The purpose of this study is to identify the business practices and performance of multi-purpose cooperatives in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro and its relationship. Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: The number of multi-purpose cooperatives in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro engage in credit and service operations are 9, however in credit, production and service are 11. The extent of business practices of multi-purpose cooperative is very high in terms of marketing, human resource management, facilities management and total quality management. The level of business performance of multi-purpose cooperative is very high in terms of credit, production and service operation. From the findings and conclusion, the following were recommended: The multi-purpose cooperatives may have a conducive operation by maintaining the lay-out and overall facilities. And in order to have a better performance, the multi-purpose cooperatives may engage also in the production operations, more particularly in producing and providing the basic needs of the clients.
