Byron Trott, a banker with The Goldman Sachs Group Inc., is to leave the company and form his own merchant banking company, which will receive an investment from Berkshire Hathaway Inc.. billionaire Warren Buffett's company. Trott is raising a fund that will invest in and give advice to family-owned businesses and entrepreneurial companies.
