An interview with chairman Andy Simpson of Natural Environment sector of Learning Outside the Classroom Council at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is presented. Simpson believes that the best way to encourage children to care on to nature is a hands-on learning through an enthusiastic adult. The article discusses the use of fantastic voyages as a perfect teaching strategy for science. Teaching strategy that includes the students' participation is considered the best teaching strategy since these students are allowed to experience and apply what was learned in the classroom. Since, some of the class discussions cannot be applied with such teaching strategy, walking among the trees can be a fantastic voyage for the students to explore.
