Supplier selection as a multiattribute decision-making (MADM) problem has various inherent uncertainties due to a number of symmetrical variables. In order to handle such information-based uncertainties, rational models like intuitionistic fuzzy sets have already been introduced in the literature. However, a picture fuzzy set (PiFS) with four dimensions of positive, neutral, negative, and rejection is better at capturing and interpreting such kinds of ambiguous information. Additionally, fuzzy parameterization (FPara) is helpful for evaluating the degree of uncertainty in the parameters. This study aims to develop a fuzzy parameterized picture fuzzy soft set (FpPiFSS) by integrating the ideas of PiFS and FPara. This integration is more adaptable and practical since it helps decision makers manage approximation depending on their objectivity and parameterization uncertainty. With the assistance of instructive examples, some of the set-theoretic operations are examined. A decision support framework is constructed using matrix manipulation, preferential weighting, fuzzy parameterized grades based on Pythagorean means, and the approximations of decision makers. This framework proposes a reliable algorithm to evaluate four timber suppliers (initially scrutinized by perusal process) based on eight categorical parameters for real estate projects. In order to accomplish suppliers evaluation, crucial validation outcomes are taken into account, including delivery level, purchase cost, capacity, product quality, lead time, green degree, location, and flexibility. To assess the advantages, dependability, and flexibility of the recommended strategy, comparisons in terms of computation and structure are provided. In this work, an artificial neural network based on the Cuckoo search algorithm (CS-ANN) is implemented for squeezing flow problems. Three problems are considered: the squeezing flow, the MHD squeezing flow, and the flow of the third-grade fluid past a moving belt. First, the approximation for the said nonlinear differential equations is explained and the proposed problems are transformed into the L 2 norms of minimization problems. Then, a well-known Cuckoo search algorithm is used to minimize the norms of each problem to get the best set of weights for artificial neural networks. The outcome of the proposed method is displayed through graphs. Two cases for each problem are discussed consisting of the solution, error, weights, and fitness function, respectively. The numerical results for the state variables are displayed in Tables. The error analysis in each case proves the accuracy of our implemented technique. Human activity recognition (HAR) is the process of interpreting human activities with the help of electronic devices such as computer and machine version technology. Humans can be explained or clarified as gestures, behavior, and activities that are recorded by sensors. In this manuscript, we concentrate on studying the problem of HAR; for this, we use the proposed theory of Aczel and Alsina, such as Aczel–Alsina (AA) norms, and the derived theory of Choquet, such as the Choquet integral in the presence of Atanassov interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy (AIVIF) set theory for evaluating the novel concept of AIVIF Choquet integral AA averaging (AIVIFC-IAAA), AIVIF Choquet integral AA ordered averaging (AIVIFC-IAAOA), AIVIF Choquet integral AA hybrid averaging (AIVIFC-IAAHA), AIVIF Choquet integral AA geometric (AIVIFC-IAAG), AIVIF Choquet integral AA ordered geometric (AIVIFC-IAAOG), and AIVIF Choquet integral AA hybrid geometric (AIVIFC-IAAHG) operators. Many essential characteristics of the presented techniques are shown, and we also identify their properties with some results. Additionally, we take advantage of the above techniques to produce a technique to evaluate the HAR multiattribute decision-making complications. We derive a functional model for HAR problems to justify the evaluated approaches and to demonstrate their supremacy and practicality. Decisive applications, such as control systems and aerial navigation, require a standby system to meet stringent safety, availability, and reliability. The paper evaluates the availability, reliability, and other measures of system effectiveness for two stochastic models in a symmetrical way with varying demand: Model 1 (a two-unit cold standby system) and Model 2 (a two-unit hot standby system). In Model 1, the standby unit needs to be activated before it may begin to function; in Model 2, the standby unit is always operational unless it fails. The current study demonstrates that the hot standby system is more expensive than the cold standby system under two circumstances: a decrease in demand or the hot standby unit's failure rate exceeding a predetermined threshold. The cold standby system's activation time is at most a certain threshold, and turning both units on at once is necessary to handle the increasing demand. In that case, the hot standby will be more expensive than the cold standby system. The authors used semi-Markov and regenerative point techniques to analyze both models. They collected actual data from a cable manufacturing plant to illustrate the findings. Plotting several graphs and obtaining cut-off points make it easier to choose the standby to employ. In this work, we analyzed the hybrid nanofluid (Ag+CuO+kerosene oil) flow past a bidirectionally extendable surface in the presence of a variable magnetic field. The hybrid nanofluid flow considered is electrically conductive and steady. For the simulation of the problem, the Cattaneo–Christov