Abstract: The monomolecular compound ethylenedithiotetrathiafulvalene (EDT-TTF(CONHMe)2) and the charge transfer salt tetramethyltetraselenafulvalene (TMTSF)2ClO4 were successfully recrystallized using the drop casting method. Samples of various sizes were obtained, with widths as small as 300nm and thicknesses above 30nm. The length of the samples can reach 1mm. The conductivity of the former compound, σ ≉ 3.10-7Scm-1 is typical of neutral TTF derivatives. Its bulk mobility is about μb ≉ 1cm2/Vs. For the thinnest samples of (TMTSF)2ClO4, the two point conductivity is dominated by the sample conductivity instead of the contact resistance. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
