Thorictus bengalensis Háva & Chakrovorty sp. nov. from West Bengal, India is described, illustrated and compared with similar Indian species. Trichomyrmex destructor (Jerdon, 1851) (Hymenoptera, Formicidae, Myrmicinae, Crematogastrini) is the host ant species. The interaction has been studied from an urban rooftopgarden. The species Thorictus wroughtoni Wasmann, 1912 stat. nov. is elevated from subspecies to a separate species. The check list of Thorictus species recorded from India is added. Additionally, a Goblin spider species, Gamasomorpha sp. Karsch, 1881 (Arachnida: Araneae: Araneomorphae: Oonopidae) was observed to be inhabiting the same nest. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Cetoniine genus Hemiprotaetia Mikšič, 1963 and subgenus of Protaetia Burmeister, 1842 -Chalcoprotaetia Mikšič, 1963 are studied. Study of representatives of both taxa, especially aedeagi of their males revealed that representatives of Hemiprotaetia Mikšič, 1963 currently recognised as valid genus in Cetoniini and representatives of Chalcoprotaetia Mikšič, 1963, currently recognised as a subgenus of Protaetia Burmeister, 1842 stay much closer than it was supposed. Also their distribution seems to be very similar, both are endemical to northern part of Philippines, mainly to Luzon Island. Intermediate species habitually imitating representatives of Chalcoprotaetia Mikšič, 1963, but in structure of male aedeagus very similar with Hemiprotaetia Mikšič, 1963 was collected in Luzon Island. It is here compared with currently known Hemiprotaetia Mikšič, 1963 and Chalcoprotaetia Mikšič, 1963 species and described as Protaetia (Chalcoprotaetia) sierramadrensis sp. nov. Based on study of several major characters in Hemiprotaetia Mikšič, 1963 and following concept of most of current researchers of Cetoniini, it is here proposed to threat this genus as a subgenus of Protaetia Burmeister, 1842. Protaetia (Hemiprotaetia) madjaasica sp. nov., cohabiting with Protaetia (Hemiprotaetia) boudanti (Arnaud, 1992) in Panay Island is compared with its congeners and described as new to science. The subgenera Arnoldiellus Nikitsky, 1989 and Paramycetophagus Nikitsky, 2007 are elevated to genus resulting in the following new combinations: Arnoldiellus tschitscherini (Reitter, 1897), Paramycetophagus nepalensis (Háva, 2019) and Paramycetophagus sulcicollis (Champion, 1917). Three new taxa are described: Pilemia (Pseudopilemia) arida sp. nov. from Jordan, P. (P.) hirsutula karadutensis ssp. nov. from Turkey, P. (P.) hirsutula richardi ssp. nov. from Iran (Lorestan), P. (P.) homoiesthes (Ganglbauer, 1888), stat. nov. upgraded to the species rank. P. Similarly looking representatives of Miksicus Özdikmen & Turgut, 2009 and Miksicoprotaetia Legrand & Chew Kea Foo, 2010, subgenera of Protaetia Burmeister are studied. Study of approximately 400 specimens of Protaetia (Miksicus) acuminata Fabricius, 1775 revealed that populations flying across its large distributional areal are not conspecific. Distribution of this species is here corrected and two new species are described, Protaetia (Miksicus) oceanica sp. nov. from isolated Enggano Island (Indonesia) and Protaetia (Miksicus) austrosundana sp. nov. from Sumba and Sumbawa Islands in Lesser Sundas (Indonesia). Protaetia (Miksicus) acuminata baveanica Mikšič, 1965 and Protaetia (Miksicus) acuminata freudei Mikšič, 1962 are raised to species level. Lawangia Schenkling, 1921 is withdrawn from synonymy with Protaetia Burmeister, 1842 and it is here considered as a valid subgenus of Protaetia Burmeister, 1842. Protaetia (Miksicoprotaetia) Legrand & Chew Kea Foo, 2010 is synonymised with Protaetia (Lawangia) Schenkling, 1921. Protaetia (Miksicus) binghami Arrow, 1910 is transferred to Protaetia (Lawangia) Schenkling, 1921 and description of its male is given. New replacement name Protaetia (Miksicus) kaorusakaii nom. nov. is proposed for Protaetia (Miksicus) sakaii Jákl, 2011 due to homonymy. Five species of Miksicus Özdikmen & Turgut, 2009 and one species of Lawangia Schenkling, 1921 are pictured, including aedeagi of males and compared with their relatives. The genus Orbeola Mulsant & Rey, 1868 from the Palaearctic and Afrotropical Regions is reinstated from its synonymy with Phradonoma Jacquelin du Val, 1859. The following combinations are newly proposed: Orbeola hirsutulum (Reiche in Mulsant & Rey, 1868) comb. nov. (from Phradonoma) as a type species; Orbeola endroedyi (Háva, 2003) comb. nov. (from Paratrogoderma); Orbeola haemorrhoum (Gerstäcker, 1871) comb. nov. (from Paratrogoderma); Orbeola reunionica (Háva & Poussereau, 2019) comb. nov. (from Paratrogoderma).
