 95% CI 4.86–28.71) had a predictive effect on the occurrence of HPC. Skull fracture (OR 1.64; 95% CI 0.84–3.19) showed no statistical significance, and midline displacement > 5 mm (OR 4.66; 95% CI 1.87–11.62) showed high heterogeneity. The results of this meta-analysis showed that some imaging features were effective predictors of HPC after TBI. Slope length is an important factor in soil erosion modeling, and the reasonable automatic extraction of slope length is of great significance in soil erosion research. However, previous studies have mainly focused on the regional scale, and how to effectively extract slope length at the slope scale deserves further research. In this study, a slope length extraction algorithm based on slope streamlines method (SSM) is proposed for the slope length extraction problem in geomorphology, and it is compared with three existing slope length calculation methods. The experimental results show that the new method can quickly calculate the length of slope streamlines, and the extracted slope lengths have better accuracy; the coefficients of determination demonstrates a better overall fitting effect of the four extraction methods, with coefficients of determination exceeding 0.7; this indicates that the use of SSM has similar accuracy and stability to other methods in calculating slope lengths. Among all the calculation methods, SSM has a better overall fitting effect for slope length calculation, and the obtained slope length value domain range is relatively small and concentrated in a small range, which expresses the slope length better. Research has demonstrated the positive effect of natural environment on human restoration and well-being. Time spent in nature can often alleviate both physiological and psychological stress. However, few studies have discussed the environmental health effects of the nature's components and characteristics. Sixty volunteers were recruited and one manufactured environment and five different natural environments were randomly assigned to them, including coniferous forests (pure coniferous forest-PC and mixed coniferous forest-MC), broad-leaved forests (pure broad-leaved forest-PB and mixed broad-leaved forest-MB), and mixed forest (mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest-MCB). Each volunteer sat in a built or natural environment and looked around the environment for 15 min. Physiological (HR, HRV, BP, pulse rate and salivary cortisol) and psychological indicators (POMS and STAI) were used to evaluate the changes in their stress level. Results indicated a strong difference in HR, HRV, POMS and STAI between the built and natural environment, which showed that natural environment can lower the stress level. MC had the best effect on relieving physiological stress, whereas MCB is most successful in improving emotional state and reducing anxiety. Broad-leaved forest and mixed forest significantly affected the DBP and vigor level of the subjects, respectively. While coniferous forest did significantly increase the concentration of salivary cortisol in subjects. The study confirmed that compared to the built environment, the natural environment can relieve the human body's physical and psychological stress and negative emotions, while significantly increasing vitality. And different plant communities also have different effects on the physiological and psychological indicators of the subjects. This study aims at suggesting an end-to-end algorithm based on a U-net-optimized generative adversarial network to predict anterior neck lower jaw angles (ANLJA), which are employed to define fetal head posture (FHP) during nuchal translucency (NT) measurement. We prospectively collected 720 FHP images (half hyperextension and half normal posture) and regarded manual measurement as the gold standard. Seventy percent of the FHP images (half hyperextension and half normal posture) were used to fit models, and the rest to evaluate them in the hyperextension group, normal posture group (NPG), and total group. The root mean square error, explained variation, and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) were utilized for the validity assessment; the two-sample t test, Mann–Whitney U test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, Bland–Altman plot, and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) for the reliability evaluation. Our suggested algorithm outperformed all the competitors in all groups and indices regarding validity, except for the MAPE, where the Inception-v3 surpassed ours in the NPG. The two-sample t test and Mann–Whitney U test indicated no significant difference between the suggested method and the gold standard in group-level comparison. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test revealed significant differences between our new approach and the gold standard in personal-level comparison. All points in Bland–Altman plots fell between the upper and lower limits of agreement. The inter-ICCs of ultrasonographers, our proposed algorithm, and its opponents were graded good reliability, good or moderate reliability, and moderate or poor reliability, respectively. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a progressive disease. We utilized bioinformatics analysis and experimental research to identify biomarkers indicative of the progression of T2DM, aiming for early detection of the disease and timely clinical intervention. Integrating Mfuzz analysis with differential expression analysis, we identified 76 genes associated with the progression of T2DM, which were primarily enriched in signaling pathways such as apoptosis, p53 signaling, and necroptosis. Subsequently, using various analytical methods, including machine learning, we further narrowed down the hub genes to STK17A and CCT5. Based on the hub genes, we calculated the risk score for samples and interestingly found that the score correlated with multiple programmed cell death (PCD) pathways. Animal experiments revealed that the diabetes model exhibited higher levels of MDA and LDH, with lower expression of SOD, accompanied by islet cell apoptosis. In conclusion, our study suggests that during the progression of diabetes, STK17A and CCT5 may contribute to the advancement of the disease by regulating oxidative stress, programmed cell death pathways, and critical signaling pathways such as p53 and MAPK, thereby promoting the death of islet cells. Forest fire have a serious impact on forest ecosystems, the safety of people's lives and property, and social stability. The height of surface flames, as the main indicator of forest fire behavior, which is an important parameter for forest fire management. The relationship between fireline intensity and flame height proposed by Byram has been widely used in estimating flame height; however, its applicability to the surface fuel of typical forest stands in the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau of China has not yet been analyzed. In this study, the surface fuel in the area was taken as the research object, and the flame height of different fuel bed characteristics was measured through an indoor burning experiment. The applicability of three methods—the directly used Byram's model, corrected model, and re-established prediction model—was analyzed to estimate the flame height in the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau. We found that the flame height of the typical forest stands in the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau ranged from 0.05 to 1.2 m and was significantly affected by the moisture content, load, and height of the fuel bed. Although the fireline intensity exhibited a significant linear relationship with the flame height, directly using Byram's method to predict the flame height of surface fires was impractical, as its mean prediction error exceeded 150%. The mean relative errors of the prediction model obtained by modifying Byram's method and that based on the characteristics of the fuel bed were both within 15%, which is significantly lower than that of the original Byram's method. Based on the results of this study, we propose two methods that are suitable for predicting the flame height of surface fires in the typical forests of the Yunnan–Guizhou Plateau in China, which is of great significance for further understanding the relationship between flame height, fireline intensity, and scientific forest fire management. Necroptosis is a recently identified caspase-independent form of cell death which plays a significant role in the onset and progression of cancer. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are vital for the development of uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) because they are an important regulatory component in necroptosis. This study developed a new necroptosis-related miRNAs profile to predict the prognosis of patients with UCEC. The TCGA-UCEC cohort's RNA sequencing data, consisting of 534 tumor samples and 33 normal samples, was downloaded. Ten differentially expressed miRNAs related to necroptosis were identified. A prediction model for necroptosis-related miRNAs was then created through COX regression and nomograms analysis. Clinical and pathological parameters were integrated to construct a nomogram and evaluate the model. Prognosis-related miRNAs were further used to predict target genes, and functional analysis was conducted to explore the potential mechanisms of these target genes. Subsequently, immune infiltration analysis was performed using transcriptome data to identify immune genes associated with prognosis, and the expression levels of target gene was validated using UCEC tissues. We identified 7 up-regulated miRNAs (hsa-miR-577, hsa-miR-7-5p, hsa-miR-210-3p, hsa-miR-210-5p, hsa-miR-200a-5p, hsa-miR-141-3p, hsa-miR-425-5p) and 3 down-regulated miRNAs (hsa-miR-7-2-3p, hsa-miR-383-5p, hsa-miR-29a-3p). The risk signature was based on univariate and multivariate COX analyses, constructed using 2 independent prognostic factors and miRNAs (hsa-miR-425-5p, hsa-miR-7-5p) associated with necroptosis. Nomograms demonstrated the prognostic value of risk level, age, FIGO stage, and histological type. Kaplan–Meier analysis revealed significant differences in overall survival (OS) outcomes associated with the expression of hsa-miR-425-5p (P < 0.001) and hsa-miR-7-5p (P = 0.015). Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) investigations indicated that these miRNAs play crucial roles in tumor development, metastasis, and prognosis. Immune infiltration analysis showed decreased infiltration of CD8+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, NK cells, and M1 macrophages in normal tissues. Subsequently, a necroptosis-related immune gene significantly associated with prognosis (THRB) was identified, western blot and immunohistochemical staining confirmed the differential expression of THRB in normal endometrial tissues and tumor. Our findings demonstrate a close association between necroptosis and UCEC. The two necroptosis-related miRNAs used in this study may serve as valuable prognostic markers for UCEC patients, and are associated with immune cell infiltration. The study aimed to provide physician modified fenestration (PMF) on a single-branched stent for the aortic arch (Castor) to protect the isolated left vertebral artery (ILVA) during thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR). Patients who underwent TEVAR involving ILVA reconstruction through PMF performing on the Castor branched stent were included in a retrospective, multi-centre study from June 2018 to December 2022. In these patients, all proximal landing zones of "Castor" were positioned in Ishimaru zone 2a. A total of twenty-five patients met the inclusion criteria and the achievement rate showed 25/25 (100%) success in them. The twenty-five patients had a median follow-up length of 28.5 ± 14.6 months. One patient (4.0%) suffered from postoperative ischemic stroke before discharge. One patient (4.0%) died from a hemodialysis-related brain hemorrhage before discharge on the 29th day after the procedure. One patient died of advanced liver cancer in the 33th month after discharge. Aortic rupture, stroke or spinal cord injury did not occur throughout the follow-up period after discharge. Two patients (8.0%) experienced endoleak at the fenestration, however, resulting in only one's necessity for reintervention. Notably, the procedure effectively maintained ILVAs patency for all patients during follow up. According to our preliminary findings, performing a TEVAR under local anaesthesia using PMF on a Castor branched stent for ILVA preservation appeared practical, secure, and effective. At present, a few scholars studied influencing factors, rules and mechanisms of decision-making in ethical dilemmas. Many factors have been identified, and a few rules and mechanisms have been proposed. However, due to the inability to evaluate the weight and role of each factor in decision-making, it is difficult to establish a computational decision-making model to solve ethical dilemmas. Therefore, entropy weighted method (EWM) and Attribute Value Weighted EWM (AVWEWM) are used to process 84 dilemmas respectively to evaluate the weight and role of each factor in decision-making, then decision-making models based on EWM and AVWEWM are constructed to make decisions during autonomous vehicle (AV) crashes respectively. Lastly, 40 dilemmas are designed to test both decision-making models. The test results indicate that both can make clear decision-making in 40 dilemmas. However, the decision-making by AVWEWM is more consistent with public opinion than EWM. In addition, according to the weight and role of each factor in decision-making, it can also provide a few references for traffic management and legal departments to formulate traffic laws and regulations for AV in the future. To assess whether Roberts' age-adjusted warfarin loading protocol is effective in Chinese patients and whether the SAMeTT2R2 score can predict international normalized ratio (INR) control. Roberts' protocol for warfarin titration was applied to patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) complicated with ischemic stroke at the Department of Neurology between 2014 and 2019. Clinical and sociodemographic variables were recorded. A minimum of 1-year follow-up was used to calculate the time in therapeutic range (TTR) of the INR. A total of 94 acute ischemic stroke patients with NVAF were included in the study. Seventy-seven (81.9%) of the patients had attained stable INR (2.0–3.0) at the fifth dose, and 90.0% of the patients had achieved stable INR on the ninth day. Seventeen (18.1%) of the patients had an INR > 4 during dose-adjustment period. Patients with INR > 4 had significantly lower body weight (53.8 vs. 63.1 kg, P = 0.014), lower rate of achievement of stable INR (35.3% vs. 92.2%, P = 0.000), and lower rate of TTR ≥ 65% (23.5% vs. 70.1%, P = 0.001), but with no significant increase in bleeding risk. A total of 89 patients underwent long-term INR follow-up, of which 58 (65.2%) patients achieved TTR ≥ 65%. Patients with poor TTR had significantly lower body weight (56.3 vs. 63.7 kg, P = 0.020) and lower rate of stable INR achievement (64.5% vs. 89.7%, P = 0.002). All 94 patients had SAMeTT2R2 score ≥ 2. There was no linear association between SAMeTT2R2 score and the rate of TTR ≥ 65% (Ptrend = 0.095). Chinese ischemic stroke patients with NVAF on warfarin can safely and quickly achieve therapeutic INR using Roberts' age-adjusted protocol and can obtain a good TTR. Lower body weight may be a predictor of poor TTR and INR > 4. Patients who have not attained stable INR after adjusting the dose five times are at high risk for poor TTR. Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a potentially life-threatening condition in children with sepsis. We herein aimed to identify clinical and laboratory predictors of HLH in children with sepsis. We conducted a retrospective study of 568 children with sepsis admitted to Guangdong Women and Children Hospital from January 2019 to June 2022. HLH, while rare (6.34%), proved to be a highly fatal complication (37.14%) in children with sepsis. Children with HLH had higher levels of aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, triglycerides, and ferritin than children without HLH; conversely, they displayed decreased levels of neutrophils, hemoglobin, platelets, fibrinogen, and albumin. Additionally, the HLH group showed higher rates of prolonged fever (> 10 days), hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly than the non-HLH group. Our retrospective analysis identified hypofibrinogenemia (OR = 0.440, P = 0.024) as an independent predictor for the development of HLH in patients with sepsis. The optimal cutoff value for fibrinogen was found to be < 2.43 g/L. The area under the curve for diagnosing HLH was 0.80 (95% confidence interval: 0.73–0.87, P < 0.0001), with a sensitivity of 72.41% and specificity of 76.27%.
