The article offers information on the various activities of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES). The society is projecting that its National Solar Energy Conference, SOLAR 2007, "Sustainable Energy Puts America to Work" will be regarded as the most successful conference in history. The society has also reached a milestone in April 2007 when its membership exceeded 10,000 members. The society is also planning to conduct the National Solar Tour on October 6, 2007. It also introduced its most recent policy paper entitled "Tackling Climate Change in the U.S.: Potential U.S. Carbon Emissions Reductions from Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency by 2030."