double-diffusion (CCDD) model was considered, which generalizes Fourier's and Fick's laws. The impact of the Hall current produced was taken into account. The physical problem was transformed into a mathematical form with the help of suitable transformations to reduce the complexity of the problem. The transformed system of coupled ordinary differential equations (ODEs) was solved with the semi-analytical method. The results are plotted in comparison with the ordinary nanofluid (CuO+kerosene oil) and hybrid nanofluid (Ag+CuO+kerosene oil). The impact of various parameters (P r , S c , γ 0 , m , M , N b , N t , ϵ 1 , ϵ 2) on the state variables is described. The velocity gradient under the impact of the mass flux and magnetic parameter shows a decreasing behavior, while the Hall parameter and the stretching ratio show an increasing behavior. Moreover, the skin friction, rate of heat, and mass transfer are numerically displayed through tables. In this work, we found that the thermal and concentration relaxation coefficients showed a decreasing behavior for their increasing trends. For the validation of the implemented technique, the squared residuals are computed in Table 2, which shows that the increasing number of iterations decreases the squared residual error. The purpose of this research is to investigate a novel three-stage flow shop scheduling problem with an ambiguous processing time. The uncertain information is characterized by Pentagonal fuzzy numbers. To solve the problem, in this paper, two different strategies are proposed; one relies on the idea of a ranking function, and the other on the close interval approximation of the pentagonal fuzzy number. For persons that need to be more specific in their requirements, the close interval approximation of the Pentagonal fuzzy number is judged to be the best appropriate approximation interval. Regarding the rental cost specification, these methods are used to reduce the rental cost for the concerned devices. In addition, a comparison of our suggested approach's computed total processing time, total machine rental cost, and machine idle time to the existing approach is introduced. Pulsatory movements appear in a variety of fascinating applications involving periodic flow propagation and control. Pulsing encourages mixing and, as a result, mass and heat exchange with the boundaries. Pulsing also helps to decrease surface fouling by allowing solid particles to migrate. An exact solution of the Navier–Stokes equations for the transport of an incompressible viscous fluid in a channel with arbitrary pressure distribution is described in this study. The flow is defined by two primary parameters: the pulsation parameter, which is determined by the periodic pressure gradient, and the kinetic Reynolds number, which is determined by the pulsation frequency. The purpose of employing hybrid nanofluid (HNF) is to increase the base fluid's thermal conductivity. We regard Ag and Au as nanoparticles (NPs) and blood as a base fluid for this phenomenon. Broadening this reveals that the consideration of nanoparticles has impressively extended the warm movement at the parcels of both turbulent and laminar frameworks. Attention is paid to the slope of speed, temperature, and voltage. The geometric model is therefore described using a symmetry technique. We developed the governing equation for this problem's analytical solutions. The velocity and temperature fields solution is given in the form of the Bessel and modified Bessel functions. Graph results show the mathematical benefits of the current limits: for instance, Hartmann number M , solid volume part of nanoparticles ϕ , Reynolds number R e β , Prandtl number P r , intermittent slob limit, etc. The strain angles introduced in the stress contrast, frictional force, velocity profile, and temperature profile were obtained, and the characteristics of the vortex were investigated. Resources at various boundaries of the perceptual flow are examined. As with the final essence, the smoothest results are analyzed and recorded. It has also been discovered that the velocity may be regulated by the external magnetic field, which affects the temperature profiles and hence the heat transfer, which can be enhanced or lowered by mastering the magnetic field. In (Al2O3-Cu/H2O) hybridized nanofluid (HYNF) is an unsteady electro-hydrodynamic stagnation point flow. A stretchable (shrinkable) surface that was convectively heated was studied in the past. In addition to the traditional nonslip surface, the heat generating (absorbing) and the velocity slippage constraints are deliberated in this research. An obtained nonlinear scheme is resolved by the homotopy analysis method. Governing parameters are the electric field parameters, that is, the dimensionless parameters including the magnetic parameter, Prandtl quantity, heat generating factor, Eckert quantity, and unsteady factor. We discuss in detail the effects of these variables on the movement of problems and thermal transmission characteristics. Increasing the values of the magneto and electric force parameters increased the temperature. Increasing the Prandtl number lowered the temperature. For the Eckert parameter, an increase in temperature was recognized. The symmetric form of the geometry model displayed improved the fluid flow by the same amount both above and below the stagnation streamline, while it decreased the flow pressure by the same level. The more heat source uses to increase the temperature of the HYNF over the entire area, the more heat is supplied to the plate, but with a heat sink, the opposite effect is observed.
