The article describes the Library of the Future, which refers to a model for a physical facility and virtual space that can expect, identify and adapt to changes. The next-generation library is said to be capable of marshalling greater resources to enhance user experience by means of technology adaptations and organizational structure. The challenges facing libraries as of 2010 including access issues and understanding user need are discussed. Also discussed is the approach of the Library of the Future to library products and services.
