Abstract

SUMMARY Thrombosis of the pulmonary trunk and right branch with subsequent pulmonary infarction in a 4 year old Macaca mulatta is reported. A subsequent haemodynamic event was almost certainly the dilatation and hypertrophy of the right atrium and ventricle. The cause and pathogenesis is unknown.
