The aim of this paper is to establish conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the solution of a nonlinear integro-differential equation. Moreover, it is to propose a quadrature method in order to find an approximate solution and establish the convergence of the method. In this paper, the qualitative behavior of a discrete-time prey-predator model with Allee effect in prey population is discussed. Firstly, the existence of the fixed points and their topological classification are analyzed algebraically. Then, the conditions of existence for both period-doubling and Neimark-Sacker bifurcations arising from coexistence fixed point with the help of the center manifold theorem and bifurcation theory are investigated. OGY feedback control method is implemented to control chaos in the proposed model due to the emergence of bifurcations. In this paper, we consider the Burgers equation B(2, 2) . Exact and nonstandard finite difference schemes (NSFD) for the Burgers equation B(2, 2) are designed. First, two exact finite difference schemes for the Burgers equation B(2, 2) are proposed using traveling wave solution. Then, two NSFD schemes are represented for this equation. These two NSFD schemes are compared with a standard finite difference (SFD) scheme. Numerical results show that the NSFD schemes are accurate and efficient in the numerical simulation of the kink-wave solution of the B(2, 2) equation. We see that although the SFD scheme yields numerical instability for large step sizes, NSFD schemes provide reliable results for long time integration. In this paper, an ordinary differential equation model of HIV infection of CD4+ T-cells with saturated reverse function is studied. We prove that if the basic reproduction number R0 < 1, the virus-free equilibrium is locally asymptotically stable. And there will exhibit backward bifurcation when R0 < 1. If R0 > 1, some feasibly sufficient conditions are obtained for the global asymptotic stability of a positive equilibrium of the model by using the theory of competitive systems, compound matrices and stability of periodic orbits. Furthermore, we also obtain the conditions for which the model exists an orbitally asymptotically stable periodic solution. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the results. We focused on traveling combustion waves that appear in a simplified, one-dimensional combustion model in porous media. The system we consider is a reaction-convection-diffusion system that can be reduced into two-dimension in order to prove traveling waves by phase plane analysis. In previous studies combustion wave velocity was assumed positive and their existence was proven. Also, all possible wave sequences that solve boundary value problems on infinite intervals with constant boundary data were identified. In this study, we generalize the previous work by including the case of negative combustion wave speed and taking the assumption that oxygen is carried faster than temperature. In this paper, we introduce an extended Sprott E system by a general quadratic control scheme with 3 arbitrary parameters for the new system. The resulting system can exhibit codimension-one Hopf bifurcations as parameters vary. The control strategy used can be applied to create degenerate Hopf bifurcations at desired locations with preferred stability. A complex chaotic attractor with only one stable equilibrium is derived in the sense of having a positive largest Lyapunov exponent. The chaotic attractor with only one stable equilibrium can be generated via a period-doubling bifurcation. To further suppress chaos in the extended Sprott E system coexisting with only one stable equilibrium, adaptive control laws are designed to stabilize the extended Sprott E system based on adaptive control theory and Lyapunov stability theory. In this study, we investigate an susceptible-infected-recovered-susceptible (SIRS) epidemic model with logistic growth and information intervention. Firstly, the basic reproduction number R0 is defined and the main results are given in terms of local stability. Also, the normalization condition leads to a new hypergeometric summation formula involving 3F2 terminating series with unity argument. For nR = nB, we provide an alternative proof of this summation formula using q-hypergeometric functions.
