Abstract

The article presents information on a study related to the comprehensive model of high rate matrix acid simulation for long horizontal wells in the carbonate reservoir. It informs that the acid stimulation requires effective acid distribution along the entire length of the reservoir. It further informs that in the study an integrated flow model has been developed to predict the wellbore pressure profile.

Abstract

The article presents information on a study related to the comprehensive model of high rate matrix acid simulation for long horizontal wells in the carbonate reservoir. It informs that the matrix aciding models have under predicted the acid stimulation benefits due to the wormhole penetration. It further informs that the prediction of wormhole penetration require more effective analysis that the one used currently in the industry.
