Abstract

We report a simple method to realize stretchable oxide TFTs built on polyimide (PI) and then transferred to PDMS substrate. The devices can be stretched up to 50% with negligible performance degradation, making it a promising approach to wearable electronics using high performance oxide TFT backplane.

Abstract

Performance of solution processed p-channel oxide TFTs are improved by introducing metal-doping in nickel oxide (NiOx). On/off current ratio of 5 × 104 and field-effect mobility (μFE) of ∼0.67 cm2/V.s are achieved in the fabricated devices, making it promising for future power efficient oxide circuits and complementary oxide electronics.
